Speaker 1:

What is up everybody? Welcome back to another episode of the Chasing Daylight podcast. We got a packed house. You can see Trey's joining us, got Joe Jeremy's back from a sick leave. Dan's in the house. You know it is Ryder Cup, but I got to rep UNLV because I got a winning record right now and I don't know how long it's going to last, so I got to roll with it while I can. But this, this episode, is all about the Ryder Cup, the 2023 Ryder Cup over in Europe. The USA team is going for back to back wins. There's been a lot of I don't know if you want to call it controversy about this Ryder Cup, with the picks that were made. Definitely, the live actions going on has put a little bit of a cloud over this, because some people think some players should be here. I'm not one of those, but I think it will get into it Honestly. Yeah, the USA side and the Ryder and the Europe team. So how are you all doing this evening? Doing great.

Speaker 3:

How are you doing?

Speaker 1:

Jeremy, you over your cold.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the Petrie dish that is my six year old child brought that home for me.

Speaker 1:

Yes, we love our kids for those reasons. Yes, joe Trey, you guys made it back from San Diego. I see Nice and safe.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm exhausted. Oh yeah, I found out there is a persimmon muscle back here Like right, right, yeah.

Speaker 1:

From trying to swing it too hard or the flex of the shaft hitting you in the back Just fucking whipping, bro, it's just fucking, just whips.

Speaker 2:

I realized after I toe slept. The first one on my first haul is like man, fuck this, give me my three.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, you should have seen Trey just like going after it and just fucking knuckle toe. Swinger Like.

Speaker 1:

I'm sure that the head probably still behind him, as his hands are six inches past the ball.

Speaker 2:

I get to like right here in my downswing and the three wood head was almost in the Pacific Ocean. Lag behind so much.

Speaker 4:

I will say it was very fun hitting those persimmons. I mean I've hit a couple of times but it was a lot of fun. I hit really good. I was able to shape it like a shit ton, which was awesome. It was a lot of fun. Trey had his first Portillo's experience, which I know, when we were gone. It hit the news and baby's kind of background. But hopefully we get one here soon because the news was all about it.

Speaker 2:

Oh bro, Beef and Chad.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Let me get that sandwich.

Speaker 4:

bro Trey took a bite and he's like oh.

Speaker 2:

When, the minute, that minute that gets there, I'm going to go get that to go and I'll put it in a hot pan. Just press it down. You're like a crust, like a crispy bun.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, little crispiness.

Speaker 4:

It was so good we traveled out there and we played Temecula Creek with Mark Shut up. Mark. It's like I'm saying I know he listens and he's Dude great photos by the way, he does great work. But we played Temecula Creek, which was a little boring. The front nine was kind of flat and boring. The back nine was better. It could have been a little longer, but I'm sure Trey would probably be dying to tell this story.

Speaker 1:

So I'll let Trey take this story real quick. Well, hang on, hang on. But before we get into that, let me just do a couple yeah.

Speaker 5:

Business things.

Speaker 1:

So the interview with Patrick Lindsey from Shriners that's going to be out on Friday, so everybody mark the calendars for that. I want to thank everybody that is on YouTube for hopping in. We're slowly growing our subscription numbers, but man share it. Let everybody know we, we. There's no reason why we shouldn't have more people tune in into the show, and I think that's it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, we're answering your questions too, and I mean it's like let's make this engaging and you know, tune in every Monday at 830. Like we're here and we're in the chat and we'll, we'll see you and we'll mention your. Got any questions, let us know.

Speaker 1:

Yep, jed's tuning in right now. Thanks so much, man. Appreciate you hopping on. So, yeah, if you got any questions or you got any comments, uh, you know, we, we Joe's man in the chat to let us know when, when something comes through. So don't don't be shy. Don't be shy, all right. All right, so go ahead and get back to your trip.

Speaker 4:

Trey, go for it.

Speaker 2:

All right, so I had an Asian Karen moment and they were not this Asian, another one. Um, so what was it Like? Third, fourth hole, something like that. Joe, fifth hole, yeah yeah, part five, I had four or five. Yeah, part five. I had maybe two 45 to 50 and so I take out the three iron and no warm up range was closed. Maybe he had like two range balls and I catch it a little off the heel, a little close to the hosel, but off the heel, and there's probably 60 ish yards between the green and the next tee and the groups like walk in towards that next tee. Well, I mean they're walking away. So I'm walking up to my ball ready to hit, send it and starts going towards one guy you know three people I'm playing with, joe included, obviously far I'm waving right. I'm like look, bro the right, like you see even this big guy waving at you and hits his leg on the way down. It doesn't one hop it but just hits his leg on the way down. And you know I dropped Joe off to hit his balls, I fuck. And he goes like full care and on, yeah, he's like. I mean I walk up to him. You know I'm a little concerned, just make sure he's OK. I was like dude, like sorry I hit you, like are you OK?

Speaker 4:

He's like no, I'm not OK, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And that was him. Like no, I'm not OK. Like I'm like, what are you talking about? Like not OK. He'd like lifted up his pan leg and the bruise is like you know golf ball size Of golf ball.

Speaker 4:

Golf ball size hit by a golf ball.

Speaker 2:

And yeah, I've been hit by a golf ball in the leg before it. Every time I've gotten hit by a golf ball I just left my ass off because it's funny and shit. And then I you know he's like he want. He asked me for my ideas, like, if anything bad happened to me, my lawyer will call you.

Speaker 4:

I don't think it was. Japanese that you're doing, japanese tray.

Speaker 5:

I don't really care.

Speaker 4:

Anyway, Trey dropped me off.

Speaker 5:

Right.

Speaker 4:

So, and then I'm like I hit my shot up to the green, which we I think we both birdied that hole, which was great.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean he picked up my ball, through it at me. I actually dropped it where he picked it up and got up and down, but I gave him my number and but it was a few minutes right.

Speaker 4:

So I roll up there and like I'm like, oh, let me just go up, so Trey's not alone, or whatever, because he's been there too long, like for this situation. I roll up and he's like well, I'm going to talk to my lawyer and you know you'll be hearing from him if there's something more. Something more to this fucking piece of trash.

Speaker 2:

I'm like you, fucking guy like Joe.

Speaker 4:

Joe no I did not.

Speaker 2:

I just shot out the specific law injury. Yeah there we go. You know, I I've been hit by a golf ball like three times and the three times I've been hit by a golf ball I laugh my ass off because it was the funniest shit. I didn't even think it's something like that was possible, based on where I was standing when I hit a golf ball. Yeah, you know, and I'm 250 yards out. Luckily it didn't get the 150 mile an hour. That was measured on swing speed or ball speed, it just caught it on the way down.

Speaker 4:

But I looked it up Like I look if he caught bands driving might have been dead, because that's the low sting.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, right.

Speaker 2:

There's like it was. I mean, it was like literally like just like Right next to his fucking leg muscle, like his quad muscle, and I'm like that's and he was walking.

Speaker 4:

He was fine, but he called the pro shop. Pro shop came out like to like the assistant pro and they were like she, you know, asking questions, and they're like you did everything.

