Golf trips aren't just about the courses—they're about the journey, the unexpected discoveries, and the stories you'll tell forever. Our recent expedition through America's heartland delivered all this and more as we ventured through South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa to play some of the most talked-about new courses in golf.

The adventure took us from Dakota Dunes, where we attempted (and failed) to drive balls across the Missouri River, to the nearly mythical Landman Golf Club—perhaps the hardest public tee time to secure in America. Navigating dirt roads through endless cornfields, we discovered a golf course that encourages creativity above all else, where the infamous "Landman Bounce" had us aiming at seemingly absurd targets to let the land work its magic. We invented "Farm," a putting game that might become your new favorite way to spend time on the practice green with friends.

Our journey continued to Tatanka on Native American land (complete with "ditch weed" growing throughout the property) and culminated at The Prairie Club, where the Pines and Dunes courses sparked heated debates about which deserved the higher ranking. Throughout it all, we encountered small-town America at its most authentic—from gas station treasures to our first taste of Runzas, the regional delicacy that had us stopping multiple times for more. With nearly 1,000 miles logged in five days and eight rounds played, this trip reminded us why golf travel creates memories that last a lifetime.

What's your dream golf destination? Have you explored America's heartland courses? We'd love to hear about your own discoveries and adventures as we continue our endless pursuit of golf's hidden treasures.

Thank you everybody for tuning in to this week's show.

00:00:35.667 --> 00:00:41.232
Been on a little hiatus, a little call trip action going on, so we haven't exactly been around.

00:00:41.232 --> 00:00:44.200
Thank you for all those that have been following us on YouTube.

00:00:44.200 --> 00:00:52.585
I've been posting a lot of stories on there, trying to get our followers to increase so we can make this show even better.

00:00:52.585 --> 00:00:55.122
Slowly we're getting there, so thank you for that.

00:00:55.122 --> 00:01:00.488
I also want to thank Garson Grips, proud sponsor of the Chasing Daylight podcast.

00:01:00.488 --> 00:01:08.924

00:01:08.924 --> 00:01:12.462
And if you go to the website and you're interested in purchasing a grip, use our code.

00:01:12.462 --> 00:01:14.787
It's on the screen right now daylight 15.

00:01:14.787 --> 00:01:17.939
Save yourself 15 on any grip order that you place.

00:01:17.939 --> 00:01:23.587
We love our garson grips great and fantastic and we use them a lot.

00:01:25.010 --> 00:01:28.795
Yeah, so, uh, we got a lot to talk about this week.

00:01:28.795 --> 00:01:37.019
Uh, of course, we were in uh, the midwest, in south dakota, nebraska, iowa, denver or colorado, even for a little bit.

00:01:37.019 --> 00:01:46.594
Yeah and nowhere yeah, absolutely middle of freaking, nowhere America it runs a country.

00:01:47.060 --> 00:01:48.346
It was runs a country, guys.

00:01:49.284 --> 00:01:51.060
It's a wild part of the country.

00:01:51.060 --> 00:01:53.909
If you have never been there, I highly recommend it.

00:01:53.909 --> 00:02:00.028
Personally, don't understand how a lot of people live out there, but different strokes for different folks.

00:02:00.028 --> 00:02:04.852
I'm a city boy so I'm going to have that kind of demeanor.

00:02:04.852 --> 00:02:16.502
Beautiful country, very different than what we experience around here very bug heavy yeah, so we're gonna talk about, uh, joe's uh problem with bugs.

00:02:17.104 --> 00:02:17.906
Uh, the golf courses.

00:02:17.906 --> 00:02:23.463
We played people, we saw places, we visited things we saw it was wild time.

00:02:23.463 --> 00:02:26.640
Uh, we got a vgn event this weekend out of coyote springs.

00:02:26.640 --> 00:02:28.024
We can touch on that if we want to.

00:02:28.024 --> 00:02:29.987
Rory had a great comeback.

00:02:29.987 --> 00:02:34.286
Uh, you know from behind win at the irish open, so that was fun to watch that.

00:02:34.286 --> 00:02:36.330
Uh, we're gonna be giving this away later.

00:02:37.923 --> 00:02:56.507
It's right here shout out the homie payment failed yeah, payment failed sirens in the chat sirens in the chat, for that right there also shout out 13 brewing shout out beds, let's go that is a cobra one length, 60 degree, with a kbs c taper 110 regular flex shaft.

00:02:56.507 --> 00:02:59.532
It is one length, so it's long it feels like a four iron.

00:02:59.552 --> 00:03:01.685
That's a sandwich, did you?

00:03:02.306 --> 00:03:11.807
did you watch, uh, my video, my promo video, where it's like a brand new cobra the, the ai audio.

00:03:11.807 --> 00:03:20.118
I said I said cleveland when I was recording it and it was like you know it takes a couple takes to get it right and I'm like I'm not doing this again.

00:03:20.158 --> 00:03:23.066
So I just went into ai and I fix it.

00:03:23.066 --> 00:03:24.689
So that was funny.

00:03:24.689 --> 00:03:26.294
We got you.

00:03:26.294 --> 00:03:29.322
We'll be giving that away later on in the show.

00:03:29.322 --> 00:03:31.927
So how to enter this is important.

00:03:31.927 --> 00:03:34.413
So we're live on youtube.

00:03:34.413 --> 00:03:37.662
Uh, over or below, however, you guys are watching this.

00:03:37.662 --> 00:03:38.645
You can leave a comment.

00:03:38.645 --> 00:03:47.332
Uh, comments, we, you know, we can share them on air like this and, uh, if, if you a comment, you're entered.

00:03:47.332 --> 00:03:48.643
That's all it is.

00:03:48.643 --> 00:03:49.626
That's all you have to do.

00:03:49.626 --> 00:03:56.560
Interact with us, leave a comment and sometime during the show we will pull a name.

00:03:56.560 --> 00:04:05.971
We have a random name generator for people that have left comments, only here, only on this feed, right now.

00:04:05.971 --> 00:04:13.447
So if we do pull your name, you've got to be live in the chat with us and you have to respond back.

00:04:13.447 --> 00:04:14.924
You respond back.

00:04:14.924 --> 00:04:21.471
Congrats, you've won yourself a brand new wedge just for watching YouTube.

00:04:21.550 --> 00:04:22.091
Interacting.

00:04:22.091 --> 00:04:23.887
It's the same rules as whatnot.

00:04:23.887 --> 00:04:29.302
Basically, yeah, get in the Gibby.

00:04:29.322 --> 00:04:29.985
Yeah get, get in.

00:04:29.985 --> 00:04:32.555
All you gotta do is leave a comment right over there, wherever.

00:04:32.656 --> 00:04:38.552
Wherever it is on your screen, it's somewhere on your screen I gotta say, is jill's an asshole or dan's drinking water, or?

00:04:39.081 --> 00:04:43.028
yeah, right there, look right, boom, like hey there, davy's baby, he's in, he's in, he's in.

00:04:43.028 --> 00:04:44.511
Shout out, davy, he's in.

00:04:44.531 --> 00:04:45.892
Shout out Davy does it on whatnot.

00:04:45.892 --> 00:04:46.754
Go follow my man Davy.

00:04:46.754 --> 00:04:50.709
He gave away a long neck tonight and that thing was sick.

00:04:50.709 --> 00:04:51.752
I wish I won it.

00:04:51.752 --> 00:04:54.528
Old school Scotty Cameron pro platinum.

00:04:54.528 --> 00:04:58.326
I was hoping to get it, but Davy is the man.

00:04:58.326 --> 00:05:00.009
Love Davy.

00:05:00.009 --> 00:05:01.874
Davy does it, do's in it.

00:05:02.420 --> 00:05:04.408
There's a lot of comments that pop on in here.

00:05:04.408 --> 00:05:07.822
So there's a lot of comments that pop on in here.

00:05:07.822 --> 00:05:10.853
Uh, I'm good at catching them, joe's good at catching them, but if we miss something, don't be bashful.

00:05:10.853 --> 00:05:11.254
Repost it again.

00:05:11.254 --> 00:05:19.723
Uh, we will throw them up here and and I know, for people that tune into the audio version of the podcast, that may be a little annoying because you don't know what we're talking about.

00:05:19.723 --> 00:05:20.987
So we'll try to.

00:05:20.987 --> 00:05:24.485
You know, hey, davy with the comment, get in and we'll try to read the comments.

00:05:24.485 --> 00:05:31.146
So if it seems a little redundant, if you're watching, we do that so people that aren't watching can actually understand what the hell is going on.

00:05:31.146 --> 00:05:37.928
Because we actually do get people that listen on the podcast yeah, the actual podcast that goes out occasionally.

00:05:37.928 --> 00:05:42.766
So, all right, this is episode, what Episode of what?

00:05:42.827 --> 00:05:43.048
What are?

00:05:43.069 --> 00:05:50.459
we on 343 343, we got seven more till 350.

00:05:50.459 --> 00:05:50.935
It's basketball.

00:05:50.935 --> 00:05:51.843
It's crazy, we're, we're getting there, we're getting there.

00:05:51.843 --> 00:05:55.514
Hey, also a shout out las vegas golf super store, the golf stop, uh, and roars golf.

00:05:55.514 --> 00:05:57.637
All those people that are supporting us, thank you so much.

00:05:57.637 --> 00:06:04.182
Uh, atomic golf, uh, they're doing the joel's doing the player of the year trophies again for us this year.

00:06:04.182 --> 00:06:07.230
So, uh, thank you to him for his support.

00:06:07.230 --> 00:06:10.189
He had a bunch of stuff at land man, bunch of ball markers out there.

00:06:11.201 --> 00:06:14.665
So, yeah, I swear, do you want to start with this?

00:06:14.665 --> 00:06:16.788
And, dan, I'm going to force you to interact with this.

00:06:16.788 --> 00:06:24.113
I'm, I know, whoever came up with the idea that golf had to be played with four people only.

00:06:24.113 --> 00:06:30.180
I hated that this past weekend because there's no reason Dan shouldn't have been with us.

00:06:30.180 --> 00:06:32.084
The pace of play.

00:06:32.084 --> 00:06:33.569
We only had an issue, I think.

00:06:33.569 --> 00:06:36.079
What one time yeah only one time.

00:06:36.079 --> 00:06:42.007
That was at Tatanka, and once that was resolved they were playing at 7-7.

00:06:42.180 --> 00:06:43.004
No, Dunes was slow.

00:06:43.004 --> 00:06:43.788
Yeah, Dunes was slow.

00:06:44.834 --> 00:06:45.740
Yeah, Dunes was slow.

00:06:46.120 --> 00:06:49.067
Yeah, you're right, you tell the back line.

00:06:49.107 --> 00:06:49.528
It seemed like.

00:06:50.540 --> 00:06:56.353
But there's no reason he shouldn't have been out there with us, because, man, you were missed.

00:06:56.353 --> 00:06:57.336
You were missed.

00:06:57.838 --> 00:06:58.901
Yeah, but.

00:06:59.403 --> 00:07:02.632
I do recommend anybody going on a golf trip with Cliff.

00:07:03.442 --> 00:07:04.396
Cliff is the man.

00:07:04.396 --> 00:07:06.107
Yeah, cliff, recommend anybody going on a golf trip with cliff.

00:07:06.127 --> 00:07:06.750
Cliff is the man, yeah, cliff.

00:07:06.750 --> 00:07:09.966
I felt like I was on a break because I didn't have to talk.

00:07:09.966 --> 00:07:16.221
I'm a, I'm a yakker, I, I, I don't shut up and I'm sure everybody knows that about me.

00:07:16.221 --> 00:07:22.449
I I'll talk your ear off if you let me, and uh, yeah, cliff kind of has that in control.

00:07:22.449 --> 00:07:28.586
So it was nice and he's a digger, he wants information.

00:07:29.620 --> 00:07:40.386
I felt like I was in the BetterHelp app for about two hours, on our way to Valentine to go, and the payment failed and we were digging deep, we were getting into some soul.

00:07:40.386 --> 00:07:42.586
Not soul golf but into the soul.

00:07:43.160 --> 00:07:47.110
Jeremy was like just I couldn't believe it.

00:07:47.110 --> 00:08:01.502
I was just just sitting back going, wow, I haven't heard jeremy talk this much about you know, we know each other, we all know each other pretty well and there's just I mean, but cliff doesn't know us as well because we're not around cliff as much.

00:08:01.502 --> 00:08:04.607
So cliff had a lot of questions and he brought up questions.

00:08:04.607 --> 00:08:11.016
I never thought to ask, but I'm glad he did, because I found out shit about jeremy that I had no idea.

00:08:11.016 --> 00:08:13.786
Yeah, which is pretty cool, I told him.

00:08:13.786 --> 00:08:21.437
I said it was like watching a behind the scenes of mtv cribs episode, because I found out so much shit about him that I had no idea about.

00:08:21.437 --> 00:08:27.822
So we'll have to fill dan in on all that stuff yeah yeah, that was interesting, for sure it was pretty awesome.

00:08:27.882 --> 00:08:29.127
Cliff is very entertaining.

00:08:29.487 --> 00:08:41.153
He made the drive also I cliff became a better golfer after this trip he did absolutely believe it, 100 percent shut up.

00:08:41.192 --> 00:08:43.280
Brand man, you, you in the chat, let's go.

00:08:43.280 --> 00:08:46.710
But cliff, definitely, he was like I.

00:08:46.710 --> 00:08:59.363
I get it when we were playing, I think on the final round, because I rode with cliff on the final round, right, yeah, I did, yes, and he was like he's like because he was striping it fun around and he's like he was, he's like.

00:08:59.363 --> 00:08:59.964
I see it.

00:08:59.964 --> 00:09:04.356
I was like it's in you, bro, it's in you 100, it's in you, bro, it's in you 100%, it's in you, we all saw it.

00:09:05.019 --> 00:09:10.366
Oh yeah, it's always been in him, but he's like, I get it.

00:09:10.366 --> 00:09:12.673
You know which was cool.

00:09:14.123 --> 00:09:18.091
I told him one of the biggest things that has helped me get better is playing with you guys.

