Speaker 1:

What is up everybody? Welcome back to another episode of the Chasing Daylight podcast. We got a lot of golf to talk about this week. We've got the BMW championship that just wrapped up. Tour championship field is set. A couple of guys with some stellar play got themselves locked into that top six spot of the Ryder Cup. Scotty Scheffler, continuing his putting woes, and the Lucas Glover story about getting beat by his wife resurfaced this week and that was absolutely hilarious. So thanks everybody for tuning in, thanks for the people that are hopping on YouTube joining us. You can see we've got a couple changes. We actually got Joe some lights, so we get hey, look everybody, that's Joe. That's Joe right there. I don't know if nobody's ever seen him before. We got Dan on the show. He's down here. He's calling in from work. Look at the dedication, I fucking love it. And then big J, big, big winner J, over in the other corner. So how's it going, guys?

Speaker 2:

Doing good? Yeah, didn't well.

Speaker 1:

So, so, let's. Let's start off with a little bit of the BMW championship. I thought John Rom was going to run away with this and guy can't keep it in the fairway right now. What? What is up with John Rom?

Speaker 2:

Just wasn't as weak. I don't know, it's just just wasn't the total, the total package wasn't there.

Speaker 1:

It's. It's like some holes he has signs of greatness and then just bad, bad, bad golf for him. It was a good turn. That, though, it came down to the I mean Victor Hovland just played his ass on a 61 on a Sunday at the BMW is wow that's that was the course record. I don't know, that guy.

Speaker 2:

I think he said the course.

Speaker 1:

Wow, that's. I mean that shot on 18. I mean the two toughest holes on the course, 17 and 18, and he sticks it to six feet on 18. Wow, that's really incredible, joe. You doing OK over there, buddy?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just I'm trying to log into my Google so I can get into the YouTube chat.

Speaker 1:

Ah, OK, right. Just changed my password, so oh, hey, hey, thanks for an. Appreciate it, we're getting there. See, I got a, I got a couple of things on the screen here, you know, and Joe's got some things. We got some other stuff coming up, if Joe can get it to work. But it's been a wild 48 hours for me trying to get stuff to work and I'm, I'm, I finally said the hell with OBS and and got.

Speaker 4:

Fernando, I work with Fernando, right, so he was like just use the virtual camera on OBS, and that's how this all started. So shout out for an end.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, thank you so much you. You stressed my life out unbelievably over the last 48 hours.

Speaker 4:

But he's also. He's also helped with the future of CDP.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah, right. So I'm actually using the software that comes with Canon and I didn't know that it did this. Otherwise I would have done this a long time ago and, like I said, you'll the people that are tuning in on on YouTube, you'll be able to have a little perk for for seeing this, the folks that are just tuning in, listening in on Wednesdays hey, come check us out, come check us out. So the tour championship is set, field is set. A couple of players missed out. It was coming down to the wire there. I mean, there was at one point. Guys were like point one points out of making it. I'm like good grief, you think about the whole season and one putt in one tournament is and that's it, to get a chance to go to Eastlake. But we got a solid field. It's going to be looks like you know it's going to be another great tournament. Scotty Shuffler, though, what, what do we got what? I just don't know, man, if this, if this cat could putt it's not like he can't putt right, it's not like he's not winning a lot of golf and playing right there, Like for the most part.

Speaker 4:

like his putts are just like right there.

Speaker 1:

It's so freaking close and man it's. It's tough to watch when you know, like you're used to seeing him at least you know in the time that he's been around he's making a lot of putts and to see, like that putt on 17 that he missed and a couple earlier that he should you know, not necessarily should have made but could have made just not having the playing game but still competing. It's, it's going to be. He's got a good lead now for Eastlake. He's going to need it. Did he play?

Speaker 4:

Eastlake last year.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 4:

I would think so.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

He, him and Rory, were going at it on down to yeah, you know it was really cool about the BMW was like Fitzpatrick and Shuffler like literally like just straight going at that pin because that was their only chance, like and they both hit really good shots in there Like if Scotty hit it a little further, like potentially would have went in and then Fitz, if he would have hit it a little more left like that would have spun back into the hole. That that was cool. But oh, shut up Victor Hovland. I mean what a, what a back nine dude Like that dude is, would they say one time he had 11 threes on the card.

Speaker 3:

Just do this. All gas, but I like it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he only missed one fairway and he was in the rough and I think he had a three iron to like two feet like out of that rough Like that was. That shot was so sick.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So the the good, solid play from what was it? Shuffler, or yeah, shafley and Homa got them into the Ryder Cup, and that's here we can use this new new feature. Right here, here we go.

Speaker 4:

Let's see it. Let's see it.

Speaker 1:

Let's see it there it is.

Speaker 4:

Oh, there it is.

Speaker 1:

Hey, the Ryder Cup standings currently got Scotty Shuffler, wyndham Clark, brian Harmon, patrick Cantley, max Homa and Xander Shafley. Those six guys have locked in their spots, the next six in the points. Now this is where Zach Johnson takes the captain's pick and he gets to choose. He can choose anybody he wants. He's the captain, he can do it. But if he were to strictly go off points, it would be Kepka, spieth, cameron Young, colin Maracaua, keegan Bradley and Sam Burns. Surprise, ricky wasn't there. I guess you know not having.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he got bumped out a little bit the last few weeks.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, not some great. He started really good at this tournament, but then shit the bed.

Speaker 2:

I would be surprised if he doesn't pick Ricky, though I feel like US may need a little bit of power, like a little energy, and I think Ricky could deliver that.

Speaker 4:

I totally agree.

Speaker 2:

I think, Ricky is going to be picked.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean that's where it gets really interesting is, like everyone in the top, like Ricky's 13, right? So I mean everyone in the top 13 can those are good captains. Picks like Brooks is there, keegan, ricky, I mean, and Justin Thomas isn't far off, like 15 or 16 for JT. Maracaua is right there, and so it's going to be interesting to see what Zach Johnson does, like, which way he takes it. I can totally see him taking Brooks and I think I think he's going to take Keegan. I think he might take Ricky because he's been playing so good lately. So I don't know, it's going to be interesting.

Speaker 2:

It's going to be really Someone's going to get snubbed. Someone will get snubbed from that that. Maybe that may be in the rankings.

Speaker 1:

wise is not going to make it in. So who's who do you think is going to get snubbed here? My, my bet is Cam Young.