Speaker 2:

They were just like there's nothing here, you know like yeah, he was like I, he's, he just goes all right. So just kind of fill me in on situation situation. I told him exactly what I told you. I yelled for a waved out to the right and the guy looked at me. He's like well, he did what you were supposed to do and I don't see any problem here. I'm like no shit.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, like. Trey Hendel they couldn't do anything about it. Like you, he's on a golf course. Like you, got hit by golf ball. That shit happens.

Speaker 2:

You're on a golf course You're on a golf course where every green is by the T. Yeah, did I hit a? Not a good shot? Sure, but it happens as golf. Yeah, and you, like, you stopped walking on the way there and I'm yelling, for I'm waving my big ass body over to the right Like pay the fucking attention.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was interesting, but I wonder how many, if there's like a number of how many people each day get hit with a golf ball on the golf course?

Speaker 4:

I mean, I mean, there's gotta be some, it's gonna say I was gonna say did you get the first time that you get served?

Speaker 6:

Yeah, Joe, my lawyer should be in contact with you.

Speaker 4:

No, ok, yeah, I've been waiting. I've been waiting, I've been dodging him. I got the cam at the front door. I'm like slip out the back door.

Speaker 1:

This is why we need your boy to sponsor the podcast, because you could have just walked right over that guy and go. We're sponsored by a little term.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, but it was interesting, great story.

Speaker 4:

Temecula Creek was cool, front nine boring, but after that we hit up. We ran down to Goat Hill and what a what an awesome event. The Kingdom was put on by Cam Kelly and it was a great event, yeah. The King Collective. It was so goat hill. I mean, I know I've mentioned it before, I love Goat Hill, but it was so cool to meet all the people. It was kind of like it like, you know, when you go to band and it's like everyone loves golf. It was kind of like that kind of vibe. But at Goat Hill Park, you know, like I know Mike, we met Mike out there. He's. He's in the chat right now. Shout out, mike. If I do another shirt, I got one for you, but it was. It was super cool. A lot of really cool people like just just vibes man. Shout out, like just vibes. And on my favorite thing that we did out there on Sunday, it was just kind of like a free for all because the course was closed down for us. We played like in a 16, you know player kind of like a 16 some, basically for a few holes and then we broke off and then we started creating our own holes. We were like hitting over holes and like creating our own holes, like we were playing Tommy D Core, crenshaw kind of situation and just you know, from here to there let's go. You know that was. That was a lot of fun.

Speaker 2:

That was. That was my favorite part right there Like, because for me that's something that like is not normal.

Speaker 4:

You can't do that. You just can't do that.

Speaker 2:

You can't do. You can't really do that anywhere unless you rent out the whole place, which it was until like one o'clock on Sunday. We ended up playing like five or six holes. I mean, we're standing on the green finishing one hole and like, hey, we're going to go over there, hit it over there, we're going to go over here and hit it there.

Speaker 1:

I'm like I would, and that's I mean how many people were on the course to, because you know, typically you get a lot of people going cross country like that You're bound to run into some mess. But so how many?

Speaker 2:

I would say Sunday morning was about half.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, so there was like I think there was what 33 players on Saturday, something like that. And then.

Speaker 1:

So it was probably like 16, 20 out there. Oh, that's perfect yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then we we pretty much played like the first started on the back nine. We played the first like five or six holes in that 16, some alternate shot with eight to some is pretty much. And then we broke off for that cross country action and then played like five or six of those, played two more and then we bounced.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was. It was really cool, like just to meet like I know there's a couple of guys out there that like I have chatted with on Instagram with a couple of times and just to meet them in person and them actually be cool. You know. Like you know, you meet people Sometimes they're a little bit different, but it's like everyone was really dope Met new people that I never heard of. I was kind of bummed that when we were playing the cross country shit, like I was like let's go down. From where were we? I think we're on like 16. I was like let's hit from this box down to 10. And everyone's like that's too far.

Speaker 2:

I think. I think it was nine. Well, how is too?

Speaker 5:

far.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think that carry though that I mean because we were using our normal clubs at that point, but I think the carry was still like it was two thirty it was.

Speaker 4:

It was two thirty, so it was like 200 carry, but we could have made it a par seven. We were, we were making our own course.

Speaker 2:

I was. I wish we should have done that. I know seven.

Speaker 4:

It was. It was. It was a shit ton of fun Really good food, like catered food, like open bar, great raffles. I know there was auctions like with great shit and it was. It was a lot of fun to meet some really cool people and build connections with others that truly love the game and just like it was a lot of into it Perseminates, which I've never done before. It was, it was awesome. Was it competitive at all?

Speaker 3:

Like did you, was there like a winner, or that type of thing.

Speaker 2:

Not for this guy, joe. Joe made some money and skins on Saturday afternoon, but I definitely did not go there with competing in mind. Like I went there kind of like brain off, like kind of going through the motions, just enjoying the time. Like you know, I smoked a little bit, drank a little bit and yeah, like that was just. Like you know, for me it was just like let's just chill out and just network with some people and meet some good people. And you know, it was good to make some connections with people almost like all over the country, like different parts of the.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, there was a bit of a like competition aspect to it on Saturday, but like nobody really took it that serious, and no surprise, ryan won everything basically there.

Speaker 2:

But that's nine in America, that's not in.

Speaker 4:

America. But no, I I did win a skin and someone made an Albatross on like the third hole of the day. Shout out to Jeremy he's. He's up in San Francisco. He's really cool and it was. It was a shit ton of fun, man. I totally would do it again.

Speaker 2:

Lots of circle.

Speaker 4:

T's and lambs, a lot of banding hats and banding bags and you know and shit like that. We played global also, which I've never done, yeah.

Speaker 2:

You know, and it's crazy you know, I started that segment on why golf? Why do you love golf? It is a very similar answer for a lot of people, but at the same time, when you know offense to you guys, cause I love playing golf with each and every one of you, but when you get yeah.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

No offense, but you all suck no what I know is our answer for the most part.

Speaker 2:

Yeah Right, what I'm ultimately getting at not relation to the segment I'm starting is when you meet people that come from different backgrounds that play the game that you do, because even the five of us have a different background on how we started the game and why we keep playing it. But you know, you meet people that are like I had never met people that were so into golf photography when I was there. Like there was, you know, probably three, four or five guys that were had the big cameras and taking a bunch of photos and stuff like that. Like it's just different to see Now, like how people love the game differently but at the same, but the same different aspects. Yeah, yeah, it's just different aspects, like you know. So some people play to like collect all the gear and do all of that and go to those kind of things, and you know, then I'm talking like. The crazy thing is is Dan and Jeremy. You guys probably know more than I would, but you know, talking to some of these guys from different parts of the country, they're playing this course and that course, this course and hell. I found out about Paco Ridge in New Mexico. Yes, that was the number one public golf course Like well, shit, now I got to go there.

Speaker 4:

Shout out pins and passports.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, shout out barrels for telling us about that. And then I told a couple of guys that never played in Alistair McKenzie and they looked at me like I was a retard.