00:09:18.091 --> 00:09:22.931
You know, seeing the better golfers being able to pick your brain during stuff.

00:09:22.931 --> 00:09:27.524
I mean, it's helped me so much yeah so don't be.

00:09:27.524 --> 00:09:28.687
Don't be.

00:09:28.687 --> 00:09:31.552
If you're a beginner or you're, you know, trying to get better.

00:09:31.552 --> 00:09:33.162
You're a high handicap player.

00:09:33.162 --> 00:09:35.450
Don't be afraid to play with a better player.

00:09:35.450 --> 00:09:39.547
They will help you in ways you just don't understand dude.

00:09:39.567 --> 00:09:39.768
That's.

00:09:39.768 --> 00:09:42.139
It's one of the things I go back to when I used to skateboard.

00:09:42.139 --> 00:09:55.428
Right, I used to like I used to skate at one of the most well-known skate parks in town, when I I mean years and years ago, but I'd be like standing on a rails, like I'd run a I want to try this and they'd be like just fucking do it, just fucking go.

00:09:55.428 --> 00:10:05.821
And he was way better than me, but he pushed me to go do it and it's.

00:10:05.821 --> 00:10:06.462
It's just one of those things.

00:10:06.462 --> 00:10:06.583
It's.

00:10:06.583 --> 00:10:09.033
It's with everything in life, you surround yourself with people that are better than you at something.

00:10:09.033 --> 00:10:12.905
You're gonna learn and grow because of them, the people you surround yourself with.

00:10:12.905 --> 00:10:15.972
I mean it's, it's gonna happen.

00:10:15.972 --> 00:10:20.643
Yeah, all percent, whatever all right.

00:10:20.823 --> 00:10:23.789
So the trip started with.

00:10:23.789 --> 00:10:27.842
We landed in Omaha Massive airport.

00:10:27.842 --> 00:10:33.188
If you've ever been there, huge, huge, huge airport, a very small airport.

00:10:33.340 --> 00:10:45.346
It was easy to get in and out of, didn't have any issues, bags were there and Cliff got the rental car and we jetted out and we should have got the runs of first off.

00:10:45.346 --> 00:10:49.203
But we didn't know how remote the locations were.

00:10:49.203 --> 00:10:58.447
But we headed straight up to uh, south dakota, dakota dunes, shout out beds, shout out beds, shout out beds.

00:10:58.447 --> 00:11:00.311
Wait, austin had a comment here.

00:11:00.311 --> 00:11:02.441
I have to golf with better golfers.

00:11:02.441 --> 00:11:04.304
That's literally how I started and learned every single time.

00:11:04.304 --> 00:11:06.970
I'm out with embarrassing at times, but that's golf, 100 percent.

00:11:07.591 --> 00:11:11.745
And no one cares all you gotta do is keep up.

00:11:12.065 --> 00:11:13.327
All you gotta do is keep up.

00:11:13.327 --> 00:11:18.383
Fix your ball marks, fill your divots, break your bunkers and keep up.

00:11:18.383 --> 00:11:20.648
Nobody cares what you shoot.

00:11:20.648 --> 00:11:23.433
You say it all the time hey, beds.

00:11:24.022 --> 00:11:29.586
Shannon says it's called sewer city and beds want to know how bad did sue city smell, do you recall I?

00:11:30.187 --> 00:11:34.020
don't recall a scent no, it just smelled thick to me.

00:11:34.020 --> 00:11:34.783
It just smelled.

00:11:34.802 --> 00:11:42.866
It was that they, they were playing public enemy in the public speakers on on the main street.

00:11:42.866 --> 00:11:53.274
That we're on that's right, I forgot about I we were walking and they, they, they have speakers on the light post and they're playing music and public enemy was playing and we were like what is?

00:11:53.315 --> 00:11:54.942
going on yeah it's Susie.

00:11:55.303 --> 00:11:57.114
Yeah, people were dragging the street.

00:11:57.114 --> 00:11:58.760
I mean it was the Friday night, hey it was.

00:11:58.760 --> 00:12:05.552
It was a throwback to you know a time gone past, because you can't do that shit here.

00:12:05.552 --> 00:12:09.567
Yeah, I didn't think it smelled.

00:12:09.567 --> 00:12:11.940
The hotel we stayed at was called the Warrior.

00:12:12.481 --> 00:12:15.046
It was very classy, very nice spot.

00:12:17.164 --> 00:12:27.586
A buddy of Bed's suggested we go down to the Deer Diver or Diver Deer, something like that Food was awesome Diving elk.

00:12:27.586 --> 00:12:31.725
Food was incredible.

00:12:31.725 --> 00:12:35.205
I had one of the best chicken salads I've ever had in my life.

00:12:35.205 --> 00:12:36.249
It was incredible.

00:12:36.249 --> 00:12:41.731
You guys had some burgers Brussels sprouts Fantastic.

00:12:41.731 --> 00:12:43.981
Some chili peppers.

00:12:43.981 --> 00:12:45.288
Fantastic, fantastic, some chili peppers.

00:12:47.460 --> 00:12:49.729
So yeah, it was, it was solid.

00:12:51.585 --> 00:12:52.227
We weren't there long.

00:12:54.303 --> 00:12:56.028
We were in a different place every night.

00:12:56.490 --> 00:12:56.650
Yeah.

00:12:56.650 --> 00:13:05.950
So we got to Dakota Dunes and I don't know it was weird because I didn't know what to expect.

00:13:05.950 --> 00:13:09.629
We're at a private country club in South Dakota.

00:13:09.629 --> 00:13:13.471
It's right in the corner of South Dakota, iowa and Nebraska.

00:13:13.471 --> 00:13:21.187
It's a real tight little area, a small little point in South Dakota and I wasn't sure what to expect.

00:13:21.187 --> 00:13:25.528
Beautiful, the golf course was beautiful, it was in fantastic condition.

00:13:25.528 --> 00:13:27.202
The everything on it was great.

00:13:27.202 --> 00:13:32.652
It was, you know really fast bent greens um, but it did.

00:13:32.772 --> 00:13:38.671
It didn't feel like a country club you know, and and cliff yeah, cliff has a.

00:13:39.192 --> 00:13:44.110
Uh, you know he's very hypercritical about certain things, but that's just the way he is, he, he, he notices things that I don't notice.

00:13:44.110 --> 00:13:48.687
Like he's very hypercritical about certain things, but that's just the way he is, he, he, he notices things that I don't notice like he's.

00:13:48.687 --> 00:13:50.451
You know, we weren't greeted when we got there.

00:13:50.451 --> 00:13:52.144
We had to find our.

00:13:52.144 --> 00:13:54.150
We had to hop in our own carts and load our own carts.

00:13:54.150 --> 00:13:56.500
Um, it was, you know, the.

00:13:56.500 --> 00:13:58.443
There was no direction from where to go.

00:13:58.443 --> 00:14:00.187
Uh, the, the.

00:14:00.207 --> 00:14:05.609
I mean, the people were nice, yeah the signs sucked that you guys need fucking signs.

00:14:05.609 --> 00:14:08.366
Okay, have signs on your fucking golf course.

00:14:08.366 --> 00:14:13.811
I'll just say that Look, have signs on your golf, fucking course.

00:14:13.811 --> 00:14:18.528
If it's twisting and winding, you got to have fucking signs.

00:14:18.528 --> 00:14:20.432
Cc or not.

00:14:20.432 --> 00:14:22.485
Have fucking signs, all right.

00:14:24.149 --> 00:14:24.730
Easy as that.

00:14:24.730 --> 00:14:25.183
Let's see.

00:14:25.183 --> 00:14:27.461
What Austin said is that loss of smell is covid symptoms.

00:14:27.461 --> 00:14:28.142
Better get checked.

00:14:28.142 --> 00:14:34.613
Uh might be have to be a new hidden greens shirt.

00:14:34.633 --> 00:14:36.822
This is have fucking signs on your golf course.

00:14:36.822 --> 00:14:43.427
If it's yeah, if it's a winding road, have fucking signs yeah, that that was.

00:14:43.509 --> 00:14:44.392
We ran into that at.

00:14:44.392 --> 00:14:46.859
Uh, was it the rim or chaparral pine?

00:14:46.859 --> 00:14:48.783
I think chaparral pines had an issue.

00:14:48.844 --> 00:14:49.625
No, it was.

00:14:49.684 --> 00:14:58.616
It was chaparral yeah but uh, dakota dunes was sick and we don't get bent grass greens very often and every green, all the greens.

00:14:58.616 --> 00:15:02.966
We played the entire trip was incredible and it was an absolute treat.

00:15:02.966 --> 00:15:05.450
It was very thick, um.

00:15:05.450 --> 00:15:17.345
But uh, I think, I think we played dakota dunes and we were like so hyped on just being on a golf trip and then we got in the car and cliff was like guys, it wasn't that good.

00:15:17.345 --> 00:15:20.229
I mean, it was great.

00:15:20.229 --> 00:15:22.152
Right, it's, it's a, it's a country club.

00:15:22.152 --> 00:15:26.457
You know, south dakota border with nebraska, iowa.

00:15:26.457 --> 00:15:27.480
It was great.

00:15:27.480 --> 00:15:35.143
It really was a sick ass golf course, but he's like just hold your horses a little bit, yeah, so shout out, cliff.

00:15:35.143 --> 00:15:37.148
He, he like reeled me back a little bit.

00:15:37.568 --> 00:15:38.532
He does reel it back in.

00:15:38.532 --> 00:15:45.331
He does reel it back in, he uh, you know the the pro shop wasn't great, it was okay, it wasn't great.

00:15:45.331 --> 00:15:49.624
Uh, where the restaurant was was kind of weird to get to it.

00:15:49.624 --> 00:15:57.744
Uh, we found the snack bar which, yeah, have a fucking sign, have a fucking sign, signs guys easy.

00:15:58.465 --> 00:16:01.528
The, the range was, was good, had a nice big chipping green.

00:16:01.528 --> 00:16:03.850
Um, it was muggy as hell.

00:16:03.850 --> 00:16:10.644
Um, we found out that the, the bugs hit a little bit different in in the midwest.

00:16:10.644 --> 00:16:15.474
I, I, I was fine, I, I didn't get, I don't know what it is.

00:16:15.474 --> 00:16:17.244
There's, you know, something in my blood?

00:16:17.244 --> 00:16:19.230
It's the hard water I've been drinking.

00:16:19.230 --> 00:16:27.340
Well, no, because joe's been out here as well that long same we're the same, yeah, the same, yeah, but the bugs didn't bother me as much as everybody else.

00:16:27.379 --> 00:16:28.471
They ate me, fucking live.

00:16:28.471 --> 00:16:30.206
They ate me alive.

00:16:30.206 --> 00:16:31.924
I think I'm finally healed.

00:16:31.924 --> 00:16:36.765
Finally there's still one right there.

00:16:36.765 --> 00:16:39.765
They ate me alive and shout out Shannon.

00:16:39.765 --> 00:16:48.871
He's like the only thing that will keep those fuckers away is the DEET, and we bought DEET in some random small town and they still ate my ass up.

00:16:48.871 --> 00:16:56.009
So it's gotta be my pheromones or my blood, but it was a great golf course.

00:16:56.009 --> 00:17:05.853
We got to try and hit golf balls across the Missouri river, which I learned about in like seventh grade in geography class, and never saw that coming and nobody made it close.

00:17:05.853 --> 00:17:07.181
It's very deep.

00:17:07.803 --> 00:17:16.286
I think the yard, I think the yard is off because I hammered mine and it was like 150 yards short oh, yeah, you you smoked it.

00:17:16.306 --> 00:17:24.990
I mean, I thought I thought you were hitting trees I I thought that was for sure hitting trees and it came up like woefully short.

00:17:24.990 --> 00:17:32.750
It sounded like there's zero chance I make it, yeah, but Cliff pounded his too and it came up short.

00:17:32.750 --> 00:17:36.109
So I mean that was fun, we had a good time, it was a good course.

00:17:36.109 --> 00:17:39.549
Dan, riddle us with your questions.

00:17:39.549 --> 00:17:43.230
I know you're dying to ask about Dakota Duke.

00:17:45.300 --> 00:17:47.426
Well, I kind of have questions.

00:17:47.426 --> 00:17:49.500
I want to hear more about all the courses.

00:17:49.500 --> 00:17:50.723
Okay, yeah, okay.

00:17:50.743 --> 00:17:53.971
So yeah, we go through so dakota dunes, we did dakota dunes.

00:17:53.971 --> 00:18:04.426
We stayed in downtown, uh, sioux city, at a great hotel, the warrior, fantastic rooftop rooftop bar, and, uh, we had some old fashions up there, which was fantastic.

00:18:04.426 --> 00:18:07.263
Then we went to the diving deer, had some great food.

00:18:07.263 --> 00:18:13.315
Uh, yeah, matt party pooper did not drink anything, which is fine.

00:18:13.315 --> 00:18:16.467
He's doing his thing and we respect it and love it.

00:18:16.467 --> 00:18:23.970
Uh, then the next morning we went to floyd park, which was a par three executive course, which was probably it was.

00:18:24.391 --> 00:18:27.944
It was more than par three yeah, it was, but it was executive.

00:18:27.944 --> 00:18:44.155
Right, we call executive, it was executive, but it was green as fuck it was holy moly no, and greens oh, that greens one of the one of the coolest old school clubhouse.

00:18:44.155 --> 00:18:47.180
Like muni spot clubhouse chairs.

00:18:47.180 --> 00:18:53.294
Old school super sick one dude it was cool, it's fun it was really cool.

00:18:54.236 --> 00:18:55.459
The, uh, let me pull up.

00:18:55.459 --> 00:19:02.751
I'll pull up a picture that uh, we had on the, if I can, but man, it was, it was, it was sick.

00:19:02.811 --> 00:19:08.221
It reminded me like just some like classic, like lodge green, golf course, shit.

00:19:08.221 --> 00:19:09.124
And it was dope.

00:19:09.124 --> 00:19:14.976
And we played, uh uh, a game called pinehurst which shut out snga.