Speaker 2:

I was going to say Cam Young or Sam Burns, yeah.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Sam Burns is probably already hasn't been playing well, but I mean like Cam Young hasn't been playing well either. So I could see those two for sure, I think. I think Brooks is going to get a pick, jordan's going to get the pick for sure, I think Maracaua is going to get the pick and I think he would rather. I mean Keegan will probably get the pick, especially with his comments the other week, him being more of like a force, like a captain kind of kind of vibe, and with how good Ricky's playing, I could see him getting the pick. And with JT, jt hasn't been playing great, but I think we could bring a fire. He could bring a fire to the team.

Speaker 1:

So having bones there. It's just, it's the team aspect to having bones there is just huge. Hey, what's up? Juju, juju's in the house.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I could see JT and Ricky replacing Sam Burns and Cam Young. I think that would be the.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's currently what I'm thinking.

Speaker 1:

But does that team compete? Does that if we get rid of those guys?

Speaker 4:

I mean it's. It's interesting because we're in a match play situation and you got Rory, who's playing really good golf and who loves the Ryder Cup. You got Victor Hovland, who's just a stud like dude is a player, so and you got John Rahm, who hasn't been playing great, so and you got Hojian Gardens, so I don't know, We'll see, but I think I think I don't want to say like, jt makes a great case, but I think the fire that he could bring to the team and bones on the bag in the room, I think that I think that I think it's huge. I don't know if JT could win most of his matches or anything. He definitely gets a point, I think, out of it. But will he be a deadlock for a shutout? I don't know. But I think the experience could help and I think Keegan's a great pick. So I don't know, we'll see. It's going to be interesting. It's going to be good Ryder Cup, I think.

Speaker 1:

Yeah that I think there's going to be more drama around these captain picks. You know the Bryson fanboys are going to be wanting him. Brooks I'm still up in the air about Brooks. I I'm not sure if he's would be good for the team aspect. Or do you say screw it and just let's game, let's, let's, let's hope on his gameplay and just go with it and see.

Speaker 4:

I think it's a good pick. I mean, yeah, I think Brooks is a bad pick.

Speaker 2:

I think the team aspect he'll be fine. Yeah they're all buddies.

Speaker 4:

They're all friends.

Speaker 2:

They all, that is true.

Speaker 1:

They all are friends. I just think that, with the live and the PGA and all that shit that's going on, it's just one extra thing that they're going to talk about. That doesn't matter, and it's going to be on the forefront. And do you want to hear that shit during the Ryder Cup? I don't know.

Speaker 3:

But that's what the media does.

Speaker 1:

They make the drama.

Speaker 3:

The players don't feel it. The players don't. They don't really care. Like you said, they're all buddies. You know, you could see after. I forgot what time it was, but is the master's, not the royal. Well, chumming it up like oh, they're both. They really are, and I just think the media tries to make more out of it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, damn media.

Speaker 4:

I mean, I think that was PGA championship where it was Brooks won and he was coming off and everyone's just like hey, like let's play in Naples soon. You know kind of vibe.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was a PGA championship, you're right. You're right, it was the block party party.

Speaker 4:

Hey, he tied the course record right at Valhalla. Do you see that?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, 63 or something. Yeah, ridiculous. Another score from him, which is where PGA is next year.

Speaker 4:

He's going to be there. I mean, oh yeah, dude's got an agent now, so he's not going away.

Speaker 1:

Did he sign it in? I L deal. Yeah, oh goodness. All right, so let's, because it's kind of been a little crazy weather wise for us. You know we don't really much deal with hurricane weather. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be much more than what we got, just because once those hurricanes get to the cold weather they kind of go away. But California got blasted.

Speaker 4:

Let's bring in Maddie G here and Indian Wells golf course is gone.

Speaker 1:

Indian Wells golf course is gone. I don't.

Speaker 4:

I don't know, but I saw. I saw an image that looked like Indian Wells, and it was just flooded.

Speaker 3:

So, I don't know.

Speaker 4:

Palm Springs got hammered, bro. I've no dokes courses. Probably fine, because that's up in the mountains.

Speaker 1:

So hey, filibuster for a moment while I find the file, because my dumbass didn't bring it over.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, good job. Way to ruin the episode.

Speaker 1:

Way to filibuster. Thanks, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Did you see all the water? See all the water coming down Mount Charleston?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, with the, with the trash can coming down. Yeah, dude, we were sitting at home on Sunday and I was just like waiting for the rain, like I was looking at the Doppler radar. I'm like I want it to rain, like it's my day off, I like I like chilling in the rain if I don't have any golf plans. So like waiting and waiting and waiting and it's not coming. And then as soon as I decided to go pick Dairy Queen up, it starts raining. I might drive there and I get home, and then it's done so.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's hear. Here's Maddie G.

Speaker 5:

What's up guys? Mac on, talk back again with the Chasing Daylight podcast. All those that played this past weekend hope everything went well at Aliantay and shot some low scores. I know the weather held off. We're hoping to get a little more rain in Las Vegas Valley. Actually not too bad, a little overdone in the forecast, but hey, we'll take the low end of the flooding risk and we're looking to dry out for the upcoming weekend. So Saturday and Sunday a slight chance. On Saturday afternoon, temperatures gradually warming up will be in the upper nineties in triple digit Saturday and Sunday. So we're back to the summer like weather. And then Sunday we're looking okay, some breezes from time to time, but a dry weekend and the golf course is probably drying out.

Speaker 4:

Heading to the upcoming weekend you know, I was thinking the other day I was right, I was writing Matt a message on Instagram, mr Gontaric, and I was thinking like do weathermen watch Weather Channel like it's like golf channel, because it's what they do.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to have to ask him.

Speaker 4:

I was going to message him and then I was going to also tell him like for me, like living in Las Vegas, I feel like Fox five morning news or evening news feels like the most local to me.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

Speaker 4:

I enjoy watching Fox five the most because it feels like they are local. They may feel the most local to me like CBS.

Speaker 1:

Local news feels like I don't think they're just like talking heads.

Speaker 4:

They actually yeah, they, they, they fuck up, which I enjoy, you know so. I you know. I feel like they're the most local to me and I appreciate that. I'm happy he's there because I enjoy Fox five.

Speaker 1:

It was hilarious. He he was on vacation last week and his I think his brother. They went on a Bachelors party.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, bachelors party is that they did?