Speaker 4:

Oh yeah, this is where I wanted to tell Dan. So barrels Mike pins and passports. He's like you need to go play Northwood, like let me know. And he said. He also said Yoko dehi was incredible, know it.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, we got to get it. Yeah, I mean, when you play with people like that aren't from the same area you are or even live where you live and you hear about the places they've played, like it's just different, like there's so many people, so many people were talking about this course and that course, and I'm sure Joe knew most of it, if not all of it, but for me I was just like. Is.

Speaker 1:

Northwood, the one that Eric and your life did that little yeah yeah. He said you have to play early in the morning and that's all the fog. That's amazing.

Speaker 4:

And I told him I was like I'm sure it's like walking, walking through a golfer's journal magazine, and he's like, exactly, yep oh yeah, probably.

Speaker 2:

Yep, you know, and it's crazy Like I am considering getting my camera back for my cousin in Florida. But you know a lot of these guys they just kind of have their camera ready to go to snap some good photos while they're playing. And you know, obviously we do that with our phone and you know, shout out barrels to for kind of give us some cheat codes on the video settings and stuff like that on our phone. But you know, it's just different to see the photos that you can take with a really good camera compared to a phone camera. And I never even thought about just kind of carrying it with me because you know, before last year it was doing a nice part of those stuff, so everything was on video, but I never even thought about just like. You know, you catch a good glimpse of the flag and the light or you know your homies standing here or there, you know. So it's definitely something.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, and of course now Mark Mark was in the car.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, some of those guys I know Joe was saying I think barrels of camera was like $3,000, lens or some shit. They all had like us, which.

Speaker 4:

I'm sure, matt, you know like a oh, Jesus. Yeah, they had like us and like M seven. Yeah so definitely a Euro trip, some good shit, but one thing was I played, we played the, the global, and I took my shoes off and I don't recommend going barefoot at Gilt Hill in pitch black. It was cool, but shout out.

Speaker 1:

That's a real reason you're not playing this weekend.

Speaker 4:

No, no, okay, the funny part, but shout out my partner on that dad and dad down the middle. He was cool too, man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the funny part is is like after the second 18 in the afternoon, like I was just done, I was tired, like I don't want to golf anymore today. And I look at Joe, like what do you want? He's like well, I want to play. You know, I want to play the global. I was like all right, cool, like Ryan was playing too, so he caught a ride with Ryan. And I look at Joe and I don't I'm sure I have, but it's been a minute Like I haven't seen Joe like slurry before, so like I drink all day I was talking to that, since I was like 23.

Speaker 1:

So I did it in San Diego last year.

Speaker 2:

Or before I go back to the Airbnb, joe's like yeah, man, I just want to go play the. I just want to go play the night golf. I'm in for it, man yeah.

Speaker 4:

You know, what I'm going to go for Soul golfing. Oh man, it was a great time, man.

Speaker 2:

Like, like hex, hex was the death. X would be the soul golfer if that was a picture of he's my spirit Internet.

Speaker 4:

He was the man. He was like. You know JR, you know Brett, like cause he's he's random golf club. I think he like works with Eric. I'm not really sure. But I told him that he asked me what my name was, like four times Like. I'm sorry, yeah, but he was just he just like goes with the flow. He was like late and he just, he's just, he's just living man. L I V I N, you know just.

Speaker 2:

Oh for sure, For sure, he showed up. He showed up. I was like, uh, he showed up on the second hole on Saturday morning. I thought I was like, yeah, you know, you made us a par on the first hole. He's like, oh man, that's fantastic, I know, I know who's good at this game. Yeah, and I had the percent hit the persimmon putter too, like all the way down to the shaft.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, and then Hickory putter, jacob, uh, public caddy. So I was trying to hook him up with Scotty up there Like just all walks of life man it was. It was a lot of fun. Um, I know we got to talk right or couple, which is probably going to also take 45 hours, but it was a lot of fun. Um, definitely would be down to do it again and um, shout out to everyone. I met it. Just it was just a vibe and it was like totally mine Jam, like you know that's what I said.

Speaker 1:

Joe was telling me about it at text message. I'm like dude, that just sounds like your jam, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh and Joe, it had hitting greens jam all over yeah.

Speaker 4:

It was a lot of fun.

Speaker 1:

dude, it was a lot of fun, all right. So did anybody watch the soulheim cup? I know you guys read it down, I know Mark.

Speaker 4:

Mark was giving us the updates, really that's. That was what Mark's job was. He was like someone aces someone. He was telling us we didn't watch much at all.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so here's, here's my big question. I guess you could say do you like a tie being a conclusion to an event like the soulheim cup and the writer cup?

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 1:

Thank you. I hate the fact that you can you cannot beat somebody and win. I get it. That, hey, you have it. They have to beat you to take it from you. But if you don't beat them, I don't think you should do this. This is my suggestion If it's tied, after the singles matches, the two clubhouses congregate, the players pick one person from each team, they go out and they have a sudden death playoff. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I think there has to be some level of that. But at the same time it was that writer cup in. What was it the late 80s or early 90s, when it was with Jack and Gary or something like that concession had the tie at concession. I think that kind of. I don't know anything before that without doing some research, but that kind of started like ties being accepted.

Speaker 1:

I don't like it.

Speaker 2:

But when you're running in, when you're running in teams of 12, you're going to have a tie eventually because of the even numbers. So I don't know. Jeremy you said that what should happen is the coaches, like the captains, go out suddenly. I mean it's Luke Donald versus Zach Johnson. I mean arguably two of the more accurate players in their careers.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's not edge of your seat TV drama.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just think that like they build up the writer cup and the soul I'm cup as a rivalry and then it ends in a tie. It's like maybe the tie is the classy thing to do is just keep it. You know whatever, but when you have a rivalry and you're trying to draw interest into that, you need to have a tiebreaker.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I just it's it's hard, it's hard to say we because you didn't beat them yeah. No the USA team did not lose. I mean, they didn't bring they didn't bring home the cup, but they didn't lose. You know, they played them even.

Speaker 2:

And yeah.

Speaker 4:

I think, it's like Nelly Coden shouldn't have lost. It's like do you ever want to see a football game or anything in a tie? Nobody wants that.

Speaker 1:

But NFL hasn't figured that out yet either.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, At least they, at least they like, go extra a little bit. They try, you know, try, they try. But yeah, I mean even even hockey's figured out. Shout out to Stanley champions starting their new season here soon, that's right. Go, knights, go. No there should be a clear cut winner.

Speaker 5:

I mean, if you have a state till Monday, you got a state till.

Speaker 2:

Monday like Tiger and Rocco played all day Monday to figure out a champion, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I would love to see them go back out there. You know, take three teams. You know three matches, two matches, just something. You know, a one or a three match, a three whole playoff, or just let's go play. You know match, play and tell someone wins.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah, I, you know, I agree.

Speaker 1:

I, I just.