00:19:14.976 --> 00:19:17.923
I saw on one of their emails we played that game there.

00:19:17.923 --> 00:19:19.786
That was a lot of fun.

00:19:20.385 --> 00:19:28.556
Um, yeah, that was the the kind of like a scramble, shamble type thing and uh, yeah, it was.

00:19:28.576 --> 00:19:32.066
Uh, yeah, it was it was fun it was.

00:19:32.066 --> 00:19:45.508
It was very slow going and we had to get to the land man, so we skipped like 10 10, 11, 12 and 13 13 so and then, but 10 and 14 were t's were right next to each other, so we're like let's just go to 14.

00:19:45.508 --> 00:19:50.548
And then we stopped at one of the dopest gas stations I've ever seen in my entire life.

00:19:50.548 --> 00:19:52.634
What was it called, I forget.

00:19:53.240 --> 00:19:56.709
First off, as we're leaving the parking lot, Cliff cut in front of somebody.

00:19:56.709 --> 00:20:09.105
Oh yeah, and we almost got in a wreck and they followed us to the gas station and then they waited in the parking lot and I was like what?

00:20:09.125 --> 00:20:10.367
is what is this person?

00:20:10.428 --> 00:20:14.624
doing, you know, because it was, it was, it was a little weird.

00:20:14.743 --> 00:20:16.188
There were some dicey roads right there.

00:20:16.208 --> 00:20:23.690
Yeah, cliff just kept going and yeah, but that groceries that it was a grocery store in the size of a convenience store.

00:20:24.230 --> 00:20:37.287
It it was sick they had it was like shop quick or like quick and go, or they had east sandals, they had jerky, they had pizzas, they had produce fucking meat like pounds of ground beef.

00:20:37.287 --> 00:20:41.015
That place was dope yeah, that was that.

00:20:41.255 --> 00:20:42.685
Iowa brought it right there.

00:20:42.685 --> 00:20:45.099
They will have to figure out what that place was called.

00:20:45.099 --> 00:20:46.928
They had dead billionaire cans.

00:20:46.928 --> 00:20:54.326
They had, I mean, everything Dan would want, just like pounds of ground beef ready to cook, dead billionaire cans.

00:20:54.326 --> 00:20:56.507
And then Dan said they had eggs.

00:20:56.507 --> 00:20:59.523
Dan would have loved that place.

00:21:00.846 --> 00:21:03.070
Let's see it was called Quick Star Quick.

00:21:03.090 --> 00:21:04.693
Shop, quick Shop, quick Shop.

00:21:07.579 --> 00:21:09.646
Oh, we saw a bunch of coming goes, but yeah, I'm gonna go.

00:21:09.646 --> 00:21:12.916
No, it's not quick start I'm looking at the map right now.

00:21:12.916 --> 00:21:13.859
It's quick start.

00:21:13.859 --> 00:21:17.968
It's on the corner of glenn and lewis boulevard.

00:21:18.269 --> 00:21:21.094
Well, shannon, I guess shannon the native is wrong.

00:21:21.094 --> 00:21:25.457
He said quick shop yeah quick star.

00:21:25.497 --> 00:21:26.160
That's not, that's right.

00:21:26.180 --> 00:21:45.190
It reminded me of wow, okay, yeah, dude, that place was sick I, I dude I with that place that place was dope, it was dope, yeah, yeah, I much props to that uh, is that where we bought hundreds of dollars Worth of lottery tickets?

00:21:45.269 --> 00:21:45.770
And we all lost.

00:21:45.770 --> 00:21:50.099
It was that one billion.

00:21:50.099 --> 00:21:51.007
What are you supposed to do?

00:21:52.730 --> 00:21:53.660
Well, somebody won in Texas.

00:21:53.660 --> 00:22:08.531
So from there, after we got done playing, we scurried over to Landman and yeah, this is Joe's new favorite place on the planet.

00:22:09.093 --> 00:22:14.912
Um, he said, fuck, abandon no, I'm, I'm a band in there, but it's close, they got it.

00:22:14.912 --> 00:22:17.181
They need a little more, but yeah yeah, it's.

00:22:17.540 --> 00:22:17.921
Uh, you know.

00:22:17.921 --> 00:22:24.465
We said uh, you know, bandon has a 20-year head start and it's coastal.

00:22:25.405 --> 00:22:40.297
We were driving on dirt roads through cornfields and soy fields and there's a golf course out there somewhere and there's a little sign, it's like a 4x8 sign and it's like an arrow up.

00:22:40.297 --> 00:22:49.644
This way it was just all dirt roads and I mean we probably traveled what?

00:22:49.663 --> 00:23:05.294
five, five miles on just gravel roads, through soy fields and cornfields and uh yeah it did not disappoint yeah, it, uh, it was, it was uh quite an experience and and ditch weed.

00:23:05.314 --> 00:23:07.026
yeah, that's the Tonka brand man.

00:23:07.026 --> 00:23:08.484
Yeah, the Tonka.

00:23:09.361 --> 00:23:12.453
The wild weed growing on the course that was so funny, that was crazy.

00:23:12.453 --> 00:23:13.859
We'll get to that in a second.

00:23:13.859 --> 00:23:23.250
But Landman is unique and we found out kind of in a different way.

00:23:23.250 --> 00:23:32.112
They don't give a shit Because we got done playing and there was plenty of daylight and we're like and cliff wouldn't ask hey, how much is it for a replay?

00:23:32.112 --> 00:23:33.060
Can we go back out?

00:23:33.060 --> 00:23:35.968
And they're like nope no replace.

00:23:36.509 --> 00:23:37.872
There's nobody going off right now.

00:23:37.872 --> 00:23:38.820
The course is wide open.

00:23:38.820 --> 00:23:41.002
We can finish 18 in like two and a half hours.

00:23:41.002 --> 00:23:44.166
Nope, sorry, you got your tea times.

00:23:44.186 --> 00:24:05.327
That's all you get, and uh, but for everyone that's everyone that's listening, so you need to understand like land man dropped their tea times and they sold out of their entire 2025 tea times in one hour, so tea times were bought up, I mean.

00:24:05.327 --> 00:24:11.429
And also we need to understand that we don't know if there was people out there playing or if there was people like playing nine.

00:24:11.429 --> 00:24:14.022
I mean, we don't know right, so we have to.

00:24:14.022 --> 00:24:18.381
I would have loved to replay, but we don't know what's happening behind the scenes.

00:24:18.381 --> 00:24:19.202
Probably not.

00:24:19.202 --> 00:24:32.108
Probably they probably could have let us out for cabals, but it's I mean, it's in high demand and they sold out in one hour for an entire year of their tee times.

00:24:34.740 --> 00:24:35.463
Yeah, it's crazy.

00:24:35.463 --> 00:24:42.662
There's a documentary I shared it on my Instagram stories a while ago or before we left Great documentary about how it came to be.

00:24:42.662 --> 00:24:48.487
And you know they didn't go big right out the gates.

00:24:48.487 --> 00:24:49.281
The golf course is big.

00:24:49.281 --> 00:24:49.767
They didn't the gates.

00:24:49.767 --> 00:25:09.825
The golf course is big, they didn't massive, but everything else is very quaint the the rooms we stayed in, just shout out, shannon shout out, 13 bruin building those cabins, yeah well the cabins were awesome the only thing that we've said that it missed was a TV in the main area Shut up.

00:25:09.865 --> 00:25:14.838
Missed payment failed, we survived we survived.

00:25:15.000 --> 00:25:15.701
Yeah, that was.

00:25:16.222 --> 00:25:17.006
We'll get there though.

00:25:18.056 --> 00:25:21.340
We'll get there.

00:25:21.340 --> 00:25:25.429
So the they have the clubhouse is small, the cabins are small.

00:25:25.429 --> 00:25:29.523
The food truck they have a food truck and a little patio area.

00:25:29.523 --> 00:25:31.982
The range you can Small.

00:25:31.982 --> 00:25:34.202
Small, like eight people max.

00:25:35.234 --> 00:25:39.223
But their clubhouse, let me say, their clubhouse is the sickest pro shop I've ever been in.

00:25:39.223 --> 00:25:45.143
I could only they didn't have a single golf club, it was all Landman, merch.

00:25:45.143 --> 00:25:47.040
Everything I can think of was merch.

00:25:47.080 --> 00:25:48.044
And swag butter covers.

00:25:48.234 --> 00:25:54.026
But the view behind the counter was unbelievable so good being able to stand there clubhouse I've been in.

00:25:54.748 --> 00:26:01.144
That was yeah I, I could see that, that's, that's yeah that's a bold statement cotton.

00:26:01.144 --> 00:26:05.134
It's the most unique, dopest most unique.

00:26:05.134 --> 00:26:08.346
Yeah, it fits perfect with what it was.

00:26:08.346 --> 00:26:27.778
What's so crazy, though and I just thought about this right now is, like the food truck small, the rooms are small, the pro shop is small, every the range is small, but the course is fucking huge yeah like that might be some intent right there, which is I.

00:26:27.939 --> 00:26:28.942
I literally just thought about.

00:26:28.942 --> 00:26:30.747
It's kind of blowing my mind at this moment.

00:26:30.747 --> 00:26:33.482
So you can talk, matt, because I didn't even think of that.

00:26:33.482 --> 00:26:34.484
Shout out, jeremy.

00:26:35.669 --> 00:26:40.018
Yeah, and with the giant huge American flag, yeah, so it's a.

00:26:40.018 --> 00:26:42.404
It it's a different experience.

00:26:42.404 --> 00:26:42.925
You get to pick a.

00:26:42.925 --> 00:26:45.499
You get to pick a song for your walk-up song.

00:26:45.499 --> 00:26:52.189
When you tee off, uh, the starter plays dj and uh, they were cool.

00:26:52.189 --> 00:26:53.375
Uh, that was fun.

00:26:53.375 --> 00:26:56.521
We did the the harmonic intro day two.

00:26:56.521 --> 00:27:00.169
And what a tribe called quest song on on day one.

00:27:02.157 --> 00:27:04.641
Um, we wanted routing, but what's that?

00:27:04.641 --> 00:27:10.230
We wanted, uh, something else, but I can't remember what was the song I.

00:27:10.450 --> 00:27:11.917
I mean there was, it was that's a.

00:27:11.917 --> 00:27:13.521
That was a very pressing issue.

00:27:13.521 --> 00:27:15.227
It was very hard to come up with the song.

00:27:15.227 --> 00:27:19.263
I mean obviously chase the daylight podcast song shut out unwritten.

00:27:19.263 --> 00:27:23.923
Yeah, that was for sure, but you know, dan wasn't there so it didn't make total sense.

00:27:24.767 --> 00:27:40.166
But it's hard to it's hard to really choose a song yeah, it's like I mean especially for four people yeah, you feel like I mean like I feel for, like the baseball players like, or ufc fighters, or mike tyson, like how do you choose your song?

00:27:40.166 --> 00:28:05.598
But they're one person, but we're four people with uh diverse backgrounds and and taste, and uh, yeah, it was, but the only thing that saved it was like it's a speaker, you know it's not playing around the entire place, like no, it's just pointed at the t-box I know I think if they put the speaker all over like that pro shop and they're like like that can get way more.

00:28:05.679 --> 00:28:12.500
Like I really gotta pick a good song yeah, because, like a lot of people are paying attention right now to what we're going off to.

00:28:13.041 --> 00:28:18.638
Yeah, exactly but uh, it's, it's a cool little tidbit that, like you, don't get anywhere else.

00:28:18.638 --> 00:28:28.508
And and that's the thing about landman all the details, all the details yep, there's a the.

00:28:28.607 --> 00:28:29.529
The routing is fun.

00:28:29.529 --> 00:28:32.556
It takes you over some hills, through some hills, over some hills.

00:28:32.556 --> 00:28:34.480
The bunkering is incredible.

00:28:34.480 --> 00:28:38.576
The greens half the, I'd say three quarters of the greens were punched.

00:28:38.576 --> 00:28:42.364
Um, we weren't aware of that, but it wasn't awful.

00:28:42.364 --> 00:28:48.845
Uh, the ones that weren't punched were so good that, you know it kind of made you realize how good it could be.

00:28:48.845 --> 00:28:51.078
But you know, courses have to punch, so it happens.

00:28:51.078 --> 00:29:10.804
Um, it wasn't an aggressive punch, but you know the I don't think it affected our putting to a point where we're like fuck this, you know there's only like three holes really, where it was like pretty deep punches yeah yeah, it's like they did it in in stages because the back end of the course didn't have any or it hadn't been done yet and so it.

00:29:11.365 --> 00:29:15.252
But you know you get that um joe found out quick okay, go ahead.

00:29:15.252 --> 00:29:18.240
I was gonna say joe found out pretty quick about the landman bounce.

00:29:18.240 --> 00:29:27.423
Um, the ground is firm out there and that ball bounces in ways that you have no idea it's going to bounce.

00:29:27.423 --> 00:29:29.106
It's unbelievable.

00:29:29.106 --> 00:29:30.048
The land man bounce.

00:29:30.048 --> 00:29:39.222
Um, the fairways are wide and very forgiving, but if you don't have the right line, don't ever plan on finding your golf ball.

00:29:39.222 --> 00:29:44.757
Yeah, although jeremy did pretty good, you, you found jeremy was.

00:29:44.797 --> 00:29:47.500
Jeremy was out there, though he was getting ate alive by ticks.

00:29:47.721 --> 00:29:48.082
I was.

00:29:48.082 --> 00:29:49.664
I was, I'd probably have a tick.

00:29:52.169 --> 00:30:04.483
Yeah, there was one point where Bob messaged me or text me or something like I know Bob would absolutely love that place.

00:30:04.483 --> 00:30:10.244
Bob West, as creative as he is, that place gives you so much creativity.

00:30:10.244 --> 00:30:16.883
You can bounce it on this hill, you can ride the ball here, but like it, just it.

00:30:16.883 --> 00:30:18.586
It just breeds creativity.

00:30:18.586 --> 00:30:20.209
Like the, the.