Speaker 1:

some bourbon tasting at some different distilleries and he was. He was struggling Monday morning. It was like you could tell.

Speaker 4:

I didn't pay attention. But when I get up, when I wake up, and if the channel's on something else, I turn it to five just to see what's going on. And yeah, I should have paid attention to that because I'm sure he was.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but we got, so we got dumped on last night and then the wind picked up and actually had to take my net down because it was like halfway over the fence the back fence the wind picked up and it you know it moved to 45 pound plates and you know, you know it's crazy is like yesterday.

Speaker 4:

we were so like worried about the rain and the storm and everything. But it was a great morning to play golf and I wish I had had golf scheduled. Fernando told me he was out at a because he's a member out at the Muni and he was out there at the range and nobody was there. Wow, Like it scared everybody. We only got a few drizzles down here, I mean I think I think it would have been a great day to play golf. I wish, I wish we had some golf scheduled yesterday.

Speaker 1:

Well, I was incredibly happy with how well Saturday turned out. I was totally, I was worried, you know, and and Maddie told me, hey, you should be good till you know, around noon, one o'clock, and I mean it was absolutely. The overcast sky was gorgeous. There was just a little bit of wind, not much. I mean, Allianz was in fantastic shape.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, you know I really liked was I thought it was gonna be like super soft, but it was. It was running out really nicely.

Speaker 1:

I mean whatever water whatever water they got Friday night it drained off really well on the course. Yeah, yeah, because I mean it was absolutely in great shape, which I mean everybody knows. I have not been a fan of that place for a while, but you know it's a fun place. It's fun it. I played it three times this year and each time I played it it got better and better and the, the bunkers were really good yesterday. Really good, really good and I mean it was a lot of fun I had. I had a really good time. It was. It was like Like playing Allianz.

Speaker 4:

I feel like that, like I'm at Wild Horse somewhat because there's so many. like runoffs of the fairways and the greens, like things run off, they run away from the play area which, which I enjoy, I mean Allianz during the wintertime is super firm, dormant, fast like yeah, exactly, and even even in the shape that it was in, which was really good shape, it just it was running, it was the fairways were running out, which is always fun, but it falls off in a lot of areas. It's kind of Rossi, you know, kind of Donald Ross ish, I got Ross a couple of times, even though Ross did not do that.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I so the I want to. I want to give some love to to Marcus Gant. He has been helping me with my swing, and I went and met him at the Las Vegas Golf Center, which, by the way, whoa Wow, has that place gone downhill.

Speaker 5:

Not only, not only in golf balls and grass.

Speaker 1:

But like the people that were there and I don't want to talk shit about people, but man there was like golfer, YouTuber, want to be guys there, like all wearing the same outfit, all wearing David Duvall sunglasses, and it's dark and just like hitting, swinging as hard as they could and going whoa, it went like 20 feet to the right. Just it was like wow. So, anyways, he came out and met me and I got some eyes on swing assistance and wow did what he helped and what we've been working on was amazing and I was really excited about Saturday and I said in the Instagram post that I'm going to shoot 75 or 105 because the good is really good and the bad is really bad. Thankfully, none of the bad showed up on Saturday, except for my irons. I just had a little mental lapse on my irons and everything was coming up short. I think I only hit four greens. I was five over on the par threes. Just the irons were garbage, but the driver and the wedges and the putter were really good and that's what saved me from not finishing last. But somebody somebody on the screen got another victory.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Look at this right here everybody. Oh, there he is.

Speaker 4:

Was that your new Travis Matthew polo that you were wearing?

Speaker 2:

No, that was a Nike Tiger Woods shirt from 2016 that my company bought me for the Utah State Am. I played in it? Well, I'm wearing my new Travis Matthew polo shirt. I almost wore that, but they're amazing. Oh, my goodness, I know that.

Speaker 4:

Beth just texted me he's tuning in. Those new polos are holy, incredible. I'm so happy they switched from that like canvas feel.

Speaker 1:

I did not want to take that thing off. It was so comfortable. Normally I come home from from playing and it's like everything off shower and I just sat down on the couch and was like I am so comfortable.

Speaker 4:

I wore this to work today. I wore this to work today.

Speaker 1:

Oh, the t the t shirts are amazing.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's like you know.

Speaker 1:

I would wear one every day stylish.

Speaker 4:

I'm chill on business, I can do it. You know what do you need? I'll take care of it. I'm in Travis, matthew, oh yeah. So, yeah, Jeremy, congrats on the win. I mean, yeah, absolutely Well done.

Speaker 2:

Well, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 4:

I mean, Trey was coming at you with some wedge action, but you know that was I was going to lead into that.

Speaker 2:

It wasn't. I wasn't feeling scared or nervous. I mean I was surprised when I asked him what he where he's at, because I didn't check the scoreboard until 18. When he told me I was, I have two putts to win, and I'm like, OK, that's cool. So I didn't know he was. He was. I knew he was playing well, but I knew he was probably a few over. And when he told me he was even on like whole 15 or something like holy shit man, I mean I knew he was playing well in the back. And for everyone that doesn't know, this is the first tray Trey started out, I think he was four five over after four holes and on the fourth hole he three putter, four putted from three feet and then through his putter and broke it. So from then on he was testing out what he's going to be putting with. I think he putted with an eight iron, his 52, and then ended up pun with his 54. He shot five under par from hole five on and shot even par with no, he was dude, he was making no joke. He made 150 feet worth of putts with his sandwich.

Speaker 4:

That's amazing.

Speaker 2:

I've never seen him before in my life.

Speaker 3:

That is unbelievable.

Speaker 4:

I texted him because when I was pulling up he said hey, hey, joe, what's up? You know we're taking off. I made five birdies with my wedge. So I'm like, oh, you hit it that tight, like, and you just tapped it in with your wedge. So I got home and he was. I texted him. I said I didn't know, you putted with your wedge. I thought you like, hit it tight, like. That's incredible, that's really crazy, really amazing.

Speaker 2:

I mean he wasn't. He wasn't hitting them all tight Like he had a few, but he was just making like every 10 footer he had he made. He didn't have a single three putt with his wedge, no care in the world.

Speaker 3:

That's amazing. He was really funny, he was like I would have loved to see that.