Speaker 3:

Alternate shot playoff. I think that's what it should be, oh with three players oh.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, or just or just rotate the whole team all shot all the way through until someone's like nine holes.

Speaker 2:

Or until someone nine holes, or till someone's alternate shot, all 12. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, and second.

Speaker 1:

Now, that would be bitching. That would be fun to watch.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, because then you can't pick the best players to play in it. Every the whole team's got to play. That would be dope that would be.

Speaker 1:

That would be entertaining, yes, yeah, that would be saying All right, dan what do?

Speaker 6:

you think. Well, I don't know. I mean, yeah, watching a tie kind of sucks, but you know it's been like this for a long time. It's it's a race to a certain number, you know, and unfortunately the the number for the European team was 14 and USA got 14 and a half and they got to that number first. I mean it sucks seeing its eye, but, like I said, it's just, it is what it is, it's a race and just felt they felt a little short.

Speaker 4:

We just want to do a quick PSA. No, the Goddy D is in the chat. What isn't that wild, holy shit.

Speaker 1:

He finally actually clicked on the link that I sent him Only been sending him for a month Dance off.

Speaker 4:

Have a dance off.

Speaker 1:

That would be awesome.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, scott you got to go. You got to hit up Jacob man. He's awesome up there and Pella with you.

Speaker 1:

Have the Caddies play a hole. There you go, yeah.

Speaker 4:

That would be cool with a square strike. Looks good.

Speaker 2:

I would put a. I'd put Zander's caddy in there for sure. They played and played in college together.

Speaker 1:

OK, so the main event this, this Ryder Cup, is taking place in, but it's Marcos Simone golf and country club in Rome. The USA is the current holder of the cup. They won in record fashion back in 2021 with a 19 to 9 victory Wasn't even close. Now a lot of people are saying that this team Greenlee is one of them saying that this team is going to get smoked. Jeremy has kind of been on the. I think there's going to be some surprises. I'm I'm really not sure yet what I think is going to happen, but some of the players that were on that team that are not on this team. You guys know who they are. There's five of them.

Speaker 2:

Dustin Bryson.

Speaker 4:

Can't Lee.

Speaker 2:

No, he's on this.

Speaker 1:

He's on the.

Speaker 2:

Harris English. Yeah, Harris English.

Speaker 4:

All right, tell us Tony.

Speaker 3:

Tony.

Speaker 2:

Tony, tony, tony, tony, tony, tony Yep, which I would have picked, all right.

Speaker 1:

And the last one, yeah.

Speaker 5:

Anybody anybody.

Speaker 1:

Daniel Burger yes, yes.

Speaker 2:

The burger Low.

Speaker 1:

So the players that weren't, or the players that were not on that team, no, how do I want to phrase this? This Ryder Cup team Guys that were on it last year or the last event is a Scotty Schaeffler, patrick Cantley, senator Shoffley, kepka, jordan Speeth, colin Maricala and Justin Thomas. So we have five guys that were not there. That's Wyndham Clark, brian Harmon, max Homer, sam Burns, ricky Fowler, right. So Dustin Johnson. Try and I were talking about this, for everybody hopped on. You know what his record was last year, yeah, last Ryder.

Speaker 4:

Cup. Yeah, he did really well, right, was he like five and oh, five and oh, brison was two, oh and one Tony Fina was one and two, harris English one and two and Daniel Burger was two and one.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it's. I'm not a big fan of the.

Speaker 2:

Wyndham.

Speaker 1:

Clark Brian Harmon. I'm not a big fan of the Wyndham Clark. I'm not a big fan of the Wyndham Clark. I'm not a big fan of the Wyndham Clark, Brian Harmon I get why they're there.

Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah, they are in their way. I mean like, yeah, I don't.

Speaker 2:

I hear here's the when it comes to Wyndham Clark. He won Memorial and he won the US Open Too, very hard golf. Totally. You know, and when it comes to that, when it comes to Wyndham Clark On Friday and Saturday, I'm playing him three out of four times and he's got to be with a veteran Because he's going to be jacked up. Those 194 ball speeds are probably going to be sniffing 200 in Europe because he's going to be jacked. However, I think he plays with Out here.

Speaker 4:

Well, he's better. He's better than Roy McRoy, I suppose, Lee, I guess so.

Speaker 2:

Well, I mean that's, which is what he's going to be a lot. You know I, when it comes to people saying stuff like that, this is my opinion on it. If you don't think that way, then why?

Speaker 1:

are you even playing? I agree, yeah, you know everybody's shit on Patrick Reed for that, though.

Speaker 4:

I get it, but if he doesn't, if he doesn't hold up his end of the bargain, he's going to get shit on. Well, in time, we'll tell you exactly, but, however, I think you have to think that way. And that's what made Tiger great, because he thought he could win every single tournament.

Speaker 1:

So no, no, no he knew he could win every tournament.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know what I'm saying and I but you know I feel that for especially guys, for like him, like it's a big deal to you, have to think that way. And right now Rory is, you know he's been one of the hottest players in the world the last and fully years. You know he's always been consistent. You know some of the majors obviously is, you know, suspect.

Speaker 4:

I did see something like so who do you think has the most pressure on them For this writer cup On both sides either side, what's the player that is playing in Europe or USA? Who has the most pressure, I think?

Speaker 2:

Justin Thomas yes, that's the answer.

Speaker 4:

So that's what some people said, but other people said Rory. I think Rory, but if you were to pick one from each. One from each but one player.

Speaker 2:

I would say I would say it'd be more Justin Thomas than Rory McElroy personally. I mean, that's only you know, that's only my opinion. However, I understand that Justin Thomas pick because with that, ricky Fowler and Jordan Spieth pick those three, they're the three amigos. So you know, as far as the locker room is concerned, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I think a lot of pressure is going to be on Scottie Schaeffler. I mean he was a captain's pick at the last writer cup and he is been dominating the PGA tour. You know he lapped the field in points for this, and well, I don't know, he's like the star. I mean there's other players that have been around longer and have more, more wins and have a, you know, a wealthier career, but I'm like he's the number one player for the USA team and well, here's the thing when it comes to that points wise, it's how much money they made.

Speaker 2:

That's how many. That's what the points are considered on the US side. So he's made $25 million the last two years without any bonuses or anything. So it's bound to happen that we definitely going to get picked and and I said it two years ago for him getting the pick and then winning that singles and winning like he did in 2021 in the writer cup. That was his coming out party and look what's happened to us. Yeah, yeah, and the big thing is, especially this year, he's number one in almost every category. Fucking putting except Well he's been, he's been with Phil Canyon, since the season was over. So OK, prediction.

Speaker 1:

Super stroke on his super stroke on his Scotty Shuffler is going to have a pot to win.

Speaker 4:

The writer company is going to fucking push it right.

Speaker 3:

They'll live it out for sure which putters are you using? That's what I want to know.

Speaker 2:

He's got the sky.

Speaker 4:

Europe wins.

Speaker 1:

Scotty Shuffler misses a pot to lose the writer cup.