00:30:20.308 --> 00:30:39.144
The backstop on 10 is a full-on it's a 60 degree backstop yeah, 60 degree, 40 foot wall backstop and, and the right side it's like a massive ass fucking cereal bowl, but the front is like open.

00:30:39.144 --> 00:30:39.904
It's.

00:30:39.904 --> 00:30:45.881
That place is breeds creativity and I love, I love it and that's.

00:30:45.881 --> 00:30:48.766
It was really fucking cool.

00:30:49.287 --> 00:30:51.200
Yeah, it was cool, it was a good time.

00:30:51.200 --> 00:31:00.224
It wasn't my favorite course that we played, but it is fantastic and I'm absolutely thrilled I got the chance to play it.

00:31:00.224 --> 00:31:05.847
It is one of the hardest public golf course tee times to get in America.

00:31:07.035 --> 00:31:09.105
That's one of the things that you'll see it touted the hardest tee time to get in america.

00:31:09.105 --> 00:31:10.986
Yeah, um, that's one of the things that you see it touted the hardest tea time to get.

00:31:10.986 --> 00:31:14.490
Uh, because of the way they do their tea times.

00:31:14.490 --> 00:31:15.151
They release them.

00:31:15.151 --> 00:31:20.144
I think it's twice, once in november, once in january, and they're gone as soon as they release them.

00:31:20.144 --> 00:31:26.701
So, uh, make sure you're on the email list if you want to play and if you get picked, book it and go.

00:31:26.701 --> 00:31:28.262
Yep, that's all I can say.

00:31:28.262 --> 00:31:29.023
Book it and go.

00:31:30.204 --> 00:31:31.527
I definitely want to get back.

00:31:31.527 --> 00:31:35.411
And they are bringing more stuff to the course.

00:31:36.934 --> 00:31:38.000
Yeah, that's what I was going to talk about next.

00:31:38.000 --> 00:31:38.824
They have a putting course.

00:31:38.824 --> 00:31:40.838
Coming the rooms.

00:31:40.838 --> 00:31:53.580
I don't know if you saw Joe's video, but where the rooms are there's a back deck and they have some farm equipment out and they have a hitting mat and a shag bag and you can hit balls into the into the equipment.

00:31:53.580 --> 00:32:03.192
But that's uh told that it's going to be a putting course and it'll be lighted and that, I think, will be incredible yeah, they need.

00:32:03.372 --> 00:32:09.528
They need one more thing, whether it be I mean a putting course or a short course on one more course, or whatever it is.

00:32:09.528 --> 00:32:27.844
But, um, you know there's four cabins and cabin one is f seconds, a, r, m, it's called the uss farm, which we'll get into later probably but um, they all have mats on their back deck and you can hit into something and there's like a road.

00:32:27.844 --> 00:32:36.015
But, um, when we were staying there one night, uh, the dudes next to us, we were in cabin r and the next dudes were in cabin m.

00:32:36.015 --> 00:32:37.096
They knocked on our door.

00:32:37.096 --> 00:32:43.646
I mean, I haven't shot a slingshot in what is it?

00:32:43.646 --> 00:32:55.807
Probably 28 years, something like that and they're like, hey, they knocked on our door and they're like, hey, we just went to walmart, which was probably 30 minutes away 30, 45 minutes away.

00:32:55.807 --> 00:32:59.297
We bought some, uh, light up bracelets.

00:32:59.297 --> 00:33:02.366
We dumped the thing and we're dipping the balls.

00:33:02.366 --> 00:33:04.795
We bought like 50, 100 balls, whatever.

00:33:04.795 --> 00:33:06.038
Shout out those guys.

00:33:06.038 --> 00:33:08.705
I don't remember their names, but we told them about the podcast.

00:33:08.726 --> 00:33:17.064
If you're listening, shout out to you guys thanks guys and they had a big old thing and he's like, he's like with a, with a slingshot, he's like try and hit this beer.

00:33:17.064 --> 00:33:30.923
And it's like I felt like a kid again for a little while, which was cool, man like, but they wouldn't put some of the the glow, glow necklaces and put it on the equipment yeah, they cut them and put them in a plate and they're like dipping it in the shit.

00:33:31.023 --> 00:33:34.789
You know and so we had a target and we were hitting shots.

00:33:34.789 --> 00:33:36.017
It was funny because you hit the equipment.

00:33:36.057 --> 00:33:38.865
It's like yeah, yeah, there was like a.

00:33:38.865 --> 00:33:41.858
There was like a like a barrel and like a tractor.

00:33:41.858 --> 00:33:44.483
Out there it was.

00:33:44.564 --> 00:33:52.385
It was cool man I think once, if that they turn that either into like a little short course or the putting course, perfect area for it.

00:33:52.385 --> 00:33:59.807
It's down in a little valley, it's away from the golf course, so it's another environment that they could bring in, I think.

00:34:00.214 --> 00:34:01.279
Yeah, they need one more thing.

00:34:01.279 --> 00:34:01.721
Just kill it.

00:34:02.256 --> 00:34:03.401
It would just absolutely kill it.

00:34:04.335 --> 00:34:09.648
All they need is one more thing for you to do, because you're literally in the middle of nowhere.

00:34:09.648 --> 00:34:10.960
I mean, you're close to Homer.

00:34:13.856 --> 00:34:16.405
The food truck is nice, though, because they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

00:34:17.697 --> 00:34:20.025
They don't close till 8 either, which is solid.

00:34:20.474 --> 00:34:21.784
And the food was solid.

00:34:22.248 --> 00:34:22.954
Yeah, it was.

00:34:23.014 --> 00:34:24.139
The food was really really good.

00:34:24.139 --> 00:34:38.224
All right, so from Landman, we wake up the next morning, we play the day two, hop in in the van and we're out, and yeah, so we played land man twice, and then we bounced yeah, um.

00:34:38.224 --> 00:34:49.221
So next up was tatanka, which is west of land man, north, north a little bit and west real close to the south dakota border.

00:34:49.221 --> 00:34:58.355
Uh, so close in fact, we hopped the state line on the way there Just to go into a small little town To get a Runza, our first experience.

00:34:59.519 --> 00:35:02.163
With Runzas and tell ya.

00:35:03.398 --> 00:35:03.639
I want a.

00:35:03.659 --> 00:35:04.561
Runza.

00:35:04.561 --> 00:35:09.686
I want a Runza, I'm searching for Yankton South Dakota.

00:35:09.706 --> 00:35:10.414
Yankton, South Dakota.

00:35:11.115 --> 00:35:17.342
Yankton, that's what it was, Thank you boys out here in the Midwest, let's go Shout out to the Thank you Boys.

00:35:19.695 --> 00:35:22.922
So yeah, Middle of nowhere is right.

00:35:23.556 --> 00:35:24.842
Do you remember that town, though?

00:35:24.842 --> 00:35:29.242
I mean, it was crazy, we went through the drive-thru, so we didn't walk in.

00:35:37.735 --> 00:35:48.862
Yeah, there was a town called gazeville and we so bad wanted to stop at this welcome to gazeville sign and take a fun picture for you, but we we kind of detoured around it, uh, and there was a another town called heinenas, hyenas.

00:35:48.882 --> 00:35:48.983
Yeah.

00:35:53.795 --> 00:35:55.597
Just some fun banter bullshit.

00:35:55.597 --> 00:36:02.826
But yeah, so we stopped and got the Runza, one of the best onion rings I've ever had in my life from that place Unbelievable onion rings.

00:36:02.826 --> 00:36:04.208
The Runza's were a hit.

00:36:04.208 --> 00:36:06.610
It's a fantastic snack.

00:36:12.375 --> 00:36:13.478
Why nobody else does a Runza is beyond me.

00:36:13.478 --> 00:36:13.858
I that's.

00:36:13.858 --> 00:36:17.067
That's what blew my mind is like we asked so many people like okay, we heard we have to eat a runza.

00:36:17.067 --> 00:36:19.818
And we're talking to people like where?

00:36:19.858 --> 00:36:20.539
do you get a runza?

00:36:20.559 --> 00:36:22.304
they're like only at runza.

00:36:22.304 --> 00:36:23.947
You can't get it anywhere else.

00:36:23.947 --> 00:36:30.405
Like there is a market out there for people to make runzas, like I was coming from Vegas.

00:36:30.405 --> 00:36:34.974
Like tacos are great, right, but there's people on the sides of the street making tacos.

00:36:34.974 --> 00:36:41.048
Like why is there not a Mexican lady or Indian lady on the side of the street slaying runzas?

00:36:41.048 --> 00:36:43.422
There is a missed market, guys.

00:36:45.960 --> 00:36:48.586
The runzas at the turn in Nebraska would be amazing.

00:36:49.114 --> 00:36:51.018
That would be the burger dog of the Midwest.

00:36:51.018 --> 00:36:53.865
Exactly it's easy, it's easy.

00:36:53.865 --> 00:36:53.985
The.

00:36:54.025 --> 00:36:54.728
Turn Runza.

00:36:54.728 --> 00:36:59.927
Joe sent us a video last night, a YouTube video about a guy that makes a Runza.

00:36:59.927 --> 00:37:04.266
So I'm doing that because it's really good, it's really good.

00:37:04.266 --> 00:37:06.302
I'm shocked I had never heard of it.

00:37:06.302 --> 00:37:08.516
Shocked it doesn't get more press.

00:37:08.516 --> 00:37:15.364
People probably there are like, eh, it's just another thing, but people like us that never have had it it's pretty fucking good.

00:37:15.965 --> 00:37:21.530
Dude, any golf course in Nebraska that does a turnrunza, people are coming.

00:37:25.675 --> 00:37:26.550
Easy, easy situation for you to escalate.

00:37:26.550 --> 00:37:26.833
I just did.

00:37:26.833 --> 00:37:29.284
Yankton is Lady Payment's hometown.

00:37:29.284 --> 00:37:32.063
Her sister-in-law is that exact Runza's GM.

00:37:32.063 --> 00:37:34.742
I love it.

00:37:36.255 --> 00:37:38.414
Great experience, shout out, miss Payment Fields.

00:37:39.096 --> 00:37:40.501
Barely under a thousand Wow.

00:37:41.014 --> 00:37:43.500
Can we get some frozen Runzas overnighted?

00:37:44.202 --> 00:37:44.822
Yeah right.

00:37:45.023 --> 00:37:46.387
Yeah, I'm looking at you guys.

00:37:46.387 --> 00:37:47.128
No idea about them.

00:37:48.237 --> 00:37:48.961
It's a great sandwich.

00:37:50.875 --> 00:37:52.297
It's so great in fact runs against, overtake hot pockets.

00:37:52.478 --> 00:38:10.585
They just need to package it yeah, when we left, uh, the prairie club, we were going to denver, we stopped for gas and found another one and stopped again because I bought I bought two that time oh, you're funny, all right.

00:38:10.585 --> 00:38:24.217
So, uh, we get to tatanka and and way back earlier in the chat, shannon asked, uh, if we had any issues with the guy there, because, I heard yeah, uh, how was your interaction with troy?

00:38:24.217 --> 00:38:30.067
I didn't see if that was his name but dude was solid he was great he

00:38:30.086 --> 00:38:33.297
put some grips on for joe, two putter grips for me.

00:38:33.297 --> 00:38:38.916
I said I saw grips loose and I was like, hey, could you re-grip two of my putters?

00:38:38.916 --> 00:38:43.606
And he was like, yeah, I mean I tipped him 20 bucks, but he didn't.

00:38:43.606 --> 00:38:48.641
I mean he didn't know I was gonna tip him 20 bucks, which I did venmo, you right, jeremy, because jeremy had the cash.

00:38:48.641 --> 00:38:49.141
I think so.

00:38:49.141 --> 00:38:49.722
Yeah, I don't know.

00:38:49.722 --> 00:38:54.389
Yeah, I think so, but anyway, he, no question, no question, he did it.

00:38:54.389 --> 00:38:58.248
And uh, we were talking about vegas a bit, but no, no issues.

00:38:58.248 --> 00:39:00.978
And I was kind of, I was kind of scared about that too.

00:39:00.978 --> 00:39:04.271
I was like dude, this guy's gonna be a dick yeah, because that's we.

00:39:04.572 --> 00:39:07.920
We were warned by more than one person and uh, but no, he, no, he was solid.

00:39:07.920 --> 00:39:20.809
Uh, there was a group having their fantasy draft and the clubhouse, um, small little shop, had a ton of stuff, um, and uh, yeah, so we, uh what?

00:39:22.320 --> 00:39:26.882
Shannon says let me throw it up there he just couldn't have been Troy.

00:39:26.882 --> 00:39:28.722
He would have told you to kick rocks.

00:39:41.880 --> 00:39:42.440
Maybe it wasn't him.

00:39:42.440 --> 00:39:46.284
I don't remember his name, but I don't remember his name.

00:39:46.284 --> 00:39:53.210
He was there, was it was cool, yeah, but that that's plants, uh, that was weird.

00:39:53.210 --> 00:39:55.775
Uh, you know that, was it?

00:39:55.775 --> 00:39:57.239
Vegas smells like weed.

00:39:57.239 --> 00:40:02.329
So I'm not, you know, not, uh, you know, against the weed smell or whatever.

00:40:02.329 --> 00:40:08.791
But jeremy, we're looking for one of jeremy's ball and I'm like I'm like I'm like holy shit.

00:40:08.791 --> 00:40:11.623
I'm like this is weed.

00:40:12.101 --> 00:40:30.659
I go, this is marijuana so he texted the expert yep and he's like that's Danish weed, dutch weed yeah but man, there was, it was all over the place.

00:40:31.742 --> 00:40:35.056
Life on the indian, life on the res, so, uh.

00:40:35.056 --> 00:40:39.184
But we got to 16 and the skies opened up.

00:40:39.184 --> 00:40:42.690
Um, it's worse than cheap vodka.

00:40:42.690 --> 00:40:48.626
The skies opened up on us and dumped for one hole.

00:40:48.626 --> 00:40:55.940
Jeremy had a hell of a round going and then it was over.

00:40:55.940 --> 00:41:03.110
And I mean it's crazy because the course didn't even feel like it got wet.