Speaker 4:

Oh, I would have loved to see that. I'm like kind of disappointed that I didn't see that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was. It's one of those things where you're like that'll probably never happen again. When do you shoot 500 with your wedge and putter?

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

I mean, well, it could go into that like hypothesis where, like low expectations and you, just, you, just, you just do it because you're not expecting anything, he's probably expecting to miss all those.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, and we, every time we made one, we just all look at each other and we're just like flabbergasted, like how, how the hell? So I mean he wasn't making short putts, he's like he made like two or three 25 foot putts. It was just. It was the story of the day, that's for sure.

Speaker 1:

It was awesome he was up at the house during the week and built a one of the long grip putters.

Speaker 2:

He has the sick putter that he gave to him. Yeah, he's got the sick putter.

Speaker 1:

So the popular thing that everybody, a lot of the guys on tour, are doing with the extended grip and, you know, heavier weight. And he went to play Boulder Creek with it afterwards. And then I saw him, you know, saturday morning. I'm like so how'd it go? And he's like man, these are slow, I should have brought it out here. And then to hear that he four putted from three feet which oh, man, that's. Oh, that's brutal, that's, that's. Yeah, it's pretty rough. You don't want anybody to go through that, nobody to go through it, especially in a tournament setting. But way, way to fight back.

Speaker 3:

That's that is that is the.

Speaker 1:

If you know, if we give out awards for the, the play of the year, that's tray shooting 500 with no putter.

Speaker 4:

Definitely yeah, I mean, he should get an SB. Yeah, an SB, there we go.

Speaker 1:

We'll have to come up with our own VG and SB awards.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, viginespe.

Speaker 1:

Viginespe, viginespe. Yeah, so I wasn't the one that broke a club. So, yeah, I want the the. You know the intervention with Trey that you guys had with me. Do we need to bring him on here? And, and you know it's and let him know, it's just a game.

Speaker 4:

I don't know he didn't snap it over his knee.

Speaker 2:

He shot 500 with his wedge.

Speaker 4:

I think he made up and he didn't snap it over his knee, correct you like, tossed it.

Speaker 2:

He tossed it with authority, okay.

Speaker 1:

I was ready to line up my putt.

Speaker 2:

I was just watching I'm just like, oh shit, and he, he could have made two of the putts but he sort of like just carelessly, like kind of didn't take his time. But I was getting ready to line up my putt and then I just hear smack against the rock.

Speaker 1:

I know that sound very well, I didn't know, it broke until we got back to the car, though.

Speaker 4:

Oh man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but he does need to give that putter head to someone now.

Speaker 4:

So if you're listening, if you're a soul golfer, you gotta, you gotta give it away.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't think he's not going to fix it though, so it may just be like a well I told him I have a, I have a polar, a polar stability shaft.

Speaker 4:

I'm willing to trade for it if he wants. He said he's going to throw in some project X like X stiff, something like that. What up, cyrus? Yeah, welcome.

Speaker 1:

Oh hey, welcome. Cyrus, Got the kids to bed. Thanks for tuning in.

Speaker 4:

But yeah, I mean, what, what? What an interesting, crazy story Like so cool. I wish, I wish I had seen it, because that's awesome, like Tim to just go up. What is it? 14 holes without a putter and just go five under. I mean that's insane.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I haven't gone five under on a stretch with 15 clubs in the bag, let alone no putter. So cool man. So Dan you catting and out at a bears best. I'm sure you've got some stories about club tosses, and definitely so. So what's one of the wildest things that you saw take place out there?

Speaker 3:

Well, besides Jeremy's five wood or three wood designating the night demarkers, I can honestly I can honestly say that there's probably I probably witnessed about about seven, eight golf clubs thrown into the water on 18 for sure. I've actually seen two right away on whole one.

Speaker 5:

Wow, that's early.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so that was definitely a good way to you know the tone for the day. But yeah, it's. I've seen all kinds of busted over the knee, over the neck, you know like that but, Shane Lowry countless, countless. Yeah, count, I've been, I've been, I've been here, even at like, really nice.

Speaker 4:

Number one, and that's that's, that's ambitious.

Speaker 1:

That's early.

Speaker 3:

I mean usually it's because the guys like running on those sleeves, or he's been up for like nine days straight.

Speaker 1:

It's the fourth round the last round of the trip, and you know, his eyes are just closed.

Speaker 4:

Did any of them say like I have to go, I have to go to the pro shop. Do I a new club?

Speaker 3:

No, not really. They usually try to give me money to go run and do it. That's hilarious, Some people just just going nuts out there.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, they just, they, just they gotta find their soul.

Speaker 3:

You know, find your soul, they lost their soul a long time before getting that. Golf course, man, they left it on the craps table.

Speaker 4:

Come on Hard 10.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean mine. Mine was stewing for a while. I could imagine how bad of a day you would have to have on the first tee.

Speaker 4:

Yeah that's just really crazy, like just do it on the first tee.

Speaker 2:

Wow. However, it probably like the guy was probably super chill after that the rest of the round.

Speaker 3:

Well, for the most part they were pretty. They were all pretty chill. It seems like as soon as that club loses their hand like, so does all that anger. But yeah, still got a bunch of rack jobs out there too. Yeah.

Speaker 4:

Oh, you know, I was thinking about this the other day, right? So this kind of this kind of leads into I mean, it's kind of similar, I guess. Right, so a lot of like golfers, right, they grind it home on a putting mat. Do you think a putting mat gives a false sense of like hope or security? Because you're dealing with like a flat lie and you know that, you know that putt, like obviously it helps, it helps your stroke, right, like if you're trying to dial in a certain thing, but if you're looking to just make it in the hole on your putting mat, does it give a false sense of security when you're on the actual greens? Because there's movement, you know, there's ballmarks, there's undulation, there's grain?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think it does. I think right.

Speaker 4:

I saw a video last night and I put a fucking reminder in my phone, like to bring this up, because I was watching someone, and I was like oh, so you're just drilling eight foot putts all day, right, you're just, you're just drilling eight foot putts, like you're not doing that on the golf course. Dude, like you're not, like, did I?

Speaker 1:

feel a false sense.

Speaker 4:

It's a false sense. No, I'm not. I'm not. Yours has movement in it, you know.