Speaker 4:

Damn. I mean hopefully he's got his putting dialed in rain, but Shuffler lips and Europe sips. I think Europe is such a sleeper team that, like you got set up stock over there. I just think Hovland, who just is on a heater, you got Rory, who's been there a bunch of times. I mean you're missing.

Speaker 2:

I will, I will say this I think they're such a sleeper. That I have a feeling, and it's probably definitely going to happen, that Luke Donald's going to put the Swedish Guys together and a Berg and yeah and a.

Speaker 5:

There's no slides that dudes.

Speaker 2:

I mean that dude's swing is, or donkula, it's so money. I mean I know he's never played in real big events, obviously he's just a rookie, but I believe For a guy like him Another coming out party, you know, maybe not majors and what Scotty Shuffler's done but I would say If he's the kind of player that rises to the occasion like God a shuffler did between 23 and 25. You could very well see Five to eight more worldwide wins. So the USA team has four rookies.

Speaker 1:

Wyndham Clark, brian Harmon, max Homer and Sam Burns.

Speaker 4:

I'm stoked for Max Homer dude Like Love to see Max Just Loving this.

Speaker 1:

But you're a team also. Has four rookies Robert Magantire, he's 27. Steps Strakas, 30. Nikolai Ho In the room Is 20. Garden and Ludwig A Berg is 23. So, evenly matched on the rookies, there's our couple little Few years younger than ours. Yeah, but this, this was a surprise to me. Anybody want to guess? Ricky fallers, writer Cup record Seven and 12.

Speaker 2:

No six and ten.

Speaker 1:

Six, ten and two, three, seven and five oh man damn, yeah, not exactly stellar, so uh five and a half points you know I like.

Speaker 2:

Well, I will say this. I don't know if you saw the post but, uh, he played with butch and butch's brother as metalist from the front teas that they play and he had 14 birdies.

Speaker 4:

Well, he should good warm up for the good warm up for the writer so Ricky has been there right and he has been heating up most of the year um. I think, he's found something. I mean, we haven't seen him in a while. Did he play in the championship, right, oh yeah and where what a?

Speaker 2:

month off from that six weeks off from that something like that yeah, and I'm sure these guys put some work in play with Jordan a few times yeah, I mean they're all friends.

Speaker 4:

Obviously I mean it's, it's. I don't hate the. I don't hate Ricky being on the team. You know the locker room.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally.

Speaker 4:

Scotty D saying he didn't win a match until his third reticup well, this isn't his first two reticup, so maybe maybe he, maybe he's aged, well, like a fine Napa everybody.

Speaker 2:

You know the crazy thing is, when it comes to matches of this style, it's any given day, right, I mean we could talk. I mean we could talk about this stat and that stat and that record and this record, but much like a unlike a stroke play event that happens every you know you got four rounds to make up room or keep a lead or whatever. You know. This is match play, as every hole is a new opportunity, a new match.

Speaker 4:

Pretty well, I mean even even being on the home country of Europe. I mean you have the access to, just you know, cut the course how you want, you know you get an advantage for being in your country. So and in France parent was it in Paris, they played in France right 2018 yeah. I mean, like I was watching a video the other day, how they, you know, dialed in, like you know, the USA team from 125 was so good that they just pinched it in and forced them to not go in that area, you know. So you know, you have control over that in a way. And how long has it been since US is one in 93 Europe? Yeah, like 30 years. So I, yeah, I go ahead, joe. I just think, I just I think it's got Europe written all over it and I think I don't think US should be the favorite on the betting.

Speaker 5:

They're not on the betting. They're on the betting they are but our sportsbook is.

Speaker 4:

You know, america is more sportsbook focus than Europe. So, of course, because they're gonna get their money. You know, yeah, I, but I'm placing $37,000 on Europe tomorrow, so let's take it I watch the.

Speaker 2:

I watch the Marco Simone golf digest tour twice, yeah, and honestly they can set it up in their favor, but I don't think it'll be in their favor. That golf course is wines and cuts and you know I. You look at some courses and you can see where Hull's kind of Rory favors because he hits the high draw. Same with John Rom with the high fade. But I don't think there's gonna be a much of a setup that's gonna favor US over. Not because I feel that the 21 team had a lot of bombers in it.

Speaker 4:

True, and these aren't all bombers, and this one DJ.

Speaker 2:

Peterson Brooks Finau right, yeah, these ones aren't. You know, a lot of these guys on the USA team aren't necessarily bomb Brian Harman included yeah.

Speaker 1:

I completely agree we were talking about Brian Harman.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you think it. I think when you look at a Brian Harman or even a Max Homer, you know, I think they could ball strike the fuck out of this golf course. And Scott after watching it after watching it twice, I don't think it's necessarily gonna cater to bombers, is gonna cater to the people that put themselves in favorable, favorable positions into the green.

Speaker 4:

Because from what I saw in the 22 times I watched that tour, the second shot, golf course, I think you pair like Scottie with like an incredible putter, like Scottie with like Ricky or like even yeah, I would say you're putting Scottie with because Scottie is like for the year last year he was the striker he was the striker of the year right.

Speaker 1:

So how much? How, in your guys opinion and I'll focus this towards Tray, dan and Jeremy no offense, joe, or to myself, but how much does guys that play two different balls playing alternate shot? How much does that affect them?

Speaker 3:

well, on that level, I think they on that level, I think they've probably been like messing around with that idea a little bit, but I think I think that's a tough thing that a lot of people don't think about, because they know what to expect with the ball that they're playing yeah, that there is probably a little bit of a.

Speaker 1:

You know, because they're both TaylorMade guys, do you?

Speaker 5:

or Ricky's TaylorMade.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's true but Max is titleist. When I'm Clark, he's a titleist guy, isn't he? Or CPXG?

Speaker 3:

I don't think it's a determining factor on pairings, but I think there's probably definitely a little bit of thought put into how shots are going to be different because I mean that's got to be on the alternate shot.

Speaker 1:

You got 160 yard shot into a tight grain and you're used to your ball doing this and you don't know what this ball is going to do.

Speaker 4:

Compared to you, I mean, you probably do yeah, but how deep do they go into it? Like, do they have multiple sets of clubs, like where the loft is like a degree different, or something that you doubt it like for this day, because you're playing? A different ball. Like is it? Could it be that intricate, because you're going to get more spin or less spin. So we change the loft on your 9 iron, or on your driver, or whatever but if you, if you're team off though you're playing your ball. So if you're going to hit the next shot like 125, like, are we going to change your 9 iron?

Speaker 1:

no, I mean, you could change it essentially before a round you could, and Scotty being the great iron player that he is, if he's not a team off, he may say to whoever he's playing with him hit my ball yeah, you could.

Speaker 2:

I mean it's possible, and that's why they spent that week out there for a practice round and I guarantee you all 12 of them hit all the other guys golf balls into every group at least.