00:41:03.110 --> 00:41:07.643
It dried out so fast.

00:41:07.643 --> 00:41:09.081
But we had a good time there.

00:41:09.081 --> 00:41:10.509
It was a great stop along the way.

00:41:10.509 --> 00:41:16.684
Uh, the guy in the pro shop said it's the, the cheap landman and prairie club.

00:41:16.684 --> 00:41:18.548
Don't know if I'd go that far.

00:41:18.548 --> 00:41:26.155
Uh, it's certainly not landman, it's certainly not prairie club, it is a cheap golf, cheaper golf course.

00:41:26.155 --> 00:41:28.282
Um, that is in good shape.

00:41:28.282 --> 00:41:29.684
I mean, it was in good shape.

00:41:29.684 --> 00:41:33.320
I don't think it was in bad shape, um, but it didn't have.

00:41:34.202 --> 00:41:36.949
No, I mean, there was a cemetery on it, which was weird.

00:41:37.496 --> 00:41:40.264
Um, I didn't get to see any buffalo.

00:41:40.483 --> 00:41:44.936
That was upsetting, yeah, but the views though the rolling hills was.

00:41:44.936 --> 00:41:46.139
That was cool oh, my goodness.

00:41:47.260 --> 00:41:48.623
Yeah, one thing, I one thing.

00:41:48.623 --> 00:41:51.778
I found out that I, you know, we have mountains that surround the valley.

00:41:51.778 --> 00:41:53.402
It's a valley, so we have mountains.

00:41:53.402 --> 00:41:57.358
The sunsets in the midwest last forever.

00:41:57.358 --> 00:42:08.043
Yeah, true, it took forever for the sun to go down or for the sky to get dark, because I was like, oh shit, sun's going down, we're gonna be in pitch black in the middle of fucking nowhere forever.

00:42:08.704 --> 00:42:23.268
And it, uh it, it wasn't that bad yeah, brand man who's in the chat, uh, messaged me afterwards and I was telling him about the ditch weed and he had pictures of the buffalo.

00:42:23.268 --> 00:42:25.998
I was like we didn't see any buffalo I had a cow.

00:42:26.018 --> 00:42:28.626
That was it yeah, but no, it was sick.

00:42:28.626 --> 00:42:31.092
I mean, that was my best round, right?

00:42:31.092 --> 00:42:32.697
Yeah, I don't know what was going on.

00:42:32.697 --> 00:42:49.293
We drove two and like two hours and then, after we played there, we had to drive like two and a half hours into the middle of nowhere, which is crazy, and it was I was gonna say the bugs, the bugs hitting the windshield yeah, it was pretty crazy.

00:42:49.673 --> 00:42:51.458
It sounded like it was raining.

00:42:51.458 --> 00:42:52.702
There was, they hit.

00:42:52.702 --> 00:43:02.592
It was so crazy it was pretty wild there we stopped off in that little town that only had vending machines that was, so that was so weird.

00:43:02.592 --> 00:43:03.594
But then they had that.

00:43:03.594 --> 00:43:07.842
That coffee, that canned cold coffee was absolutely.

00:43:07.842 --> 00:43:11.387
It was a no sugar espresso latte.

00:43:11.387 --> 00:43:16.719
It was unbelievably good, but they make it there so I think.

00:43:17.121 --> 00:44:03.922
I mean it's like what's so crazy to me is like the, which I I love, right, like me, matt and dan we've experienced and bob with bob on the adventure of just traveling I mean we can get into this later, but jeremy is new to the adventure of golf trip, which was so cool, like we were in civilization, right, we were at the run zone, we, we walked into the grocery store and, uh, we looked out of place and then we drove up two and a half fucking hours from that spot not seeing a Walmart, no Targets, no McDonald's, and then you see vending machines, right, and then some of the best coffee you'll ever have, right, like you love the coffee.

00:44:03.922 --> 00:44:22.983
And then from that spot it was like 30 minutes and then dirt roads for 40 minutes and then dirt roads for 40 minutes, and then we made it to Valentine, like we're in the depths of the beast of a golf trip, yeah, and then we make it to Valentine and then we see the homie, mr Payment.

00:44:23.003 --> 00:44:23.304
Failed.

00:44:24.427 --> 00:44:36.778
Yep, who went to the Mexican restaurant 40 minutes away from his house and hung out for like 40 minutes just to say hi, shout out, austin, shout out Miss Pavement Failed.

00:44:36.778 --> 00:44:37.943
Awesome of you.

00:44:39.757 --> 00:44:40.458
I had to go to the bathroom.

00:44:40.458 --> 00:44:45.659
So bad, matt was a dick, matt was a dick.

00:44:48.835 --> 00:45:03.226
I'm either going to stay here, stay here, hang out and piss my pants, or I'm gonna go to the bathroom but that's what's so cool about golf, bro, and and also whatnot, in a way, like it's just like we bring people together, golf brings people together.

00:45:03.226 --> 00:45:04.797
And we got to see austin.

00:45:04.797 --> 00:45:14.726
His wife hung out for a little while and we almost hit a deer on the way and like we're on dirt roads and like we're in the belly of the beast of middle america.

00:45:14.746 --> 00:45:24.831
There's a cop sitting on the outskirts of town speeding and we thought we're gonna get pulled over and thrown in valentine jail and I'm hung and I'm hungry and the mic I got him fucking.

00:45:24.911 --> 00:45:30.266
they don't have grilled chicken at mcdonald's so I gotta get a fucking fried chicken sandwich and it's trash.

00:45:30.266 --> 00:45:35.485
We're so used to our comforts in the big city.

00:45:35.485 --> 00:45:47.605
It's an eye-opener in a way, but it's always a pleasure to meet people that love what we love.

00:45:48.335 --> 00:45:51.864
Then we stayed in the worst spot.

00:45:51.864 --> 00:46:02.481
We stayed in um, probably the, probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in oh, I'm, I've got a couple worse than that, oh also also also.

00:46:02.701 --> 00:46:09.201
Also, uh, mr payment field says make sure you lock your doors because you're so close to the reservation.

00:46:09.201 --> 00:46:12.079
I'm like is that the reservation?

00:46:12.079 --> 00:46:19.784
Like we're coming into the reservation of our time, like to to check in for our reservation, or it's like is there a reservation out here and wherever?

00:46:19.885 --> 00:46:23.922
you can't take raises meth yeah yeah, he has a filter.

00:46:23.922 --> 00:46:26.447
He doesn't understand them I thought that.

00:46:26.567 --> 00:46:27.375
I thought the first one.

00:46:27.375 --> 00:46:30.242
I was like we're so close to our reservation, we need to be careful.

00:46:30.242 --> 00:46:40.144
But it was you're close to the reservation, but the indians the reservation golf courses do it.

00:46:40.144 --> 00:46:46.039
Right, you didn't shut out all those golf courses, yeah so but I took it the other way for a second.

00:46:46.039 --> 00:46:48.963
I had to think about that one.

00:46:50.385 --> 00:46:56.063
Yeah, it's wild country, wild country.

00:46:56.063 --> 00:47:34.083
So yeah, we stayed in the room, got up the next morning early because we had early tea time at the Prairie Club on the Pines course, took the 25, 30-minute drive, uh, turned off the road, travel on a dirt road to the prairie club beautiful facility, um, it's the I want to say the 100 opposite of landman, um, big grand entry, valet drivers, uh, you know, hey, we got your clubs, hey, we got your bags, hey, just, you know, going here, everybody's, thank you, thank you, thank you.

00:47:34.083 --> 00:47:43.869
Coffee bars and nice seating and patios and I mean it's, it's very bandon-esque as far as amenities and appearance goes, like the clubhouse.

00:47:43.869 --> 00:47:57.121
I'm talking the, not the course, joe, just, uh, just, the atmosphere around there was was really nice and, uh, it was foggy and it was dewy.

00:47:57.121 --> 00:48:02.235
Look at joe, he's just insulted that I related prairie club and abandoned.

00:48:02.815 --> 00:48:05.260
It was cool, the courses were better than the economy.

00:48:05.260 --> 00:48:22.947
I mean the courses were sick, but the service I mean I'm gonna get on my cliff real quick like the the service was not great I think the lady.

00:48:23.367 --> 00:48:24.449
Uh, the night we had dinner.

00:48:24.449 --> 00:48:25.056
She was good.

00:48:25.076 --> 00:48:30.336
She made some mistakes, but no, it felt like I felt like we were in a pts when we were eating dinner.

00:48:30.518 --> 00:48:37.039
There's like no seriously right, well, we were sitting in the bar, we weren't sitting in the restaurant where was the restaurant?

00:48:37.681 --> 00:48:39.144
was anybody sitting in the restaurant?

00:48:39.385 --> 00:48:40.637
nobody was in there.

00:48:40.637 --> 00:48:42.222
It was in there the big dining room.

00:48:42.222 --> 00:49:01.250
There was people in there no, there was nobody in there there was definitely people in there, but no, nobody there is nobody felt like a pts while we were at the bar, so I could I could see how it felt like a pts we.

00:49:01.335 --> 00:49:06.675
I do have a couple issues with that place, but the golf courses were sick okay oh, what's your issues?

00:49:06.956 --> 00:49:13.077
I want to hear the issues uh, the sign for the breakfast buffet was garbage.

00:49:13.077 --> 00:49:16.001
All the plates were covering 15.

00:49:16.001 --> 00:49:18.686
It's at breakfast buffet.

00:49:18.686 --> 00:49:27.144
And then the plates were all covering, uh, if you stay with us or your guests from last night or if not, it's a 15.

00:49:27.144 --> 00:49:29.088
So all that was covered.

00:49:29.088 --> 00:49:48.306
Just, I mean I, I'm I'm not cliff right, cliff is cliff has experienced a lot of like great stuff and but I've worked in really high-end places and it's it didn't like deliver on that high end.

00:49:48.306 --> 00:49:49.528
The golf was great.

00:49:49.528 --> 00:49:50.577
I didn't love.

00:49:50.577 --> 00:49:55.943
Pines Pines was cool, I mean I get it, but dunes was fantastic.

00:49:55.943 --> 00:49:58.260
The short course was the best course out there.

00:49:58.260 --> 00:50:02.139
Shave your, shave the greens.

00:50:02.139 --> 00:50:03.905
There you go.

00:50:03.905 --> 00:50:06.422
Shave the greens on your putting course.

00:50:06.422 --> 00:50:08.168
Don't leave the putting course to rot.

00:50:08.168 --> 00:50:08.954
Wave the greens on your putting course.

00:50:08.954 --> 00:50:12.639
Don't leave the putting course to rot.

00:50:12.659 --> 00:50:14.842
Make a walkway from the lodge that's right next to it.

00:50:14.842 --> 00:50:16.925
You walked through tall grass.

00:50:16.925 --> 00:50:18.547
I was getting eaten alive by bugs.

00:50:18.547 --> 00:50:20.128
I had to walk all the way around.

00:50:20.128 --> 00:50:21.851
I walked 10 feet.

00:50:23.815 --> 00:50:24.275
The staff was fantastic.

00:50:24.275 --> 00:50:29.608
No, you walked 10 feet through high grass and I was already eaten by 40 bugs.

00:50:29.608 --> 00:50:31.422
I already had 40 bug bites on me.

00:50:31.422 --> 00:50:33.898
I was like, no, I'm going to take the long way around.

00:50:33.898 --> 00:50:43.541
Great golf, bent greens, fantastic, great turn shacks, great accommodations.

00:50:43.541 --> 00:50:46.001
I just it.

00:50:46.001 --> 00:50:46.264
Just.

00:50:46.264 --> 00:50:48.534
I love the golf.

00:50:48.534 --> 00:50:56.248
Right, I loved the golf, but just the experience outside of the golf didn't really make me want to come back.

00:50:56.248 --> 00:50:58.173
I loved the golf courses.

00:50:58.173 --> 00:51:11.451
I would go back for the golf courses, but the experience outside of the golf courses I'm not like, yeah, I want to go to Valentine's sleep in a Super 8 again and eat a fucking rock hard chicken sandwich again, just to come back here.

00:51:11.451 --> 00:51:21.047
I played it cool, and then it's just like the pro shop wasn't great.

00:51:21.047 --> 00:51:24.465
I didn't find anything in that pro shop after two days.

00:51:24.465 --> 00:51:34.960
There's nothing I wanted to buy they didn't have the stuff you like well then, okay, and they didn't have it.

00:51:35.001 --> 00:51:38.068
They don't have it on the website, which the website doesn't work.

00:51:38.068 --> 00:51:43.568
Took me two days to get on the website hey, the place is not without flaws.

00:51:44.356 --> 00:51:46.481
Yeah, so I will 100 say that.

00:51:46.481 --> 00:51:49.226
But but the Pines course for me.

00:51:49.976 --> 00:51:51.983
Shannon, I got ate alive, bro.

00:51:51.983 --> 00:51:53.762
I am finally recovering.

00:51:54.175 --> 00:51:56.143
The Pines course, for me, was the star of the show.

00:51:56.143 --> 00:52:00.545
I thought it had by far the most character of all the courses that we played.

00:52:00.545 --> 00:52:03.963
It had a little bit of dunes.

00:52:03.963 --> 00:52:07.894
It had a little bit of forest, the bunkering was incredible.

00:52:07.894 --> 00:52:10.697
The tee shot shapings was absolutely fantastic.

00:52:10.697 --> 00:52:14.726
Uh, the greens weren't gimmicky, they, they were true greens.

00:52:14.726 --> 00:52:15.608
They rolled well.

00:52:15.608 --> 00:52:18.760
Uh, the bunkering was spectacular.

00:52:18.760 --> 00:52:20.684
The turnhouse was fantastic.

00:52:20.684 --> 00:52:22.306
Got to go by it twice.

00:52:22.306 --> 00:52:27.061
Um, the 18th hole, I thought, was a stunner of a finisher.

00:52:27.061 --> 00:52:28.905
The first hole is a great opening hole.

00:52:28.905 --> 00:52:31.297
I thought the par threes were fantastic.

00:52:31.297 --> 00:52:33.440
Um, it just.