Speaker 1:

But I'm just saying like I think if you're DJ is perfect putt practice putting green, like I just. I think, if you're working on your stroke, if like you're, if you're working, on your setup and you're working on your takeaway and your and and that and you. You don't care if the ball is going in the little cup that's on that device and you're just working on your, your path and your setup. Yeah, go all day long. But if you, if you think that, because you can make 10, eight footers on the DJ, perfect putter, that you're going to bring that to the course.

Speaker 4:

No, no, I think that's where they get it wrong is they see the ball going the hole and they think it was a good pot. But that's not necessarily the thing, like if you are working on something, just like at the range, like if you know, if you are actually looking down at how your putter is moving your stroke and not super concerned about the ball going in the hole. And I think that's where the false sense of hope is is if you see the ball go in the hole, you made a good putt and I think that's where the putting mats can fail you. But I just saw it last night. I thought it was interesting because I just saw someone like drilling like eight footers and I'm like, oh, everyone's going in, that doesn't mean shit because you pulled that one, you know what you the putt view.

Speaker 1:

I think it's putt view, or I can't remember the books. The greenery, no, not the books, they have putting mats and they have different ones.

Speaker 4:

But well, you're talking about? Well, yeah, they have like the games built into it.

Speaker 1:

Well, it's not necessarily games, but it's training, it's. They have different angles that you can hit and different speeds, and you know they're they'll have like a eight foot putt and then so they'll say, ok, to land it in this circle. Past that as a 10 foot putt. To land it in this circle is a five foot putt and it's all based on on distance control and that that thing is brilliant. I was like really impressed with the amount of detail that goes into it. Yeah, yeah, so I think one of those. But there's no, there's no holes in it. It's just a flat mat and you know you can, you can get little discs to put on there to have a target to shoot at, but it's that's the one with like the.

Speaker 4:

it's like there's a hole, like, and printed on the on the yeah, yeah, it's just a the. And then there's like a speed zone.

Speaker 1:

Mm, hmm, yeah, but I mean it's, it's really, it's really well designed. It's, I think, one of the best practice putting training aids that you know you can get if you're looking for something to roll the ball in. I mean, if you're going to, if you're going to spend the time to practice your putting inside, spend the money, get one of those mats and actually have a training regiment that's going to help you with with your speed control.

Speaker 4:

Well, that's where that's where it is. It's, it's. Are you actually working on it or are you wanting to see the ball fall in the hole? Because if you see the ball fall in the hole doesn't mean it's a great putt, but those mats can help you. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, it all depends on what you're wanting to get out of it.

Speaker 4:

Totally yes, 100 percent. I think it's golfers. We are wanting to see a ball fall in a hole because it's a satisfaction kind of thing, and you know most people aren't going to buy a mat with a hole. Not no hole in it, it's flat Like. I don't think Most people are going to buy that.

Speaker 2:

I think it's a toy for like want the satisfaction for like 90 percent of the people that play golf. I think it's. A putting mat at home is like a toy. Yeah, it's not a totally, I don't know. I mean, this may be completely off, but I would say, like the majority of golfers probably don't actively try to get better, like there's, there's a small amount of people that actually put the effort in to get better. Most of them just want to play golf, which you know, you know it's, you know whatever. It's an individual thing, but I think the putting mats are perfect for the people that just want, just like you said, they want to hit the ball in the hole. Yeah, exactly. It's a way for them to connect and and feel like they're.

Speaker 4:

They're doing something yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, let's go golfing.

Speaker 4:

Now, now, for now.

Speaker 2:

I said you know for a perfect putt mat.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, goodbye. Thanks, dj, sorry, but we do meet me and Fernando we do have. Thanks to Fernando, we have a putting green in the office, we have a little practice thing and we have like a little bullseye putter, and I won lunch off him one day.

Speaker 1:

So I hope you guys should go have these on one of those putt putt well mats, because it's crazy how good they are. No, I would get one but I have a putting green in the backyard and my wife would kill me.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, my wife got me one of the perfect putting practice, whatever they're called, the DJ one. Yeah, you know, and it was too. It was too long for anywhere in my house, so, um, but it was good. I feel like they've improved it recently, like the wood with the magnets. I don't know when I had it. It wasn't the greatest in my opinion, but you know it fancy yeah. It all depends on like, same as your swing, same as anything like what are you putting into. It is what you're going to get out of it, and I just think the majority of people are just looking to see the ball fall in the hole. You know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, and if, and if you know that's what it takes to make you boost a little bit of confidence, hey, go for it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean hey, I'll drain three, I'll drain three in a row all day on our putting green in our office and I'll put like shit or wherever it is. So it's, that's, that's probably because it comes from my own, like insecurities, so I'm just wondering where you guys are.

Speaker 1:

I couldn't read. I seriously need some help. I need to like find a class on how to read a green because my speed is point apps Absolutely on fire. Amazing, I hit so many putts that were just absolutely perfect speed, but I just read them wrong. We need to do.

Speaker 4:

We need to get Cyrus to connect with the aim point guy out at Summerlin and then let's all just go do a class. Cyrus, I know you're, I know you're listening Find that guy. Let's go all to go do a class because there's a guy that teaches aim point up at Summerlin. Let's document it and let's see if there are new things and we can. We can refer the listeners to him. He's, he's up at Summerlin. Cyrus is a member up there. Come on, cyrus.

Speaker 1:

You have a job now.

Speaker 4:

You're on the clock, you're hired.

Speaker 1:

You're on the clock, let's. Let's find out what it's going to take to get however many people we can get signed up for.

Speaker 4:

I forget to do the name, but I was looking, I was looking him up, I was looking him up and I think that would be awesome.

Speaker 1:

Is it Cyrus? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.

Speaker 4:

So there's a. There's a certified teacher of Aimpoint at TBC Summerlin.

Speaker 1:

Is it? Is it Mario? Is he the?

Speaker 4:

one. That's Aimpoint. Let me look it up Aimpoint off. Let's see.

Speaker 1:

Oh, he's helped you a thousand percent. Wow, okay, does he? Is he teaching Aimpoint Kevin?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, we need. Cyrus is on the ground, so Cyrus, come on. He says he's.

Speaker 1:

He's an independent, not TBC staff, but he does teach out there.

Speaker 4:

Right, I didn't know he. Yeah, I know he teaches out of there. I didn't wasn't sure if he was TBC staff, but yeah, I think that would be a fun experiment.