Speaker 4:

I would, because they know the pairings. At this point they're going to hit the ball into the green. I'm sure Zach Johnson knows who he's pairing and he's probably told them.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would say you don't, do not mess with the ball yeah, I would say, justin and Jordan are probably going to get paired together. Maybe, and two out of the four matches, maybe even more. Yeah, the more a kawa. Dustin Johnson and 21 was good because they both played TP5 and they both played Taylor made and they both hit a high fade, yeah, or, you know, a fade in general. I don't know. You know. I would say I want to say that Sam Burns and more kawa could be a solid pairing see that and also Scotty D says I'm assuming he's saying no to them bending their clubs yeah, I know. I don't throw in a square strike right, it'd probably snap, wouldn't it would it not holo core technology, I would say is they're not going to they wouldn't change loft, because they know what their club's doing at that loft and these guys are so, so aware and so good at their craft that they could do it with any ball. Yeah, they can adjust. They may have to hit the ball a few more times. They kind of say hey, like you know, the pro v1 is going to go a little bit lower compared to TP5x or pro v1x or the stricts on, and they have the best of the best, like titleists are probably telling them.

Speaker 4:

Your spin is this you're probably going to lose this much, or you're going to gain this much, or whatever it is it's not even titleists doing that they've got launch monitors for that.

Speaker 2:

They will bring their launch monitor on the golf course in a practice round and say, hey, colin, let me borrow your ball and see what kind of spin, what the spin looks like at this one, or whatever but even at this level they could potentially have the engineers of the golf ball there, like the scientists not if it's from that factory in Japan or Taiwan yeah, yes and no.

Speaker 4:

I'm just saying it's a big deal like they go all out. That's basically my point.

Speaker 2:

I completely agree, but at the same time, I feel that they are the best players in the world, arguably 24 of the best players in the world Brian Harmon included damn, you all are shitting on the open champion no, brian Harmon.

Speaker 1:

I was just talking about. You said there's not a lot of bombers on this team and I was like there's one not a bomber on this team.

Speaker 4:

I'm just saying Brian Harmon is included in this.

Speaker 2:

That's all I'm saying no, I completely agree, and I think he could come away with like a 3 in 1 record very possible.

Speaker 4:

I'd love to see Brian Harmon just fucking all out and zero losses people underestimate.

Speaker 2:

Hitting fairways and greens is the name of the game, and that's what he's done his whole career and he's kept a card for how long?

Speaker 5:

and.

Speaker 2:

I think you know. Look what happened.

Speaker 1:

That dude made everything inside of 10 feet at the British show and he's gonna, and when you do that this week you're gonna win a lot, so is there anybody from the 2021 Ryder Cup team that is not on this team that you would swap out for the captain's picks? Dustin Johnson, you would take Dustin Johnson right now.

Speaker 3:

Yes, jeremy athlete. If there was anyone, it would probably be DJ, but also considering Bryson. I know that's not a popular opinion, but, dan, what do you think?

Speaker 6:

Yeah, probably DJ of those groups, but I don't know. I haven't really been following him too much so I don't even know if he's playing well, if he's in good form or what. But yeah, probably DJ.

Speaker 4:

Joe, I think I think you take Sam Burns out and you put Keegan in. That. I mean, we've said that before in the past. I mean I think that's what it is. I mean, obviously, I know there's been a lot of shit on social media this week with Bryson like feeling he got snubbed, or I don't know if he really said he got snubbed, but a lot of people saying he should have been on the team. I think there's an advantage to that, but it's. You know, zach Johnson is in a tough spot in this situation, right Like Brooks. Kepka earned his way into it like hardcore, winning a major this year. So yeah, that's why he picked him, yeah, almost to oh Scott, just because he shot a 58 doesn't mean he gets on the Ryder Cup.

Speaker 1:

Stop it, yeah.

Speaker 4:

So I mean Bryson would not be a bad idea because he's been there before, as well as DJ. I don't think DJ is playing fantastically on live. I don't. I'm not sure.

Speaker 3:

He's won two events. I think one of them is fairly recent.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, but Bryson is on a hot streak, I mean, and it's hard because if you're the captain, like how do you find that peak? You know moment Like Bryson is on a peak moment right now currently, and but he wasn't, you know, he only had one at that point, I think. But I think the biggest snub is Keegan Bradley picking Sam Burns and not picking Keegan, because Sam Burns hasn't played great second half of the year, but Keegan, but he is the match play champion. He is, he is the match play champion.

Speaker 2:

But and I I'm just. I've always been in favor that in a match play tournament you have to pick the match play and less the rest of the year was ass. But yeah, I think Sam Burns I think a Sam Burns last year was a step straca singles match would be solid because they both you know they both can. I've, you know, watching TV and watching the events they both make birdies and bunches and they kind of play a little similar games. That's just one singles match that I would say that could happen. Now let's see so.

Speaker 4:

I think he probably put in like like it was probably like JT or Keegan, right, Because they have that like locker room power, like that fire there, right? So like he probably took JT over Keegan. But since he took JT, he took someone else. If he took Keegan, he who knows who he would have picked in that situation. But I just think JT and like Keegan or like locker room, like I think Keegan would have just killed the energy. You know. He even like let's fucking go, let's do this, and JT is going to provide that a little bit. He's going to provide it, of course, along with bones, bones, knowledge. Of course it's going to be fantastic, but I don't know. I would have loved to see Keegan on this one, because I know he really wanted it. From everything that we've seen, I know he really wanted it and His writer trying to hype him up so he can invite me to play.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, what year was that? What year was that where he they?

Speaker 4:

were where he didn't unpack his.

Speaker 1:

You know I'm a dino, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I think, so I think so. So is that 16? Six.

Speaker 2:

Medina was like 2012 or 2014. 14. I don't remember.

Speaker 3:

I just know he's. I remember. I remember 2010 was the mayhem meltdown.

Speaker 1:

OK so, yeah, OK so 2012 it was at Medina and yeah, that's when Roy was late to the tea time and still won.

Speaker 2:

What did Keegan do?

Speaker 1:

then You're saying too much, bro, You're talking way too. Yeah, Keegan was three and one Mm. Hmm, I would have loved to see him there. Well, and here's a crazy thing too on the Europe side.

Speaker 2:

They didn't pick the Italian open champion who won. They didn't pick the Italian open champion who won at that golf course Monk Maronk. Adrian Maronk.

Speaker 1:

Adrian Maronk. Adrian Maronk.

Speaker 2:

Yeah and he had he finished, he's like top five in the Euro status or Euro to one like three times, or whatever.

Speaker 6:

Europeans are.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Like, and and if you, if you have a guy that won on, you know on the course that you're playing for the Ryder Cup or you know President's Cup that year, like to not go with him is.

Speaker 1:

That's a tough choice. Yeah, he was 11th in the standings for.

Speaker 5:

As you know, he was fifth fifth in the standings Maronk.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because I mean they picked Shane Lowry, which I mean Shane Lowry is a dog Like he can just, he can just drain it from everywhere at some point. But you know, you look at that versus somebody that played like Maronk has this year and won on Marco Simone for the Italian open.