00:52:33.440 --> 00:52:37.887
For me, it was a much more enjoyable golf course.

00:52:37.887 --> 00:52:40.597
Uh, the dunes course, I thought, was.

00:52:40.597 --> 00:52:43.541
I mean, it was nice, don't get me wrong, it was.

00:52:43.541 --> 00:52:45.985
It was a beautiful golf course.

00:52:47.065 --> 00:52:56.916
Way, way, way too many blind shots, fairways that are 400 yards wide, you have no idea where your ball is going it's.

00:52:56.916 --> 00:52:59.505
I didn't enjoy that whatsoever.

00:52:59.505 --> 00:53:07.324
I mean the amount of blind shots into holes where you have to wait because you don't know if the people in front of you are there or not.

00:53:07.324 --> 00:53:08.740
You got to wait to see them drive off.

00:53:08.740 --> 00:53:11.641
I mean we waited so much on blind shots.

00:53:11.641 --> 00:53:14.057
I just thought it was kind of stupid.

00:53:14.057 --> 00:53:15.802
Um, I didn't miss.

00:53:15.802 --> 00:53:16.824
I missed one fairway.

00:53:16.824 --> 00:53:19.878
That's because I I took the wrong club off the tee and hit into a bunker.

00:53:19.878 --> 00:53:22.266
It's not a hard course.

00:53:22.266 --> 00:53:45.896
Um, there wasn't a whole lot of challenges, I thought, other than the blind shots where I thought the pines course was much more golf centric, with with great layout, great design, great bunkering, the way that the, the, the, you hit shots through the trees, you hit shots from, you drive through the bunkers, you drive.

00:53:45.896 --> 00:53:50.956
I mean it was just, it had so much character and I didn't see any of that on the dunes course.

00:53:52.179 --> 00:53:58.052
Okay, jeremy go jeremy loved the dunes and so did cliff.

00:53:58.353 --> 00:54:07.179
I'm definitely I liked I liked dunes, but after, like, getting home and thinking about it, I think I would rate them the same I did.

00:54:07.179 --> 00:54:09.684
I did feel like pines is is bandon-esque.

00:54:09.684 --> 00:54:18.489
I felt like it kind of started out og and then went into trails and then came back out, kind of kind of how trails does.

00:54:18.489 --> 00:54:30.367
But, um, I think I preferred pines course more, but the like the, I think dunes is really.

00:54:30.367 --> 00:54:42.257
It's similar in a way to landman, in my opinion, where it's very vast and it's really spread out and huge, huge fairways, debunkering it's all target.

00:54:42.297 --> 00:54:46.711
I mean, I was finding the bunkers were very well placed.

00:54:46.711 --> 00:54:49.039
There is a lot of blind shots, though, which I don't mind.

00:54:49.039 --> 00:54:57.583
That the only problem is when you don't know the groups ahead of you and you hit into them two times, like, and so that's a problem.

00:54:57.583 --> 00:55:06.442
But I I feel like I would probably say if we were going back there, I would want to play 50, 50, I would do two and two or whatever.

00:55:06.442 --> 00:55:09.206
I don't have really a preference on.

00:55:09.206 --> 00:55:11.170
I thought the course was awesome.

00:55:11.170 --> 00:55:15.387
I didn't pay much attention to the stay in the restaurant.

00:55:15.387 --> 00:55:17.963
That's the stuff I don't care as much about yeah.

00:55:19.534 --> 00:55:21.141
That's just a bonus, if it's good.

00:55:22.344 --> 00:55:30.563
Yeah, I feel like Pines had a little more character to me than Dunes, but Dunes was an amazing golf course and I loved it.

00:55:30.855 --> 00:55:41.835
so so I'll say that that we played pines twice, right, we only played dunes one time, correct?

00:55:41.835 --> 00:55:42.936
Yeah, I get.

00:55:42.936 --> 00:55:48.288
When I go back and think of playing pines, I get lost.

00:55:48.288 --> 00:55:48.789
I don't.

00:55:48.789 --> 00:55:53.677
And think of playing pines, I get lost.

00:55:53.677 --> 00:55:53.858
I don't.

00:55:53.858 --> 00:55:55.119
That routing fucking course you play.

00:55:55.139 --> 00:55:55.942
No, no, no, the routing, the routing.

00:55:55.942 --> 00:55:56.222
Go back.

00:55:56.242 --> 00:56:24.539
I'll have chat gbt, listen to every episode and talk about how many times joe doesn't like the routing because he gets lost okay, well, we, we, we played it twice, okay, and we were, we, we were in the dunes, then we cut back and then we went into the pines and then we came out of the pines, then we went back into the pines, then we like looped or something and I can't remember any of those, and then we went this way and then we, then we came home and then we went back into the pines, the dunes.

00:56:24.539 --> 00:56:28.085
I can remember every hole playing it one time.

00:56:28.085 --> 00:56:34.210
Okay, well, that's because you were salty.

00:56:34.210 --> 00:56:35.197
I wasn't salty.

00:56:35.197 --> 00:56:36.702
Yeah, you were tired.

00:56:37.335 --> 00:56:39.378
That was the best round I played was on that course.

00:56:39.378 --> 00:56:40.461
I wasn't salty at all.

00:56:40.635 --> 00:56:41.820
You just can't hang anymore.

00:56:41.820 --> 00:56:42.483
That's the thing.

00:56:42.483 --> 00:56:43.719
You just can't hang anymore.

00:56:43.719 --> 00:56:49.541
We went all the way out and I was like, did I ride with you, Jeremy?

00:56:51.126 --> 00:56:53.239
Dunes no, you were.

00:56:53.239 --> 00:56:54.643
With Cliff no, you were with Cliff.

00:56:56.538 --> 00:57:03.320
I was like Cliff, we went all the way out and then we're here, and then we're going all the way back in.

00:57:03.320 --> 00:57:03.983
Look over there.

00:57:03.983 --> 00:57:16.862
I remember, I can remember every single hole Playing it one time and I was tired, I was beat, I was itching from bug bites, and I can remember every single shot.

00:57:16.862 --> 00:57:28.001
I hit every single hole, every single approach shot maybe not all the putts, but pines I struggle with, we were zigzagging and I was it.

00:57:28.001 --> 00:57:28.965
Just like.

00:57:28.965 --> 00:57:30.010
Was it was cool?

00:57:30.010 --> 00:57:31.014
Right, it's not.

00:57:31.014 --> 00:57:37.634
You guys say it reminds you of Bandon Trails, but it's not fucking Bandon Trails, bandon Trails tells a story.

00:57:38.161 --> 00:57:39.233
No, it's not Bandon Trails.

00:57:39.978 --> 00:57:41.463
Bandon-esque is what you said.

00:57:41.463 --> 00:57:44.322
It's not fucking Bandon-esque, it's not.

00:57:44.322 --> 00:57:55.090
Guys In my opinion, sorry, sorry, dunes guys in my opinion, sorry, sorry, sorry Dunes to me.

00:57:55.090 --> 00:58:06.795
Alright, you got, dunes was very, very fucking sick and it almost was better than Landman in my opinion.

00:58:06.795 --> 00:58:17.864
I love Trails, right, but but it was just wonky and you thought it was Tom Lehman the whole time.

00:58:18.427 --> 00:58:20.773
Well, I didn't know, I didn't know, I thought it.

00:58:20.773 --> 00:58:23.690
I thought Tom Lehman had done it and but I, it's not like I.

00:58:23.690 --> 00:58:29.048
I was excited to play a Tom Lehman course, cause I'm blown away by his courses.

00:58:29.048 --> 00:58:30.364
It would have been the first.

00:58:30.364 --> 00:58:31.146
It was the first.

00:58:31.146 --> 00:58:38.400
Uh, graham Marsh, I played, it was.

00:58:38.400 --> 00:58:40.503
It was the first tom layman I played, so I, but I was, I thought it was tom layman.

00:58:40.525 --> 00:58:42.088
I was giving him major props because I know I fucking loved it.

00:58:42.088 --> 00:58:52.782
I will say I loved the pines course the first time, and then we played it a second time and I was like I could just go to my room, which is kind of weird for me, right.

00:58:52.782 --> 00:58:56.750
Wow, yeah, like I I was.

00:58:56.750 --> 00:58:59.646
I kind of just want to go to my room and take a shower.

00:58:59.646 --> 00:59:02.985
That's weird for me, though, right.

00:59:04.728 --> 00:59:06.052
Wow Right.

00:59:08.384 --> 00:59:11.467
No, no, no, that's the great thing.

00:59:11.467 --> 00:59:13.666
Everybody can like what they like.

00:59:13.666 --> 00:59:14.588
But like for me.

00:59:14.588 --> 00:59:15.744
I was just like eh.

00:59:15.744 --> 00:59:20.101
The second time, maybe, maybe a second time around dunes.

00:59:20.101 --> 00:59:21.123
I feel the same.

00:59:21.123 --> 00:59:38.364
I think dunes was master class and almost overtakes landman but yeah I mean that you know.

00:59:38.364 --> 00:59:40.351
Everybody has their opinions, oh absolutely.

00:59:40.371 --> 00:59:44.579
That's what's what that makes golf so amazing all right dan you've been sitting there forever.

00:59:44.579 --> 00:59:47.105
We're forcing you to sit here and listen to this.

00:59:47.105 --> 00:59:49.530
Give us something.

00:59:50.492 --> 00:59:53.467
Talk to me um, I don't really have any questions.

00:59:53.467 --> 00:59:56.659
I just kind of want to know, like your guys's rankings?

00:59:59.568 --> 01:00:06.130
well, we know, joe's we know, yeah, we know matt's it's.

01:00:06.329 --> 01:00:08.373
It's dunes landman.

01:00:08.373 --> 01:00:12.382
Do no dunes, dunes, dunes, landman no, let's.

01:00:12.501 --> 01:00:14.166
Let's give a shout out to the homie cliff.

01:00:14.166 --> 01:00:18.728
All right, you have 10 rounds okay, I I appreciate cliff's thing that I just can't do.

01:00:18.750 --> 01:00:19.713
That let's give a shout out to the homie Cliff.

01:00:19.713 --> 01:00:20.436
All right, you have 10 rounds.

01:00:20.436 --> 01:00:21.278
Okay, I appreciate Cliff's thing.

01:00:22.181 --> 01:00:23.163
I just can't do that.

01:00:23.163 --> 01:00:25.266
We're going to have to do it because, shout out, cliff.

01:00:25.266 --> 01:00:27.409
Cliff's a legend, so we're going to do that.

01:00:27.409 --> 01:00:32.036
You can say your favorite in ranking, but you're going to have to do it.

01:00:32.036 --> 01:00:37.199
You're going to have to do the 10 round thing because Cliff is a legend.

01:00:37.199 --> 01:00:50.168
So we played dakota dunes, floyd park, landman uh, tatanka, prairie pines, prairie dunes, and then we flew out of denver.

01:00:50.168 --> 01:01:00.561
We also also we drove like almost a thousand miles in five days and played eight rounds of golf and we stopped by rodeo dunes

01:01:01.103 --> 01:01:19.708
yeah, yeah, we went to the gates of rodeo dunes all right, joe, let's you go, let's get, get your rankings it's landman dunes pines to tonka, dakota dunes, floyd park.

01:01:19.708 --> 01:01:27.527
That's the ranking and then we can talk about that's joe's ranking that's my rankings.

01:01:27.628 --> 01:01:35.150
We can talk about the rounds we play after, but yeah, that's my rankings jeremy, what would you do uh?

01:01:35.349 --> 01:01:41.889
landman Pines Dunes, dakota Dunes, tatanka Floyd.

01:01:45.242 --> 01:01:56.882
Mine is Pines one Probably, I don't know.

01:01:56.882 --> 01:01:59.668
See, it's tough for me, I take your hat off.

01:01:59.708 --> 01:02:01.012
Bro take your hat off.

01:02:01.460 --> 01:02:01.701
Why?

01:02:01.701 --> 01:02:05.309
Because I'm not a fucking landman fanboy like you.

01:02:05.309 --> 01:02:18.534
Uh, I, I enjoyed the shots at dakota dunes more than I enjoyed the shots at landman.

01:02:18.534 --> 01:02:32.713
I I thought playing golf there was a lot more challenging and a lot more golf for me, landman, weird bounces, weird kicks, weird lies, funky greens.

01:02:32.713 --> 01:02:35.246
It's amazing what they've done there.

01:02:35.246 --> 01:02:40.106
But uh, I, I God it's tough.

01:02:40.106 --> 01:02:41.572
I, I probably land man two.

01:02:41.572 --> 01:02:57.811
Uh, I would put dakota dunes three, dunes at prairie four, tatanka five and void park six and then the, the short course, probably 11.

01:03:01.320 --> 01:03:16.288
You're the best course we played according to joe dan what's your ranking no that was according to pictures.

01:03:17.351 --> 01:03:21.661
I'm kidding, I'm kidding I'm kidding, I just having a hard time right now.

01:03:21.681 --> 01:03:29.914
But no I wasn't, I wasn't I wasn't blown away with landman, like joe was, um it's it's.

01:03:29.914 --> 01:03:35.684
It's impressive to me what they've done there to be fair to be is my vibe.

01:03:35.844 --> 01:03:37.585
It is you can wear a t-shirt.

01:03:37.585 --> 01:03:46.090
There's a food truck, it's like cool merch in the pro shop, it's like it's like a t-shirt.

01:03:46.090 --> 01:03:52.934
Like there, the turn shack is cool, it's small but like there was like neon in there.

01:03:52.934 --> 01:03:55.956
So it's like it totally fits my vibe, 100%.

01:03:55.956 --> 01:04:02.449
You'd be creative, you could hit like little pitcher runners, draw skis off hills and things like that and you see things.

01:04:02.449 --> 01:04:04.760
So it's totally my vibe.

01:04:04.760 --> 01:04:06.547
So I'll just start there.

01:04:06.547 --> 01:04:13.925
It's like when, when we showed up, I was like I'm wearing a t-shirt and and cliff was like can you wear a t-shirt?

01:04:13.925 --> 01:04:16.992
I was like yeah I would hope so.