Speaker 1:

All right. Well, kevin, you or Cyrus, either one of you guys, talk to him and see if he'd be interested in getting some, some hacks to come out.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, Try totally, and then he can come on the podcast and you know 100 percent, you know. I would love to have him on the podcast.

Speaker 1:

It would be fun.

Speaker 4:

I mean.

Speaker 1:

I'm down for it. I I know James fights. When he was at UNLV he did Aimpoint and well, Harry does Aimpoint too. Yeah, I was with him one day out there and watching what he was going through and then I saw the Aimpoint book for TBC Summerlin, which those makes those putt view books look like. You know a three year old coloring book.

Speaker 4:

Mario bevel a key. What I fuck this name.

Speaker 3:

He's not coming on.

Speaker 2:

But his name is Mario His name is Mario.

Speaker 4:

Mario be will call him.

Speaker 1:

All right, yeah, I'm, I would be down. I'm told I need something. I need something because I think I'm. I'm happy with my setup, I'm happy with the putter. I mean this is the longest any of you have seen a putter in my bag, right? I mean it's been in there for a while now and I I'm down anything. I mean I've broken out all my my putting books. I've been reading them lately. I just I just don't understand. I. I'm seeing things that just aren't there. Was it Bob Look, aqua, I bevel a quiet. I'm I'm terrible at names, I'm sorry.

Speaker 4:

Mario be.

Speaker 1:

Mario, be, it's easy.

Speaker 4:

I think that. I think that would be a really cool experiment. I like if we go see him try and learn some stuff, play a few rounds of golf and then have him on the podcast to like discuss if we learn anything, how we could improve. You know, I think I would be amazing. I think that would be incredible.

Speaker 1:

Hey, speaking of improving, tomorrow morning I am interviewing Brad Thompson, the golf fitness gentlemen. So so if anybody's listening now and you have any questions you want, fire them over to me. I'm interviewing him tomorrow morning and that'll go out on Friday. I can't wait to talk to him because now that I'm actually eating better and exercising more and I've lost some some LB's I'm looking forward to finding ways that I can increase my golf fitness to you know, help out any way I can, so that'll be a great interview. See, if you got any questions, fire him over and then that'll be out on Friday. So, hey, joe, you want to bring up the odds? I know your little screens not working. Yeah, we worked so hard for this today.

Speaker 4:

No, I put so much shit together and it just disappoints. It was going to be really cool too, but it's something else to tinker on for the next month or the next week. William Hill has a new app. William Hill has a new app.

Speaker 1:

It's slowly growing on me. It's a loss of a lot of money on like next pitch bets, but it's fun, all right.

Speaker 4:

So your favorite for the tour championship at Eastlake is Scottie Scheffler, plus 130. Damn, they changed their odds too. So that's 1.3 Rory plus 3.3 Victor Havlin, plus four and a half John Rom, plus eight and a half Patrick Kelly 18. Xander 30 to one. Max Homa 35 to one. Lucas Glover 45 to one. Fitzpatrick 55 to one. Brian Harmon 60 to one. Russell Henley 65 to one along Wyndham Clark. Tommy Fleetwood 75 to one. Ricky Fowler 90 to one. Colomora Cowell 125 to one. Tom Kim 150 to one. Tony Fina 200 to one. Jordan Spieth 275, or not 275, but 275 to one. The pluses are fucking me up at the bottom. You got a set struck a. Nick Taylor a million, agree. Oh, adam shank 100 to one.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I wish.

Speaker 4:

I wish, I wish, I wish OBS would have worked and I could just pull it up and we can all seen it, I it's.

Speaker 1:

OBS is on my shit list.

Speaker 4:

Well, I don't have it. I don't have a cannon.

Speaker 1:

I know Well, if I didn't have a cannon, I would have OBS, because I tried it like you have a cannon, it's just it's not a full frame. So anyway, all right. So let's see, dan, you actually won the week because you had who. Did you take Corey Connors? Yeah, joe, had Matt Seaman. He would tear. What a fucking asshole.

Speaker 4:

I mean every sushi. Yeah, jeremy, you had can't Lee and I had John Rom.

Speaker 1:

John Rom didn't participate. So, dan, we're going to give, we're going to give you on, or, sir, you can take the first pick.

Speaker 3:

Well, he's a little far back, but he's a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of, a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit, a little bit of a little bit of SKP Z eight back, I think, and he was on fire this past weekend.

Speaker 4:

He played really well, so Tour championship.

Speaker 1:

All right, jeremy, I'll go, I'll go ahead and give you the next one.

Speaker 4:

Well and Shawthly starting three under so he's seven back off the game. Seven back, yeah off the gate.

Speaker 1:

Seven back.

Speaker 2:

I really, really, really want to go with Cyrus's picking those beef, but I think he's a little bit too far back. He's going to. He's going to be like eight, ten back actually. I think he's See, is he even?

Speaker 4:

Who Spieth Spieth is. I haven't pulled up here. His name is out jumping out at me.

Speaker 3:

I think he is. I think he's like 27.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's got to be even, because I he's not jumping out it. Oh yeah, even par Yep, so he's ten back.

Speaker 2:

That are you taking? No, I'm going max homo.

Speaker 1:

Oh God, that was my next big.

Speaker 4:

That was, that's my one and done against birdies of bourbon, because I still have him. What's home at home Is four under, so he's six back and his odds are Thirty five to one.

Speaker 1:

Thirty five to one man. That was my next one.

Speaker 3:

Great picture.

Speaker 1:

All right, I guess I'm going to. I'm going to have to go, scotty, just fucking asshole, he's got the lead and and I, fucking loser. I'm going straight and I'm going to come up from behind and win it all.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're just coming, coming from the rear.

Speaker 1:

Coming from the rear the chef.

Speaker 2:

This is going to be interesting for Joe. Now what?

Speaker 1:

is what is? What is his odds?

Speaker 4:

Point two to seven he is one point three to one Plus one thirty.

Speaker 2:

Well, what was he last year? He was in first right Because he was like he ended up losing to Rory by a couple or by one Over his I want to his odds.

Speaker 4:

Look, Shuffler is going to put like shit. It's happening because he's putted like shit this entire year.

Speaker 1:

Does the spider stay in the bag for one more week?

Speaker 4:

Does it matter? Because you have put like shit with whatever putter is in the bag there's only there's only one. There's only one man that can come from behind, and he's from fucking Norway. He's from Polesbo, Washington. Hey, the man himself, Mr Victor Hovland, getting them fucking cream cheese. Cruelers bear claws, whatever kind of pastries they make up there in Polesbo and Norway.