Speaker 1:

Dude, it's. It's crazy looking at the European rankings, because the people that qualified yeah, Rory, John Rom and Robert McIntyre one, two and three. They all had a ton of points, but then you've got four through 14. There was two captain's picks in that and then number 15, 18 and 23 qualified, all with way less points. So it's, it's crazy how playing in PGA tour events in the States helps guys get on the European Ryder Cup team, because Victor Hovland, Terrell Hatton and Matt Patrick that was 15, 18 and 23. And you've got Yannick Paul, Adrian Maronk, Victor Perez, Rasmus Hoshan Gruben, Adrian Otegua, Alexander Bjork all ahead of those guys Points wise. It's crazy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I. I thought that picking Matt Fitzpatrick's brother would have been a good play too, you know.

Speaker 4:

I think so. He's been playing well too. Yeah, really well.

Speaker 2:

And he, you know he qualified for the British Open with that hell of a bunker shot and played well at the British Open. And then, you know, putting the brothers in in a four ball or four sums or all four matches Friday and Saturday would have been kind of fun to see. You know, that kind of that vibe of brothers. I don't mean maybe the Mollinari brothers have done that in the past, but you know I think that'd be cool as hell to play with your brother and writer.

Speaker 4:

I mean, I think that's a good vibe really well, and like know each other really good.

Speaker 1:

I mean, that's, that's my All right, Jerry. What's it? What's the details on the the golf course that they're laying at?

Speaker 3:

It's par 71, just under two 7200 yards, but the views are incredible of Rome A lot of the tourist spots, the historical houses and buildings and the city in the background. It's going to be hard to focus really, I mean, with the views that you're going to be seeing there and stuff you see in paintings and pictures, and it really is incredible.

Speaker 2:

I wasn't thinking about the food and the food.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, food's good too.

Speaker 1:

Here they have pizza. I saw and I didn't know.

Speaker 3:

Fosio was involved in the redesign. Oh, I didn't know.

Speaker 2:

Oh, so that makes sense that definitely looks like a Fosio golf course.

Speaker 4:

I saw something track man posted the other day that said you can play marcos moan on track then now. So I'm hoping for tomorrow night. That's that's where we're playing, because if five iron does not do that, they've they've missed the target.

Speaker 1:

They missed the boat, it'll be next week, probably because it's fresh in your mind.

Speaker 4:

No, I want to know what I shot now. I don't want to play PGA national again or something that we've played 87 times at five iron. Maybe one we can see in the compact down in the countryside with the ID.

Speaker 1:

No, that's right, that's right.

Speaker 2:

So I'm going to come around.

Speaker 1:

Okay, then what has come up with our cloth flopジ where we go to play, like I had like two of my other watches and you'd listen to this afternoon break if it was like a one shot game.

Speaker 2:

I don't know.

Speaker 1:

So we're playing nazi 自由 into" play the n business day class".

Speaker 4:

If you're just lovey, hot că I'm kind of a fan of一直 x I love and you're not playing well like a break can sometimes do well for you.

Speaker 6:

Minimum two weeks. How?

Speaker 1:

long Minimum of time you don't touch the clubs Two weeks seven to ten days. That's a little bit more respectable yeah.

Speaker 2:

I think I think that's worth it Not touching the clubs at all, like like putting like no swings yeah like I'll say you know, after this weekend I feel a little golfed out, not a lot, but a little bit. I don't have any golf plan this weekend, you're not doing mitches. I'm still figuring if I want to pay for it or not. I mean, I won't be playing with either of you guys and I don't know any well anyone else playing.

Speaker 1:

Well, joe can go, so it's me and Dan and Jeremy.

Speaker 2:

Oh shit, let me sign up when we're getting your shit together oh good Lord. But yeah, I would say this past weekend. So he's happy I'm out there. You know, I'll say this when it comes to that kind of thing, I think it's all just depends like you know. You know me, I'm a fucking golf. It's hard man.

Speaker 4:

It's hard. It's hard to not even know.

Speaker 1:

Like I went for an eight and I was strong Jones in this morning to get up and hit club and hit some balls.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would say for someone like myself, it's it typically, says it's it typically seven days, like I remember you know if I'm going on a week long golf trip. It might be two weeks, but I believe when we came back from Pinehurst I probably played golf that next weekend anyway. So it's just who I am. I play golf. What can I say?

Speaker 4:

Well, wait till you go to Bannon next year. It's going to be a little golf you out it will. That will golf you out.

Speaker 2:

I think I'll sign up for a calf massage the next week.

Speaker 4:

I feel like so like I can only play on the weekends, right? So like if I go on a golf trip like until like, if we could, like when we're going to Bannon, we're going to play, like Wednesday morning probably, so I can skip that weekend that's coming up, and then I'll go to the next weekend, so it'll be like a 10 day rotation yeah.

Speaker 2:

I mean especially what our first day at Bandons on Sunday or Monday, sunday, so I imagine Friday or Saturday we're going to get at least one, maybe two rounds in, because I want to play bar run, which I know the four of you do too.

Speaker 4:

Which we did. We did hear I know Scott's listening who has confirmed bar run is sick. We also got double confirmation this weekend, like, oh, you're playing, you're trying to play bar run, don't play it, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So don't forget double.

Speaker 4:

Hex.

Speaker 2:

Hex that we got to get Felipe, yeah, and then Barrels knows a couple guys too. Yeah, it's, it's all I would say. There's guys that I know that if they did a week long golf trip they probably wouldn't play for like a month. Yeah, but for me, for us seven, seven to 10 days.

Speaker 4:

I got to play every 10 days Like I am all fucking start shaking. I don't know if I could go to.

Speaker 1:

I went 12 weeks when I had my surgery Without playing, but I went six weeks without chipping or putting yeah, and I mean stat that was brutal, brutal.

Speaker 4:

I mean, we were just on a golf trip this weekend and Katie's out town this week and I can't play and I'm fucking, I'm stressing out about it, and then she's out next weekend too and I get to figure something out.

Speaker 2:

I Time to call in the parents. Working when I had knee surgery in 2011. I didn't play golf for two years.

Speaker 1:

Oh hell no.

Speaker 2:

But a part of that honestly like part of that was I wasn't able to play probably four to six months after surgery because of rehab and all that, and then a lot of that was just kind of gaining the confidence again to want to play and, of course, much like when I took my break after high school, because I, when I, when I got my car at 16, I didn't play until like I was one. I mean, I might have went to the range a few times, but 16 to 2021, like I didn't play. Just I had no friends that played, and now all those friends that didn't play are all playing golf now. However, that was just. That was just me being young and dumb. I wish I did play and didn't care about anything else like I do now, but yeah it all, it all varies, but I would say seven to 10 days after some kind of golf trip is where it's at, because Like I tell everybody I just love hitting a golf ball and I say all right.

Speaker 1:

Couple of things, couple pieces of business to handle. I want to give everybody an update on my knee because I know so many people are concerned. The knee feels absolutely fantastic. I have my second appointment at Las Vegas Pain Relief Center and give them a shout out 2779 West Horizon Ridge Parkway John Patrick is the guy 702-948-2520. That is not a paid advertisement. That is me telling anybody that is in any kind of pain that you cannot get figured out and the doctors are giving you the run around. Go see this man.