01:04:18.375 --> 01:04:20.780
And uh, cliff made me a little nervous.

01:04:20.780 --> 01:04:22.704
He's like are you sure you're gonna wear a t-shirt?

01:04:22.704 --> 01:04:23.588
And I talked to the guy.

01:04:23.588 --> 01:04:25.561
He's like I was like can I wear a t-shirt?

01:04:25.561 --> 01:04:28.947
He's like yeah, there's no fucking dress code, so that's my shit.

01:04:29.168 --> 01:04:38.773
So like yeah it fit so yeah, I like I said I I it's impressive what they've done there and I like the food truck thing.

01:04:38.773 --> 01:04:41.829
I like the little clubhouse that they had.

01:04:41.829 --> 01:04:47.652
I thought where they had the little bungalows was great.

01:04:47.652 --> 01:04:51.309
But the golf course didn't blow me away.

01:04:51.309 --> 01:04:57.072
I mean it was an impressive feat to see what they accomplished putting out there.

01:04:57.072 --> 01:05:00.523
It was an impressive feat to see what they accomplished putting out there.

01:05:00.523 --> 01:05:00.903
But it didn't like.

01:05:00.903 --> 01:05:03.088
It didn't like playing Bannon Trails for the first time.

01:05:03.088 --> 01:05:04.811
Like blew me away.

01:05:04.811 --> 01:05:18.634
Um being on the south course at Torrey Pines, which I know a lot of people don't think that's a fantastic golf course, but like being there and seeing the course, it just was like I was awestruck um so you walked up to the number 13.

01:05:18.673 --> 01:05:25.710
You're like this is cool I I that's my favorite hole there.

01:05:25.710 --> 01:05:26.972
It's, it's gorgeous.

01:05:26.972 --> 01:05:28.335
It's gorgeous to look at.

01:05:28.514 --> 01:05:39.554
It's a beautiful golf hole, beautiful design but it didn't like Four, five, six I would have to look at it.

01:05:39.614 --> 01:05:40.215
I don't remember it.

01:05:44.079 --> 01:05:45.936
I think the back nine is a lot better at Landman than the front nine.

01:05:45.936 --> 01:05:50.110
In my opinion, I think Landman might be my favorite course I've ever played.

01:05:51.001 --> 01:05:52.766
I could be close to that too.

01:05:52.766 --> 01:05:54.971
Because, I love.

01:05:55.340 --> 01:06:03.306
The greens are my favorite part about landman and I love hitting it away from the flag and having to figure out how to get it to the flag.

01:06:03.306 --> 01:06:04.630
And that's landman.

01:06:04.630 --> 01:06:14.985
Summed up, yes like you can pick a target anywhere on the green and choose where you want that ball to roll down to or whatever you know dude, you don't have to hit it on the green.

01:06:15.565 --> 01:06:16.306
Yeah, you don't.

01:06:16.306 --> 01:06:20.313
You could hit it in the fringe or the rough and it's like like number 10.

01:06:20.313 --> 01:06:27.847
Me and jeremy were trying to hit draws 60 yards right of the flag, trying to run it down into the pin.

01:06:27.847 --> 01:06:29.710
It's just like.

01:06:29.710 --> 01:06:36.713
I just love the creativity of that place, like bob bob would love that place.

01:06:37.293 --> 01:06:37.775
I didn't get it.

01:06:37.775 --> 01:06:38.657
Jeremy, you would love.

01:06:38.777 --> 01:06:45.619
You would love strands courses then yeah, we need to take care of this, yeah there's a lot of that with strands too.

01:06:45.639 --> 01:06:49.150
You can fire away from pins and you get up there and your ball is cozy next to it.

01:06:49.210 --> 01:06:55.036
It's, it's fun I love that I could spend all day on the greens at landman just messing around.

01:06:55.579 --> 01:06:55.920
Definitely.

01:06:55.920 --> 01:06:59.630
Greens at landman just messing around definitely.

01:06:59.630 --> 01:07:03.119
I do love this comment by shannon aren't all back nines better?

01:07:03.119 --> 01:07:14.391
They are for my game, uh, if your back nine isn't better than your front, but I think both need to be equal and in a way, right.

01:07:14.391 --> 01:07:15.733
But the back nine brings you back.

01:07:15.733 --> 01:07:17.588
All right, let's get into, let's get into farm and then we'll pull the winner.

01:07:17.608 --> 01:07:18.411
yeah, yeah, yeah In a way, but the back.

01:07:18.431 --> 01:07:18.913
Nine brings you back.

01:07:18.932 --> 01:07:20.137
All right, let's get into farm.

01:07:21.340 --> 01:07:22.202
And then we'll pull the winner.

01:07:22.202 --> 01:07:24.045
Greatest putting game ever created.

01:07:24.445 --> 01:07:24.686
Yeah.

01:07:24.686 --> 01:07:32.730
So we, after our first round, we had a bunch of time kill Before sun went down and we were trying to get back out but they wouldn't let us.

01:07:32.730 --> 01:07:45.206
So we go over to the putting green and we're just chilling A little soul golf bare feet on the putting green and went and got a cigar and Cliff's like, oh, let's play a game.

01:07:45.206 --> 01:07:46.210
And he started talking.

01:07:46.210 --> 01:08:03.353
And then we just kind of started brainstorming and came up with this game called Farm, and we call it Farm because it was created at Landman and we were staying in the farm bungalows or cabins, whatever you want to call them.

01:08:03.353 --> 01:08:15.610
So it's similar to horse in the fact that you earn letters for failing, basically, and we did this with four players because that's what we had.

01:08:15.610 --> 01:08:18.128
So I'm sure you could do it with more.

01:08:19.520 --> 01:08:28.170
But we're in the midst of creating a sheet of rules so everybody can download it and play it.

01:08:28.170 --> 01:08:29.987
But we'll kind of walk you through it right now.

01:08:29.987 --> 01:08:40.976
So basically we had Siri pick a random order and the player one picks a hole and everybody putts to it.

01:08:40.976 --> 01:08:59.600
If you're the closest, you win, you get to pick next, if you're the furthest away, you earn a letter f, uh, and then it goes on and on like that, and then as we're playing it so if you get to farm, you're out and as we're playing it, uh, we're kind of making up different rules.

01:09:00.181 --> 01:09:14.586
So if you, if you hold the putt from long distance because in these you know you're on a big putting green, we're talking like 30, 40 foot putts over hills, around corners and everything you know this isn't a six footer, uh.

01:09:14.586 --> 01:09:24.547
And so if you make the putt, then you get to uh assign a letter to any other player, and, and that made it more fun, uh.

01:09:24.547 --> 01:09:33.182
And then we came up with a, a way to get back in the game, because you know you're out there with your friends, you want everybody to play, you don't want somebody just sitting there watching uh.

01:09:33.182 --> 01:09:43.021
So if you, if you get m, then you're dormy, uh, and if you don't win the next round, then you're out to win the next round.

01:09:43.042 --> 01:09:53.188
You have to, you have to, but if you win the next round you're, you're back in and you have to win the next, still dormy, yeah yeah, uh, it was so much fun.

01:09:53.548 --> 01:09:56.872
I mean, we played that for like two hours and we were out there.

01:09:56.872 --> 01:10:04.490
Yeah, it was so much fun and, uh, we, we could, I, I couldn't believe how much fun it was.

01:10:04.490 --> 01:10:06.903
It's probably the most fun I've had on a putting green in a long time.

01:10:06.903 --> 01:10:09.590
Yeah, because you, you got a little bit of strategy.

01:10:09.590 --> 01:10:10.500
Do you want to go first?

01:10:10.500 --> 01:10:11.322
You want to go second?

01:10:11.322 --> 01:10:11.641
You know?

01:10:11.641 --> 01:10:22.670
Then you know, joe, I won the first round, joe won the second round and you know, we had no points, and then Cliff coming back in with the dormie.

01:10:22.670 --> 01:10:24.667
I mean it was an absolute blast.

01:10:25.743 --> 01:10:27.068
So we call it farm, it was awesome.

01:10:27.800 --> 01:10:34.150
I'm going to put together a PDF that people can download that you can print out and figure out how to play with your friends.

01:10:34.150 --> 01:10:43.130
But if you've got, you know, know some people and and you got some time to kill and you want to go on a putting green great game, it, it's a lot of fun.

01:10:43.130 --> 01:10:51.542
Uh, you, you find out a lot about people, about their putting skills and you know the challenges where you can assign letters and I mean it's.

01:10:51.542 --> 01:10:53.865
It is an absolute blast.

01:10:53.865 --> 01:10:58.051
So I highly recommend you guys get out and play some farm.

01:10:58.672 --> 01:11:02.064
Um it's the horse for golf, like horse and basketball.

01:11:02.085 --> 01:11:15.965
It's like you got to make it well yeah it, we adapted it to the putting green and when you and when you're dormy and you got a putt and you you know you have to win, so you have to get it inside the closest person to stay in the game.

01:11:16.125 --> 01:11:29.529
It it makes pressure putting and that's it was a lot of fun and and even when we were at prairie club playing it on their putting course, uh, I was like, guys, we gotta go eat dinner, you know.

01:11:29.529 --> 01:11:32.721
Yeah, we were like, okay, let's go play the short.

01:11:32.721 --> 01:11:34.367
I know we had to go play the short course.

01:11:34.367 --> 01:11:35.860
I'm like we gotta knock out the short course.

01:11:35.860 --> 01:11:36.443
Let's go.

01:11:36.443 --> 01:11:38.189
We got nobody wins.

01:11:38.189 --> 01:11:40.636
Let's go, because we could have done that all night.

01:11:40.756 --> 01:11:44.204
It's, it's fantastic yeah, it's a fun game.

01:11:44.204 --> 01:11:56.448
So, uh, if you're, if you're interested in that, you know, just send us a message and and when I get that all typed up and and because we have a notes where we were just just typing stuff away trying to make sure we remembered everything.

01:11:56.448 --> 01:11:58.391
It's an absolute blast of a game.

01:11:58.391 --> 01:11:59.394
It's a great game.

01:11:59.394 --> 01:12:02.587
Let's see we got anything else.

01:12:02.587 --> 01:12:06.134
Vgn this weekend at Coyote Springs.

01:12:06.134 --> 01:12:09.827
Dan, you played Coyote Springs this past weekend with Trey and Julian.

01:12:09.827 --> 01:12:10.909
How's the course?

01:12:10.909 --> 01:12:11.572
What are we looking at?

01:12:12.761 --> 01:12:14.407
Tradition, Golf and Animal Shire Matt.

01:12:16.539 --> 01:12:17.412
Tradition Golf yes'm going to shut up Matt.

01:12:17.412 --> 01:12:18.000
Tradition Golf yes, he is.

01:12:18.000 --> 01:12:20.528
Course is in really good shape.

01:12:20.528 --> 01:12:27.212
Still, the grass around that bunker's edges and around some of the greens is brutal.

01:12:27.212 --> 01:12:28.425
It's like a foot long.

01:12:28.425 --> 01:12:30.859
It's tough shit.

01:12:30.859 --> 01:12:32.587
So make sure you hit the greens.

01:12:33.822 --> 01:12:34.423
Hit some greens.

01:12:34.926 --> 01:12:37.525
Got to hit some greens, but no, it's in great shape.

01:12:37.525 --> 01:12:45.645
The greens are in good shape, probably running 10 and a half 11, so there's some quick putts out there, but should be in good shape.

01:12:46.988 --> 01:12:59.868
I cannot wait the way it's only supposed to be 86 on Saturday yeah best weather of the years on its way yeah, october

01:13:00.569 --> 01:13:01.739
we got two days of great shit.

01:13:01.739 --> 01:13:02.622
I might use this.

01:13:02.622 --> 01:13:04.787
I might bring this another whatnot call out.

01:13:04.787 --> 01:13:06.872
I might use it.

01:13:06.872 --> 01:13:15.909
I might oh, you should use it, I might I like if you, if you use yours, I'll bring mine oh, I like the feel of it.

01:13:15.909 --> 01:13:19.894
I do like the feel of it Feels good.

01:13:19.894 --> 01:13:21.416
I might bring it, I don't know.

01:13:23.320 --> 01:13:24.426
Dan's going to buy a Napa.

01:13:25.860 --> 01:13:28.186
Yep Dan already bought the Napa, I hope.

01:13:30.680 --> 01:13:32.748
Dan, would you rock that, or would you just shelf it?

01:13:34.881 --> 01:13:44.567
Man, I don't know, I don't know, I'd have to give us some serious thought I kind of want to send this this custom shop, bro, because this thing is great.

01:13:45.368 --> 01:13:46.090
I really like it.

01:13:46.090 --> 01:13:48.360
Sound of phase are awesome.

01:13:49.625 --> 01:13:57.112
The flow neck too sick I did not get my red and white landmine shirt.

01:13:57.112 --> 01:13:57.814
I got this one.

01:14:00.621 --> 01:14:01.904
Matt said Q&A time.

01:14:01.904 --> 01:14:03.849
Question mark.

01:14:04.470 --> 01:14:04.692
Go.

01:14:04.692 --> 01:14:07.123
Fire in the hole.

01:14:07.123 --> 01:14:08.309
We're always down for those.

01:14:09.081 --> 01:14:15.545
Look at this tradition golf flag right here Two hitting greens, bada bing, bada, boom Bada bing bada boom.

01:14:15.545 --> 01:14:17.265
No, but I might bring that.

01:14:17.265 --> 01:14:24.728
I might try and bring that for the tournament this weekend, which I've never played it ever in my entire life.

01:14:24.728 --> 01:14:26.923
But I might do it because I'm that guy.

01:14:27.865 --> 01:14:28.306
That guy.

01:14:28.306 --> 01:14:34.347
Oh, hang on, I got new sound noises.

01:14:34.347 --> 01:14:39.550
They uploaded a bunch of new sounds so I was able to bring over some of these old sounds.

01:14:39.550 --> 01:14:45.007
Joe has paid his side game money.

01:14:45.007 --> 01:14:47.645
Raise your hand if you haven't.