Speaker 5:

Victor Hovland for the win Starting to back to starting to back, filled with confidence.

Speaker 1:

What's he done at Eastlake, Jeremy Victor?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, let's take a look here.

Speaker 4:

He's four and a half to one. Look, I and you know I typically wouldn't go as chalk as Matt does on most occasions- but, whoa.

Speaker 1:

I feel attacked.

Speaker 4:

Victor is Victor is he's improved? Incredibly. Dude is coming into his own. Hey, everyone said he didn't have short game. He fucking did that.

Speaker 1:

So he was T 15 last year?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was what did he start at last year?

Speaker 1:

T five last year or the year before.

Speaker 4:

It's Victor's.

Speaker 1:

T 20.

Speaker 4:

And then he wasn't in it so that did you see how, like the BMW did not phase him at all, he shot 28 coming in Seven under.

Speaker 1:

And you're feeling it. You're feeling it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, just takes one day.

Speaker 3:

Is Victor your early nationalist prediction for next year.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it is that time for Joe to make bold predictions.

Speaker 4:

He's already made one last week. I mean yeah. I mean, does Victor win a green jacket eventually? Yes, I could see that. Does he win an extra? I don't know. I could see Victor winning a green jacket though. First green jacket winner from Norway Ever.

Speaker 2:

He's the first action what they?

Speaker 4:

he's very likeable yeah.

Speaker 1:

Can you?

Speaker 2:

imagine what they would eat at the dinner the following year. He just like stoment.

Speaker 4:

Twenty four yeah, bear claws or something Fermented, fish.

Speaker 2:

And their claws.

Speaker 4:

They eat some interesting things in Norway, yeah tickles JJ's smoky burgers from Polesbo. Too funny, too funny, all right I mean, but the thing is is like dude Victor is coming to his own Like he. He was cursed with the Puerto Rico win and he won at Memorial. He won BMW. Well, he won. Did he win the hero? Yeah, that doesn't matter, but he's one. He's one Some big one, he's. He's one some big ball tournaments this year, and you know, everybody talks shit about it. I don't want to say Tigeresque, but like you talk, it's like Michael Jordan asked like when people said that Michael Jordan didn't have a defense, he came back and won defensive player of the year next year. Yep, people talk shit on Victor's short game. And now look at a short game he's, he's killing it, his, his, he did yesterday. He's young as fuck.

Speaker 1:

Six feet.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you are saying champion. I mean it's the writings on the wall of the kids, the kids in play.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, my, my, a cova.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, my times two.

Speaker 4:

That's right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, victor, victor's a beast.

Speaker 1:

Kevin, thanks so much for hanging out. Man, appreciate it, love the love, the chat, and we'll learn how to say Mario's name, maybe.

Speaker 4:

When we meet him. We're going to ask for a pronunciation when we meet him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, big B, just call you Big B. Tell you how calm dad if he helps me with my putting.

Speaker 3:

Hey did not to get too far off subject, but did you guys hear about real company? No, I think it's. Or, excuse me, eric, not work Eric, he, I guess a few days ago or something he got arrested for domestic battery and some kind of like larceny, I guess I guess that's it for his wife and for her phone. In the pool we were against the wall. Well geez, yeah, I was reading about it today. I was like wow.

Speaker 1:

He's not a big guy either, is he?

Speaker 3:

Isn't he?

Speaker 1:

I mean.

Speaker 3:

I don't recall him being a big guy, but that's Yikes.

Speaker 1:

Wow.

Speaker 3:

Dude, he's a double the one. That, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Our transplant came back twice, yeah, wow.

Speaker 1:

Crazy man. Fortunately, hey, have you been right now. Oh, what are you?

Speaker 4:

pulling up, you can talk. I was pulling up the article.

Speaker 1:

Have you guys watched the Johnny Manziel thing on Netflix yet? No, it's, and if you're a college football fan, it's good. It was really good. I was did not think it was going to be as good as it was, but it's. It's worth a watch. It's worth a watch. There's a second one that just came out, so not that one, the first one that came out. I can't remember what it's called, but really good.

Speaker 2:

I wonder when the full swing season two will come out. I can't remember when.

Speaker 1:

Right, that needs to happen. It should be good. There's so many things are getting canceled because the writer strike. Yeah, tv is going to suck.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, on Vegas news, though, pop stroke broke ground, which was cool to see yeah, yeah, that's coming soon.

Speaker 1:

They, they need to plow over Las Vegas Golf Center.

Speaker 2:

You need to do something to make a pop stroke short course there.

Speaker 1:

You can't. I don't understand how. How, like somebody goes back, there's no dimples on the golf balls, you're hitting ping pong balls. It's like remember how bad Boulder Creek was before they bought all those range balls from Southern Highlands, like. It's like that smooth golf balls.

Speaker 3:

And what happens when you get into dirt and the yeah, the old bands and stuff. God I was like.

Speaker 1:

I mean, it'd be nice to know that the ball that I just hit, I'd like to see its trajectory Like the way it's diving out of there. First, to happen, not, hey, that ball moved seven times.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's a shame because that that place could be something really cool, like it could be.

Speaker 1:

I mean, there was a lot of people there. It was a.

Speaker 4:

And there's always people there on the range.

Speaker 1:

Wednesday or Thursday, I can't remember what day it was. We went, but man, it was packed packed.

Speaker 4:

Now. What now? What do you think? So putting greens are a false sense of security. Do you think the Las Vegas Golf Center range is more of a false sense of security than putting mats?

Speaker 1:

If you're hitting off of a mat with those golf balls, yeah, you have no clue what's going to happen when you go to the golf course? No clue.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's my help. What happened to my hook slice? Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I was hooked at everything.

Speaker 4:

Dude, everything was diving and running, bro, it was killer.

Speaker 1:

I was hitting this draw fade. It was sick.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, man, I don't know. I mean, it's, that place could be really cool and it's going to take someone to just come in and just like, Put some money into it. But it could be really dope. They could be like I mean, they get a lot of people out there hitting golf balls, but they just don't.

Speaker 1:

I just don't. They don't care they don't care.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, they don't care.