Speaker 2:

I need to go for my shoulder.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm going. I got a second appointment tomorrow. I have been sleeping great. I feel great. I'm no longer in agony as I walk around. So thank you, thank you to them for that and I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Our putting contest, the King of the Green, is open for registration. We have one spot left. Thank you everybody who has signed up for that. I'm going to be November 2nd at Angel Park on the putting course. That's going to be a blast, and I'm going to be out at the media day on Thursday for Shriners. Any of you guys did anybody want to go?

Speaker 4:

Is that next weekend? No, that's this Thursday. This.

Speaker 1:

Thursday Okay, this Thursday from one to two.

Speaker 4:

I definitely want to go. I definitely want to go.

Speaker 6:

Hey, Harry's going to be there, I'm going to be able to chat with Mr Hall about his, or is, auction member for a day.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait to talk about that, and I think that that's it on the business side of things. So, let's, let's, we'll wrap this up with who thinks is going to win the cup. So, jeremy, we're going to start with you.

Speaker 3:

Who you got USA.

Speaker 1:

Dan.

Speaker 6:

I will be cheering for the US, but I think Europe is going to win, of course, Euro, that's ERO.

Speaker 4:

Joseph, I'm with Dan Rootin for US. Europe wins Trey.

Speaker 2:

US 14 and a half to 13 and a half Put the score in.

Speaker 1:

USA with a score and that's. That's too much research we got you. You're in for the point contest You're going to come to.

Speaker 4:

Vegas for the putting contest. Let's go, Scotty.

Speaker 1:

Incredible. Come on, as much as I want the USA team to win, I am going to pick them to win. Ha ha. Sorry, eric Greenlee, I know you don't think it's going to happen, but I suck it, eric that was Trey, that wasn't me, I'm going to go with team USA they. It's been 30 years since they've won over there in Europe and I think 30 more.

Speaker 3:

Is this the first rider cup that has had like next to no involvement of Tiger Woods since.

Speaker 1:

Since he became relevant late 90s 97, 97. I think he's. I think he's in the. I'm sure he's in Zach's ear for sure, but there hasn't been any public Tiger Woods involvement.

Speaker 3:

That seems to be the case Well.

Speaker 2:

I think he's trying to probably keep it that way.

Speaker 1:

He's probably going to step into his teleporting machine and just pop up there and I spy and then pop back out before anybody knows he's gone.

Speaker 2:

Honestly. Tiger's probably going to drive his golf cart over to Michael's MJ's house. They're going to FaceTime them. Give him a few words on a win on Wednesday night.

Speaker 6:

Call it a day.

Speaker 5:

I mean have Michael. Jordan and that fucking log it's he's been there, in the ones on the American ones, on the states.

Speaker 1:

Okay, mj is probably like I'm not flying to Italy for this, sorry.

Speaker 2:

No he's like. I'm going to go take my 80 foot yacht.

Speaker 4:

He has a house there probably, so he's fine.

Speaker 1:

Yeah right, Scotty's calling for a tie. And we hey as much as I don't like the tie. I would be happy because we'd get to retain the cup, but I'd rather beat them no we need winners, winners.

Speaker 6:

I want winners Participation trophies.

Speaker 4:

I want winners.

Speaker 2:

If we, if and when the USA wins, it ain't going to be by much.

Speaker 1:

I hear that. I hear that. When does it come on, Jeremy? We were talking about this beforehand. Is it one in the morning Our time?

Speaker 6:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

That's like the biggest disadvantage.

Speaker 4:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 4:

It's tough.

Speaker 2:

Oh, wednesday night, it should be Thursday night. Well, thursday and Wednesday night, wednesday night, our time.

Speaker 3:

Well, wednesday yeah.

Speaker 1:

Well.

Speaker 3:

Thursday morning at 1am Wednesday night yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, are they playing Thursday, Friday, Saturday?

Speaker 1:

Oh, it's Friday, Saturday, sunday, so it's right on, it's just three days. Sorry, I'm thinking it's Thursday.

Speaker 2:

Friday morning, friday morning, thursday night yeah.

Speaker 1:

All right, good call, thank you.

Speaker 2:

The only disadvantage to living on the West Coast.

Speaker 4:

when it comes to watching Europe, you're all golfed. That's a fail to live.

Speaker 5:

You're trying to get a catty job out there, I think.

Speaker 1:

Scotty D just said. All the winners are on the live tour.

Speaker 4:

Well, we know we're Scats heart lians.

Speaker 1:

Right, good Lord man. All right, joe, let's wrap it up, kill this thing and let everybody get on their merry ways.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I want to give a bunch of shots to everybody. I didn't mention that I met this past weekend. I know some of you are going to be tuning in and we appreciate it. Obviously, Drew, that's Trace Homie. August covers, August covers, right.

Speaker 2:

Speaker 4:

I know there's so many people that I'm going to forget, but Shout out to everyone that tuned in Jameson from Blind Squirrel Golf Go, check out Blind Squirrel Golf. He was. He reaps Sean Kingston. He loves beautiful girls. I know he listened to last week's episode, so thank you. I hope you enjoyed that concert. I can't wait to see all you guys again. Tell your friends we appreciate the support and have a great Ryder Cup. Y'all it's going to be. It's going to be a good one. We got a sleeper team in Europe and I think I think we're going down this year, but I hope not. And until next week, man, we're here every single week. We record live on Mondays at 8 30 pm Pacific.

Speaker 1:

I forgot one thing, Joe.

Speaker 4:

Killed my outro.

Speaker 1:

I know, but this is important. This is a pump that breaks. So I got in a little trouble from a private country club in the southwest part of the valley, got a little slap on the wrist and I have not been able to promote or raffle the way I wanted to. It doesn't mean that it's not still happening. It is still happening. All you have to do is send us a message on Instagram and I will tell you how you can get in the raffle or back in the studio and you can find out all the details there. But I think we have 20, maybe 18 to 20 people signed up for it so far. So if you get in it, the odds are good and join Jeremy, joe and myself at it so high in December. It's going to be an amazing day and you can be a part of it To enter. Yeah, all right, joe yeah.

Speaker 3:

I can't wait for that.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, you heard that, $20. We're not supposed to say the number, are we not? Okay?

Speaker 1:

I'll edit that I didn't say that.

Speaker 4:

Hit us up if you want to play so high, for with us. So since Matt gave me some time, I'm going to just shout out some names Barrels Doug, the Colonel of the Cove, jeremy Keniston, jacob Mitch, tyler Woods, brent Logan Gazz, golf Tools great photographer Go check them out. Jensen Hex, you have to send.

Speaker 1:

Cameron invoice for all this advertising?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, no no, no invoices needed. These guys are great, they love golf, man. But, yeah, tell all your friends we're here every single week, we're talking golf and we're talking shit to each other and we appreciate you listening and we'll see you next week. Till then, friends, later, later.