01:14:49.601 --> 01:14:50.546
Oh, am I first.

01:14:51.061 --> 01:14:56.443
Ah, yes, Dan, I haven't gotten yours yet either, unless you did earlier, I did it already.

01:14:56.443 --> 01:14:58.368
Check your Venmo.

01:14:58.368 --> 01:14:59.471
I'll check my Venmo.

01:15:00.701 --> 01:15:03.225
Hey, also if you guys want to donate to my son's school.

01:15:03.225 --> 01:15:04.930
I'm kidding.

01:15:05.010 --> 01:15:05.490
I'm kidding.

01:15:10.761 --> 01:15:13.786
His laugh goes on forever it's fundraiser season.

01:15:16.600 --> 01:15:17.804
Actually, Matt, you know what?

01:15:17.804 --> 01:15:18.667
Maybe I did it.

01:15:18.667 --> 01:15:21.033
That's hilarious.

01:15:21.033 --> 01:15:22.685
One partner for the Ryder Cup.

01:15:24.470 --> 01:15:24.890
We got to go.

01:15:24.951 --> 01:15:29.268
Okay, actually, matt, you're right, I haven't yet.

01:15:30.072 --> 01:15:34.328
Okay, you each have to pick one partner for the Ryder Cup.

01:15:34.328 --> 01:15:36.503
One Euro, one US Alternate shot.

01:15:36.503 --> 01:15:44.828
Ooh, thanks, austin, I'll have to remedy that.

01:15:48.921 --> 01:15:50.404
I'm going Bryson for US.

01:15:51.367 --> 01:15:51.688
Ooh.

01:15:52.952 --> 01:15:57.560
Hmm, that's uh, let's see.

01:15:57.581 --> 01:15:57.922
Where is it at?

01:15:57.943 --> 01:15:58.685
Oh, that's because of this.

01:15:59.983 --> 01:16:00.703
I'm a damn good putter.

01:16:00.864 --> 01:16:01.846
Yeah.

01:16:03.551 --> 01:16:04.052
Shane Lowry.

01:16:04.052 --> 01:16:07.264
Shane Lowry Bryson, shane Lowry Bryson combo.

01:16:09.990 --> 01:16:23.814
Um, let's see Probably go with Patrick Cantlie just to piss joe off that's what I was thinking.

01:16:23.873 --> 01:16:48.912
Brand man, that's exactly what I was thinking uh, I haven't studied the euro team too I don't know I'd have to look at the euro team more yeah, I mean, this is exactly what popped in my head right there, bryson fleetwood, you use in the two years double use, I'd go bryson fleetwood.

01:16:48.912 --> 01:16:49.554
I like that.

01:16:49.994 --> 01:16:55.769
I like that I don't know that, I don't, I don't know.

01:16:55.769 --> 01:16:58.974
I mean Scotty and Rory.

01:16:59.113 --> 01:17:02.789
there I went chalk because I'm always told I'm a chalk guy.

01:17:02.789 --> 01:17:04.185
He's a big chalk guy.

01:17:06.721 --> 01:17:08.628
I look at it like I don't know.

01:17:08.628 --> 01:17:25.266
I had an interaction with Bryson at Live and it just oozed fake, fake, fake and some of his youtube stuff I think is fantastic, but some of it is just just not real and so I I don't know.

01:17:26.569 --> 01:17:33.324
I would love to see you 24 7 you know, but uh that's why I wouldn't pick bryson.

01:17:33.324 --> 01:17:34.025
But then are you.

01:17:34.025 --> 01:17:37.421
Are you picking it for companionship and experience?

01:17:37.421 --> 01:17:37.631
Are you picking it to win?

01:17:37.631 --> 01:17:37.863
Are you picking to be, then?

01:17:37.863 --> 01:17:38.681
Are you picking it for companionship and experience, or are you picking it to win?

01:17:39.119 --> 01:17:41.143
Are you picking to be friends or are you picking to win?

01:17:41.545 --> 01:17:44.547
Yeah, because I mean, why would you not go with Scotty?

01:17:44.547 --> 01:18:04.030
I mean, jesus Christ, he's one of the best players in the world, best ball strikers in the world, dumbest golf item you've ever bought and you're embarrassed to say I could tell you right now, because I bought it today and I could show you a picture it was $6.

01:18:04.881 --> 01:18:06.024
$11 shipping.

01:18:06.024 --> 01:18:08.627
Let me pull it up, but it's dope.

01:18:08.627 --> 01:18:11.007
It's stupid, but it's fucking dope.

01:18:11.685 --> 01:18:13.823
Is it to sit on the toilet and putt-putt thing?

01:18:14.005 --> 01:18:21.212
Nope, it is a Sahara Invitational Jim Beam used bottle from 1971.

01:18:21.212 --> 01:18:22.301
It was six dollars.

01:18:22.301 --> 01:18:24.948
I bought it today on ebay.

01:18:24.948 --> 01:18:44.100
Uh, you know, you know the sahara invitational bottle, the gym beam bottle at national in the display case it's the Jim Beam bottle and it says Sahara Invitational and on the back it says $150,000.

01:18:44.784 --> 01:18:48.180
But it's all the liquid, the Jim Beam's out of it, gone.

01:18:48.180 --> 01:18:49.083
I bought it today.

01:18:49.083 --> 01:18:55.485
It's sick and when I find it I'll throw the picture up there.

01:18:55.485 --> 01:18:57.421
We go, bram man, let's go use that shit.

01:18:57.421 --> 01:18:58.305
I'll throw the picture up there.

01:18:58.305 --> 01:19:00.618
We go, bram man, let's go Use that shit.

01:19:01.060 --> 01:19:01.301
Let's go, Dan.

01:19:01.301 --> 01:19:03.569
What's your dumbest golf item you've ever bought?

01:19:03.740 --> 01:19:11.365
and you're embarrassed to say Probably half the shit I bought on whatnot.

01:19:11.365 --> 01:19:23.541
Yeah, I don't even know, man, I'd have to give some serious thought to that, like I've never really been one to buy like trainers or you know, or anything like that brand man.

01:19:23.560 --> 01:19:33.530
You need to call dan gay now, I don't know, man um, oh, actually the well, I don't know if it's the dumbest thing, but the thing.

01:19:33.530 --> 01:19:48.546
But recently it pissed me the fuck off was I bought two used grips on 4RiteShow to get into the fucking buyer's givvy and it pissed me the fuck off and that was.

01:19:48.546 --> 01:19:53.243
That's one of those purchases that stick with me, yep.

01:19:53.926 --> 01:19:54.670
Shut out Levi.

01:19:56.740 --> 01:19:58.386
Yeah, no, no, shut out out, levi.

01:19:58.386 --> 01:19:59.270
You fucked me on that.

01:20:05.027 --> 01:20:07.373
Oh my gosh, that's hilarious.

01:20:08.438 --> 01:20:09.020
I'm trying to think.

01:20:09.020 --> 01:20:14.747
And the funny thing is, too, a couple of his homies got some shittier gifts.

01:20:14.747 --> 01:20:20.068
They paid like $55 for a towel or something like that, and he's like, oh, I, I'm gonna throw in some golf balls with you.

01:20:20.068 --> 01:20:21.360
I was like, what the fuck?

01:20:21.360 --> 01:20:21.922
What about me?

01:20:21.922 --> 01:20:23.126
I got two years grip.

01:20:23.126 --> 01:20:30.167
I don't get shit the fuck oh whatnot because of her feelings.

01:20:30.228 --> 01:20:41.225
Man oh man, I'm trying to think if I bought anything, I, I mean I've bought training aids, but I can't think of anyone that's been like I'm embarrassed.

01:20:41.520 --> 01:20:43.828
I haven't bought iron covers.

01:20:43.828 --> 01:20:47.506
I did.

01:20:47.506 --> 01:20:48.670
No, that was review stuff.

01:20:48.670 --> 01:20:53.639
I got so much stuff doing reviews for three guys that I never really bought anything.

01:20:53.639 --> 01:20:55.346
That was like embarrassing.

01:20:55.346 --> 01:21:01.301
So that's a tough one.

01:21:01.301 --> 01:21:01.984
Like a cheap ass range finder.

01:21:01.984 --> 01:21:09.631
But you know, trying to go cheap finder, hey, all right, let's do this givey.

01:21:09.631 --> 01:21:10.972
Um.

01:21:10.972 --> 01:21:16.104
So everybody, there's only nine people in here, so you know you got a one in nine chance right now.

01:21:16.405 --> 01:21:26.771
Uh yeah also bidding on, like complete in box, nintendo golf cartridges from 1985 currently.

01:21:26.771 --> 01:21:29.237
Oh, that game is sick, right?

01:21:29.237 --> 01:21:32.601
Uh, where, dude, I'm trying to find it, it's sick.

01:21:32.601 --> 01:21:36.228
Oh, I sent the picture to ch Torres, oh and two people just left.

01:21:36.228 --> 01:21:39.193
So, one chance.

01:21:39.193 --> 01:21:40.274
Here we go.

01:21:40.274 --> 01:21:40.914
I got it right here.

01:21:40.914 --> 01:21:42.184
This is what I bought today.

01:21:42.184 --> 01:21:43.628
Look at this.

01:21:43.628 --> 01:21:45.266
This thing is fucking sick though.

01:21:45.266 --> 01:21:51.551
Las Vegas Sahara Invitational Jim Beam bottle.

01:21:51.551 --> 01:21:52.533
It was $6.

01:21:52.533 --> 01:21:54.104
I paid $11 in shipping.

01:21:54.104 --> 01:21:54.846
That's cool.

01:21:54.846 --> 01:21:55.951
This thing is sick, though.

01:21:59.961 --> 01:22:01.966
Does it have booze in it or is it just the vessel?

01:22:02.027 --> 01:22:03.270
No, it's empty it's empty.

01:22:03.270 --> 01:22:05.929
You have to fill it with something.

01:22:05.929 --> 01:22:09.947
It says $150,000.

01:22:09.947 --> 01:22:16.725
Sick, it's dope, it's stupid, but it's cool, it's fuck.

01:22:18.671 --> 01:22:19.752
So yeah, all right.

01:22:19.752 --> 01:22:26.525
So one in eight chance Payment failed Can't win because he donated this.

01:22:26.565 --> 01:22:27.488
He doesn't want it back.

01:22:27.488 --> 01:22:31.569
So we talked about it.

01:22:33.180 --> 01:22:35.788
Probably went way too long tonight for this.

01:22:36.229 --> 01:22:36.610
We did.

01:22:38.682 --> 01:22:43.734
But here let's, let's, let me bring up my share, my screen, so we can get it on here.

Tell us how you really feel dan, I have, not I.

01:24:27.212 --> 01:24:41.823
They're gonna be in play at the tournament for the first time saturday, so might as well throw a new putter in there too old move cotton, old move cotton I've only I've only taken off the plastic off the 60 I still got.

01:24:41.823 --> 01:24:47.793
I gotta take this, the plastic off the 54 and 50 hey I will.

01:24:47.934 --> 01:24:51.730
It's a process I will say this about landman the cups are awesome.

01:24:51.730 --> 01:24:53.617
Good that they do that.

01:24:53.617 --> 01:24:55.221
The turn shack was awesome.

01:24:55.221 --> 01:25:07.067
They put one of our stickers, one of the CDP stickers, on the cooler at the Turn Shack and the lady who said she would ask then emailed me a photo of it.

01:25:07.067 --> 01:25:08.985
So thank you for that.

01:25:08.985 --> 01:25:14.908
There's also one at the Starter Shed and then there's another one hidden on the course.

01:25:23.701 --> 01:25:26.210
I'll send you a pink hat, like Joe's hat.

01:25:30.287 --> 01:25:37.270
Hey, Jeremy, was trying to get a little exotic out there I was but then I realized I don't wear hipster style golf hats.

01:25:37.420 --> 01:25:50.335
He was like hey, hey this thing is ups almost color that that I'm going colorblind.

01:25:50.335 --> 01:25:53.813
I think stuff just looks a different color to me.

01:25:53.813 --> 01:26:01.667
And then I get out in the sunlight and I'm like it's fucking green hey so payment failed.

01:26:01.747 --> 01:26:03.251
We're gonna do him a favor as well.

01:26:03.251 --> 01:26:12.893
If you guys are watching live, he's modding for dz22, which is also a very sick legend on the whatnot app.

01:26:12.893 --> 01:26:14.320
He's modding for him over there.

01:26:14.320 --> 01:26:30.372
So when we finish, if you're a whatnot or, go over there and jump in there and just throw cdps in the chat, let's go I think that's, I think that's everything I think so I think so, dan.

01:26:30.913 --> 01:26:31.534
How you doing, buddy?

01:26:31.534 --> 01:26:32.360
Thanks for sitting in.

01:26:32.360 --> 01:26:34.006
Yeah, I'm good.

01:26:34.006 --> 01:26:37.859
I'm looking forward to next week when you can actually chime in and talk.

01:26:38.688 --> 01:26:39.859
Dan, we gotta go to Nebraska.

01:26:39.859 --> 01:26:47.783
I wish you we're going when they open up, we're entering we'll go again you

01:26:47.844 --> 01:26:54.327

01:26:55.564 --> 01:27:02.546
I love this hat, but it's it's green we need to go, we need to get.

01:27:02.587 --> 01:27:04.250
There is what we need to do.

01:27:04.250 --> 01:27:15.962
We need to get, yeah, to this place and dismal river, and dismal river and ballyneal there's so many places there's so many good places out there.

01:27:15.981 --> 01:27:16.945
There's too much man.

01:27:16.966 --> 01:27:17.609
That's the problem.

01:27:18.141 --> 01:27:24.279
That's the problem, yeah make sure to put some gay shit in that box I'm sending.

01:27:24.279 --> 01:27:32.804
You may not want to open this up in front of your kids if you have any, so that's all I'm saying.

01:27:32.804 --> 01:27:42.636
If we don't got anything else, uh that that that will be a wrap.

01:27:42.636 --> 01:27:45.743
Uh, thanks everybody for tuning in this week.

01:27:45.743 --> 01:27:48.810