Speaker 1:

It's. It's one of those vagus attractions that people are going to go no matter what and so they don't care and it sucks, because it could be. It could be really good I mean just turf the whole thing like they did. Chimera, chimera yeah. And make those balls last more than six weeks and you know you'll.

Speaker 4:

But do you think these pop strokes going to take away from them at all?

Speaker 1:

I mean pop strokes, different it totally is very different.

Speaker 2:

I don't. I think that people go there for the entertainment of golf, not the actual like practice.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, how much. How much was it, joe For pop stroke? Yeah, how much was it? For? How much is it going to cost for two people to go play?

Speaker 4:

when I went in Orlando. I this is just. I don't remember correctly for sure, I'm probably off a little bit but I feel like it was like 20 to 25 dollars and you could buy it all day pass for like 30, 35 dollars.

Speaker 1:

So I don't know.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean you're paying 20, 25 dollars to play nine round Raya holes of mini golf, so it's expensive yeah.

Speaker 1:

So I'm yeah, I heard that rumor too that some guys were trying to buy, but I, as far as I know, the guy that owns the land is never I mean he's never letting it go and that's why nothing's ever being done out there. If I let me know if I'm wrong, but from everything that I've ever heard is when he sold to worldwide, worldwide wanted the range, and he said no, and that's why there's no merchant there anymore, and and he just doesn't care, doesn't care.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, if you don't need the money, like that's a prime spot, so don't sell it. If you don't need the money, the money and that's probably every year that.

Speaker 1:

Every year that land doubles in value.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's fine, that just means, he's OK, he's comfortable.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yep, it would be nice. So, hey, last thing, dan, you kind of tease this earlier Pinehurst 2025. Is that what we're talking about next?

Speaker 3:

I mean we could. I mean there's like 15 spots I want to go to in the next five years, but yeah, it just depends on you know who wants to go and seasons. Of course. You know a lot of these places like Michigan was Obviously we can, yeah, but I mean yeah, I mean he's got me with no golf. Yeah, yeah, let's go.

Speaker 4:

That's where I'm battling is like. I definitely want to go play Pinehurst number 10 because it's going to open here real soon before the the opens there next year. Right, it's open.

Speaker 1:

The US Open, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4:

So it's definitely going to be open before the open next year. I want to play Pinehurst number 10 for sure. Two, four, eight, 10, I think are the ones. But like Sand Valley is calling my name and that's, that's a. That is a summer trip. You can't do that in the winter.

Speaker 3:

Absolutely there's. I mean, pinehurst is Pinehurst. It's always going to be different, no matter what. But because you and I were there, joe, january, yeah, and just having the travel, golf, golf travel destination that I have right now, like there's so much more out there that I kind of want to see and get to before I go back to Pinehurst, yeah, but but yeah, I mean Sand Valley, all these pictures with the leader that are cut better out now, yeah, you know Sej Valley going to be done here pretty soon, it is not already. You know the two courses there. The short course, like Sand Valley, is going to be in the next two or three years. It's going to be, I think we do Sand.

Speaker 4:

Valley 2025 summer.

Speaker 1:

I think, I think that's a play. I like it.

Speaker 3:

I like it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean I.

Speaker 3:

Stoltz, stoltz. We can not come out to the Stoltz.

Speaker 4:

So I was talking to Brian Hansen, right? That's the guy that his dad gave you daylight. B G Hansen seven something on Instagram.

Speaker 3:

That's more for answer.

Speaker 4:

He, his dad, gave you the knee, the knee brace, during Solstice.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was telling me that it's harder to get into the Sand Valley Solstice than banded like he said he he's like number 80 on the waitlist. Wow, yeah, start now. Yeah, for next year. But you know, I don't know we get. And then you got Aaron Hills right there, you got. You got Black Black Wolf Run, you got there's so much straights, I mean century.

Speaker 3:

We're just an hour away.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

And.

Speaker 4:

I think we, I think we do need to plan that for 2025, since we're going back to banded next year, but I think, I think, I think Sand Valley definitely be thrown into the hat for 2025 summer summer time, because yeah. I'm already in. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and then you can. You can do Pinehurst any time of the year, most of the time, even though Bob thinks it's going to fucking snow all the time. But yeah, it can be done because we've done it and we need some biscuits and gravy from the track restaurant for sure.

Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

Speaker 1:

All right, folks that'll do it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, loss on your links to.

Speaker 5:

Kevin's this week's show.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, hopefully we'll be able to get Dan at home next week. It's, it's all Cox fault, just they, cox. I mean, what are you going to say? They're Cox. Yeah, I mean, the name is self-expanded. Yeah, so, dan, we got to see your face this week, or?

Speaker 4:

this podcast.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, can pay to get.

Speaker 3:

It's not here in the belly of the Thomas and Mac.

Speaker 1:

What's going on at the T&M right now?

Speaker 3:

We have. Nissan is in the building right now and they're doing a big car show. Kind of have to hide because I get sideways Looked at them. So they decide to decide like NDA, oh yeah, couldn't take pictures, they have social media, other stuff. Yeah, wow, hey, I want to leak with their new cars.

Speaker 1:

It's like something that I was shocked at. You can go see pictures online now the, the new Santa Fe, the new Hyundai Santa Fe. Oh my God, it looks like a Land Rover. They just I did see that. I look so killing it with that design.

Speaker 3:

Supposedly, supposedly, they're unveiling their new 400. Yes, they look like race car thing to match up with the GT. We'll see.

Speaker 1:

We're not just golf.

Speaker 4:

I mean, let me know if you find like a, like a. I'm really missing this artifact from my childhood. It's a foam two by four, hacksaw Jim Duggan, two by four. Then I got a Thompson Mac when I was a kid, when I went to the WWF over there. So if you see that floating anywhere in the basement I would gladly take that.

Speaker 3:

You know what, Joe? There is a lot of stuff where it's just packed in the box as you open it up, and it's stuff that's 35, 40 years old.

Speaker 4:

Oh my God, that's makes so much. Let's make some money.

Speaker 3:

Old you and the old you and the old like hard to get stuff from back in the time. Yeah, it's crazy, and it's just sitting here collecting dust. Yeah.

Speaker 4:

I can alleviate the storage.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, get someone to sign that release and we'll take the pallets and we'll I'll just be like, hey, this stuff's been in this corner for the last 40 years, do you mind the fun, some golf trips. That's the Valley trip right there.

Speaker 1:
